여러 형상을 고려한 약물분출 스텐트의 성능에 대한 수치해석적 연구 (Performance of Various Drug-Eluting Stent Geometries Measured Using Computational Analysis)

  • 본 연구는 내피세포 표면에 약물방출 스텐트에서 방출되는 약물의 농도와 약물분출 스텐트의 형상과 설계가 스텐트 주위 유동특성에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 조사하기 위해 전산유체역학을 이용하여 연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구에서는 이상적으로 가정된 세 종류의 스텐트 모델과 임상결과를 거쳐 상용화되고 있는 세 종류의 스텐트 모델에 대하여 전산수치해석을 수행하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 스텐트의 성능을 정량적으로 평가할 수 있는 스텐트 영향 지수의 개념을 소개하고, 성능을 비교하는 것이다. 비교 결과, 연구된 세 종류의 상용 스텐트 모델 중 수치 모사에 적용된 모든 레이놀즈 수에 대하여 BX Velocity 스텐트의 스텐트 영향 지수가 가장 낮게 나타났다. 그러나 여섯 종류의 스텐트 모델 가운데에서는 전산 수치 모사에 적용된 모든 유동조건하에서 Spiral 스텐트의 스텐트 영향 지수가 가장 낮고 성능 역시 가장 좋은 것으로 나타났다.

Effect of Total Digestible Nutrients Level of Concentrates on Growth Performance, Carcass Characteristics, and Meat Composition of Korean Hanwoo Steers

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effect of the total digestible nutrients (TDN) level of commercial concentrates on growth performance, carcass characteristics, and meat composition of late fattening Hanwoo steers. A total of 28 steers were randomly assigned to one of four dietary groups; T1 (73.30% TDN), T2 (74.50% TDN), T3 (76.40% TDN), and T4 (77.10% TDN). Average daily gain (ADG) was slightly but not significantly higher in the T2 than in the other treatments. Dry matter intake (DMI) and feed conversion ratio (FCR) were higher in the T2 than in the other treatments; however, the differences were not statistically significant. Carcass back fat thickness was thicker in the T4 and marbling score was higher in the T2 than in the other treatments; however, the differences were not statistically significant. The TDN level of concentrates had no effect on the physicochemical characteristics and fatty acid composition of the longissimus muscle. The finding of this study indicate that less than 74% or greater than 75% TDN in the commercial concentrate did not contribute to improve ADG, FCR, marbling score; therefore, in the present study, the recommendable TDN level in the commercial concentrate for late fattening period was 74% to 75% in terms of growth performance and marbling score of Hanwoo steer.

커피의 소비 유형별 품질 속성에 대한 고객 인식 분석 (Analysis of Customer Perception for Quality Attributes According to Consumers' Coffee Consumption Types)

  • The purposes of this study were to analyze importance and performance for coffee quality attributes based on customers according to their consumption types; and provided ideas and marketing strategies to increase sales through IPAs (Importance-Performance Analysis). University students in Incheon were conducted a survey from March 13, 2007 to March 31, 2007. As for a quality attribute with the highest importance, the survey showed 'price' was important for ${\ulcorner}$vending machine coffee${\lrcorner}$, and 'taste' was important for ${\ulcorner}$commercial coffee${\lrcorner}$, and ${\ulcorner}$coffee house coffee${\lrcorner}$. And 'thirst relief' was found to have the lowest importance for three types of coffee. As for a quality attributes with the highest performance, the survey showed 'taste' was important for ${\ulcorner}$coffee house coffee${\lrcorner}$ 'price' was important for ${\ulcorner}$vending machine coffee${\lrcorner}$; and 'period of circulation' was important for ${\ulcorner}$commercial coffee${\lrcorner}$. IPA results for coffee quality attributes also showed quality attributes that should be improved quickly for each type of coffee: 'hygiene', 'safety', 'period of circulation', and 'package' were for ${\ulcorner}$vending machine coffee${\lrcorner}$; 'price' and 'freshness' were for ${\ulcorner}$commercial coffee${\lrcorner}$; and 'price' and 'period of circulation' were for ${\ulcorner}$coffee house coffee${\lrcorner}$.

Applying Neural Networks to Model Monthly Energy Consumption of Commercial Buildings in Singapore(ICCAS2004)

  • The methodology for modeling building energy consumption is well established for energy saving calculation in the temperate zone both for performance-based energy retrofitting contracts and measurement and verification (M&V) projects. Mostly, statistical regression models based on utility bills and outdoor dry-bulb temperature have been applied to baseline monthly and annual whole building energy use. This paper presents the application of neural networks (NN) to model landlord energy consumption of commercial buildings in Singapore. Firstly, a brief background information on NN and its application on the building energy research is provided. Secondly, five commercial buildings with various characteristics were selected for case studies. Monthly mean outdoor dry-bulb temperature ($T_0$), Relative Humidity (RH) and Global Solar Radiation (GSR) are used as network inputs and the landlord monthly energy consumption of the same period is the output. Up to three years monthly data are taken as training data. A forecast has been made for another year for all the five buildings. The performance of the NN analysis was evaluated using coefficient of variance (CV). The results show that NNs is powerful at predicting annual landlord energy consumption with high accuracy.

