In this paper, we propose schemes of blockchain utilization in tactical communication environment. The military tactical communication environment has similar characteristics with blockchain network such as distributed architecture, decentralization, and the need for data integrity. A communication node constituting a tactical communication network is constituted by a system capable of configuring and connecting a network for each node. When a communication node, having such capabilities, is configured as a node of blockchain network, various functions could be performed. In this paper, we propose utilization schemes of authentication, integrity, record management, and privilege control based blockchain technology. Functions for authentication, integrity verification, and record management need to ensure the stored data and could track history. The requirement of function's characteristics are matched to blockchain which is storing data sequentially and difficult to hack data, so that it could perform functionally and sufficiently well. Functions for authority control should be able to assign different privileges according to the state of the requestor. Smart contract will function when certain conditions are satisfied and it will be able to perform its functions by using it. In this paper, we will look over functions and utilization schemes of blockchain technology which could reliably share and synchronize data in a tactical communication environment composed of distributed network environment.

Due to the difference between the underwater communication environment and the terrestrial communication environment, the radio communication mainly used on the ground cannot be used in underwater. For this reason, in the underwater communication environment, various communication media such as acoustic waves, infrared rays, light and so on has been studied, but there exist several difficulties in operating them individually due to their physical limitations. The concept for overcoming these difficulties is the very underwater multi-media communication, a method to select a communication medium best suitable for the current underwater environment among underwater communication multimedia whenever there occurs underwater communication failure. In this paper, we present an underwater multi-media communication network based on star topology and a fragmentation and reassembly technique to solve the problems caused by the different MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) sizes among different underwater communication media. We also present the estimations and analysis on processing times in each of fragmentation and reassembly and the total data amount for transmitting fragments in our proposed underwater multi-media communication network.

Recently, mobile communication technology has new eras with supply of 5G commercial communication. 5G mobile communication service is currently supplied with city area, services will be quickly expanded to entire area of country. This mmWave based 5G mobile communication is under spreading for human communication with voice and Internet service. After completion of construction of this human communication, this technology will be expanded to industrial communications. Railway communication system is an example of this industrial communications. In this, performance of traffic transmission for railway communication network based on this 5G railway communication networks will be analyzed with computer simulations. Construction requirements of 5G railway communication networks will be suggested with this analysis results.

The purposes of this research were to find out general trends of the efficiency of the interspouse communication and the level of stress recognition, to estimate the differences of the efficiency of communication and the level of stress recognition according to socio-demographic, communication variables, and to analyze correlations between stress recognition and communication efficiency. The subjects of this study were 220 couples in Kwang-ju. The major results were as follow; 1) The level of wives' stress recognition was higher than husbands' and the level of interspouse communication efficiency was median. 2) Communication efficiency showed significant differences according to number of children, the duration of marriage in wives. The level of stress recognition showed significant differences according to the hours they spend in daily communication, the typeds of communication, the satisfaction of communication in both groups of husbands and wives. 3) Marital communication efficiency was negatively correlated with the level of stress recognition in couples.

Method: We reviewed the papers of communication analysis studies in various fields and summarized communication error researches. Results: We proposed perspectives for communication error analysis and explained the need for extended analysis framework using advanced human-machine interfaces, which will cause the change of communication between operation team, including shifted abstraction phenomena. And we describe main concepts and the case study of H-H-S framework and finally introduce current studies of communication analysis in nuclear domain. Conclusion: The goal of communication analysis is common in all industries. We have to share and co-work for event prevention. Application: The results of the communication analysis might help to facilitate the understanding for interested researchers.

Background: Communication is important for the elderly to maintain existing social relationships while creating new relationships based on good communication skills to lessen psychological and emotional distress and lead a healthy life in advanced age. Aims: This study identifies the difference between the social network-based quality of communication life and the overall quality of life in the elderly and how much the quality of communication life affects the overall quality of life. Methods: This research includes a survey of the elderly aged 65 and over living in small cities of South Korea. Data sets of 201 elderly were analyzed. Results: This study found a significant correlation between the quality of communication life and the overall quality of life. Religion also influences the elderly's quality of communication life. The elderly's quality of communication life has 40% explanatory power of the overall quality of life. Conclusion: Consequently, senior citizens' quality of life will be improved through the enhanced quality of communication in addition to financial and health conditions by participating in various community activities similar to those provided by religion to increase opportunities for communication.

Effective internal communication is known to have a positive impact on business performance, but there is a lack of research on the effects of online channels for workplace communication. This study using regression analysis examines how task-technology fit, information richness, self-efficacy, perceived ease of use, and perceived usefulness related to online communication channels affect not only the satisfaction with the tools but also the effectiveness of them. Additionally, we verify how the organizational culture of online and offline communication shows the control effect. As a result, all five variables were positively correlated with internal communication channels satisfaction, and we found that the organizational culture of online and offline communication controls the relationship between online communication channels satisfaction and effectiveness.

Culture is the soul of tourism, and communication is the key to the inheritance and development of tourism culture. Therefore, culture and communication are essential for the development of tourism. Digital media art is a new form of art that combines technical, artistic, and media-oriented elements. Its artistic expression and crossover communication capabilities drive its usage in cultural tourism communication. This paper examines the influence of digital media art on tourism culture communication and development by elucidating the concept and characteristics of tourism culture communication and digital media art, applying the theoretical knowledge of communication, and deriving the specific characteristics of digital media art on tourism culture in terms of the transmission-reception relationship, content, medium, and effect. The role and value of digital media art in disseminating and developing tourism culture are discussed. We aim to provide valuable insights for the dissemination of tourism culture.

This paper analyzed the modes of human communication of the Korean enlightenment era through 9 new-style novels with the assumption that the fictitious world of novels reflect the social realities of that time. The most noticeable fact was that the communication environment of that time were remarkably diversified with the new media, such as newspaper, printed book, postal system, telegraph, telephone, and photo. But the communication of most people was mainly relied on traditional oral communication. In oral communication the hierarchical relationship and age were the most important variable as usual but the formality and etiquette were weakened than Late Chosun Dynasty. The distribution of written culture was enlarged especially by women and lower class. The contact with the foreign cultures which had become possible after the opening of ports brought about intercultural communication. In conclusion it can be said that the communication of people in the enlightenment era was mainly by oral communication but the reliance on the media was enlarged gradually.

We're living in a world of one global village. The globalization of business is acceleration as more companies cross national borders to find customers, materials and money. Many foreign companies and organizations are doing their business aggressively in Korea and many Korean companies and rushing into foreign market. When people communicate for business with someone from another culture, there could be difficult communication barriers to overcome resulting from differences in their values, beliefs, norms for behavior, expectations, attitudes and so on. To do successfully business, we need to understand culture background and communication style that is different from nation, race, language. Communication barriers stemming from cultural differences may vary. Largely, they can be divided into value system, non-verbal communication, and perception process. Value system can be divided into individualism versus group orientation, avoidance of uncertainty degree, power distance, and high- context culture versus low-context culture. Also non-verbal communication method and perception process may play decisive roles in communication effectiveness. Especially nonverbal communication barriers which sometimes play more important roles than the verbal parts are composed of eye contact, gesture, kinesics, proxemics, chronemics, paralanguage and language of color Cross-cultural communication affect business situation. I expect that if we understand cultural background, and then we overcome cross-cultural communication barriers. To overcome and to adapt inter-cultural business, we need to develope curriculum on the cross-cultural education which I will study in the next paper.