상용차용 전동식 클러치의 동적특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Dynamic Characteristics of a Electric Motor Clutch for Commercial Vehicles)

  • To improve the performance of clutch actuator of clutch-by-wire system for commercial vehicles, it is necessary to understand the driving characteristics of the system. To explain and predict the effects of driving characteristics on clutch characteristics, AMESim software is used. The simulation model of clutch-by-wire system is developed in the AMESim environments under the geometrical dimensions and driving mechanisms of the clutch-by-wire system, such as the rotation speed of the DC motor, the gear ratio of the reducer, the design parameters of the release fork, the coefficient of the clutch diaphragm spring, and so on. The results show that the theoretical analysis of the clutch-by-wire system for commercial vehicles using the AMESim software find out the driving characteristics of the clutch actuator, and predict the performance characteristics of the clutch-by-wire system.

  • Restorations of automotive parts have been done ever since the first vehicle was produced. Because the most expensive parts of a vehicle are in the engine system, there have been various restoration methods developed for engine parts. In the case of commercial diesel engines, the fuel injection device is a key and expensive component. It also has a significant effect on vehicle performance. In particular, reduced engine power and increased exhaust gas emissions may result from mechanical damage due to abrasion of the spill valve in the fuel injection system of a diesel engine. In this paper, restoration techniques for damaged parts are applied to restore the abrasion of a spill valve of fuel injection, also called as the "unit injector", of commercial diesel engines. In order to recover the damage, optimized polishing techniques using hard-metal and coating processes are applied. To evaluate restoration techniques for the spill valve, performance and durability tests are performed on a test bench.

무역계약상 사정변경에 관한 비교법적 고찰 (A Comparative Study on Change Circumstances in International Commercial Contracts)

  • This Study attempts to compare and analyze on Principle of Change Circumstances under th CISG, PICC and PECL which are covered international commercial contract. In many international commercial contract, time is very important because delays in performance are sanctioned heavily by substantial penalty clauses. When change in circumstances affects contract performance, the contract will often not be suspended or terminated. Therefore, principle of change circumstances is being prepared of fluidity of contract environment and its effect in general. Taking into consideration the problems relating to the renegotiation or adaptation in the cases of radical change of circumstances where the CISG applies, it is suggested that the contracting parties should make clear their intentions, that is, whether they will provide for the possibility of renegotiation where the price of goods has been altered by inserting a hardship clause or for the possibility of mutual discharge from liability in the cases of economic impossibility or hardship by inserting a force majeure clause. Such provision will be desirable especially in situations where there is a long term contract, the price of goods sold tends to fluctuate in the international commerce, or where especially in contracts subjected to arbitration, the parties subject their contract to legal sources or principles of supranational character. Therefore, this study has shown that the hardship provisions in the CISG, PICC and PECL has similarities to each a validity defense and an excuse defense. it was provisions that CISG governs this issue in Article 79, PICC Article 6.2.1, 6.2.2, 6.2.3 and PECL Article 6.111.

상업용 도시재생 모듈러 건축물의 공간이용에 따른 실내공기질 평가 (Indoor Air Quality Evaluation of Commercial Urban Regeneration Modular Structure According to Space Usage)

  • From 2000s, modular construction has gained more attention due to many advantages such as reduction of duration, recycling. The modular structure is being used for urban regeneration recently. However, even though most facilities in the modular structures which are used as urban regeneration building are commercial spaces, exhibition spaces, eating and drinking spaces, there are lack of natural or mechanical ventilation systems. Also, there are relatively limited spaces on modular structure characteristic. Therefore, indoor environment performance of four buildings, which are performed as urban regeneration in Seoul, was evaluated by HCHO and $CO_2$ emissions. Consequently, the HCHO and $CO_2$ emissions of the commercial and exhibition spaces were confirmed that can influence on health of occupants. Therefore, the urban regeneration modular structure needs to add local ventilation systems for improvement of indoor air quality to more healthy and comfortable.

SAE J1939 프로토콜기반 Gateway 제어모듈 개발에 관한 연구 (The Study of Gateway Control Module Using SAE J1939 Protocol)

  • This study presents the development of Gateway Control Module using SAE J1939 protocol for the commercial vehicles. Presently, the load rate of CAN bus is increased by the single network composition and addition of new ECUs for development of intelligent vehicles. Because the embedded system of the integrated network control function has the errors of the CAN bus caused by the increase of ECU, it is needed for development of commercial vehicles. Also, this study presents the development of smart functions that can diagnosis CAN bus errors, fault diagnosis of ECU and basic function that arbitrates CAN bus between ECUs of commercial vehicle. GCM was designed for 4channel separation about Gateway function as solution of load rate decrease and smart functions. HILS(Hardware in the loop simulation)system that can achieve simulation about CAN Messages of all systems on vehicle was applied to evaluate performance and verification of all functions and performance. The load rate on CAN bus was decreased at using functions what was delivery, block and process of GCM. Through this, it was enabled to organize systematic architecture for gateway.
