Here, we studied the sports mouse guard as an oral device system, to minimize the sports related facial and dental injuries, jawbone fracture and brain injury, and by layering the hardened sheets for improving the activity performance and stable wearing. By pressuring and layering 2 soft- and 1 hard-layers of ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) thermoplastic materials, for a category of martial art, record sports and leports, here we introduce a methodology for thickness control of layers to protect the teeth and oral structure. A personally customized mouse guard optimized for sports by layering a mixture of soft and hardened sheets is not easily detached during the sporting activity, easy to breathe through, comforts to wear, and also improves the sporting record. A designed EVA thermoplastic material for individual sports is used as the mouth guard, which is stably attached, easily removed, and convenient for breathing through the mouth.

District unit plan was arranged for rational induction and regulation of development due to increase of demand for comfortable environment and change of recognition of urban view. This study analyzes cases of district unit plan since 2003 and draws the following conclusions to provide basic material necessary for landscape impact assessment and analysis of actual conditions. It used regulation of design factors and analysis of physical index in making view plan and focuses on characteristics of visual perception in predicting impact through simulation. Future landscape impact assessment must establish a variety of indices and application of various techniques.

With radical increase in one-person households, the consumption market in Korea has also rapidly changed. In line with this movement, customized furniture for sing lecustomershas been recently introduced. Since sleeping more than eight hours a day is needed to maintain a healthy lifestyle, a suitable bed for a comfortable sleep is an essential product for single consumers. In order to respond to this trend, a study was conducted to examine the surface materials of a bed designed for singles. A complete enumeration survey was implemented for beds manufactured by ACEBED Co., Ltd., Simmons-k, Co, Ltd,. Keumsung Bed, Hanssem Co,. Ltd., Hyundai Livart Co,. Ltd,. Emons Furniture Co,. Ltd,. and Borneo International Furniture Co., Ltd. This study helped in the proper selection of surface materials that may be used in the development of furniture for single consumers.

The purpose of this study is to offer basic data to manufacture superior brassiere, by finding out wearing effect and wearing comfort after select high-functional brassiere and usual brassiere of brassiere on the market, and by analyzing the features of superior brassiere in wearing effect and comfort. The results of this research are as follows; 1) As a result of testing the wearing effect when wear a brassiere, the revision effect of high-functional brassiere was higher than that of usual one. But, from questions on general comfortable feeling. the wearing comfort of usual brassiere was higher in comparison with high-functional brassiere. In the questions for comparison and evaluation, the frequency of hard type-functional brassiere was highest. 2) As a result of examining the wearing effect and comfort of brassiere by each type, the wearing effect of high-functional brassiere was excellent. because of the difference in the size, construction, and material of brassiere, and the wearing comfort of hard type high-functional brassiere were superior relatively.

In the recent years, domestic construction companies have tried to differentiate their apartments using brand positioning. Respective construction companies are attracting public attention with discriminative brands. This study investigated residents' preferences focusing on apartments facade design used in marketing strategy of brand apartments. Four concepts in surveyed brand apartments are deluxe, modern, eco-friendly and comfortable. According to the related study on design factor of apartment facade, the design factors are chosen such as the overall building shape, balcony form, main color, exterior wall shape, material, main access shape, pent house design and window size. As a result of analysis, there was a difference between brand concepts and consumers' views. Therefore, apartment facade design to differentiate their own companies' brand images should consider the perception of customers.

The purpose of this study is confirming the design characteristics and brand strategies of Ralph Lauren's products through the advertising pictures on internet website. Methods of this study are the analysis of his brand growth process, concept strategy and designs by web promotion sites. Also this study defined his brand character and fashion mind. Marketing strategy using life style and IT business. 2) Ralph Lauren's designs characters are 1. Rich and simple style by preppy look 2. Traditional wear of noble taste 3. Western style of American reclamation period 4. Using of comfortable material 5. Unique colors which are simbolic. Today, his classic and preppy designs all draw upon an image of old word wealth and luxury and he pioneered the concept of clothes as part of a lifestyle environment.

This paper deals with the Ondol, Korean under-floor heating system using latent heat storage materials. It has been recognized that the heating system using the latent heat storage materials are economically efficient and comfortable. For the comparison and analysis to the data of the existing experiment, a repetitive experiment makes sure the ability of Ondol panel.

Vehicle seats provide a comfortable ride for passengers by properly absorbing vibrations and shocks transmitted during driving. Vibration analyses on three models with different shapes were carried with the same material properties and constraint conditions. By varying the height of the seat-back, models 1, 2, and 3 were designed according to the inclined angle of the seat-back frame. Models 1, 2, and 3 were modeled with relatively simple designs using CATIA. The areas touching the buttocks of passengers show the most deformation. This work shows that seat durability and stability can vary depending on the shape of the seat design.

The following research analyzed the sewing teaching of the tailored jacket shown in fashion textbooks, which are currently used in universities and educational organizations in the fashion industry. To analyze the sewing teaching of tailored jackets, we analyzed 35 textbooks in the market. Among them we used 14 textbooks which dealt with the patter formation method of tailored jackets, and cutting and sewing methods. First, the stitching direction and the location of attachment varied. The type of sticking tape and its position also differed, emphasizing the need to make an institutionalized education material which is based on the characteristic of the fabric and its silhouette. Second, controlling the ease length of the right side sewing princess line, or information about the shoulder line and sleeve line of the notch as not specifically shown in the textbooks. Furthermore, not many textbooks showed how to pull the lower part of the texture out of sight, nor did they explain why this needed to be done. Third, the lining is usually slightly larger than the outer texture of the clothing, as the lining is usually tugged in the sewing process, and this method makes the clothes more comfortable. The method of sewing the princessline $0.2{\sim}0.3cm$ outside the outer pattern was the most recommended. The center-back side was usually 2cm in activity measurements, but it turned out that a textbook which required ease treatment on the shoulder line did not do so on the lining material. The textbooks used in this research dealt only with how to manufacture a tailored jacket without full explanation about textures which could influence the manufacturing. The production method and process differed between different textbooks, showing the need to make a institutionalized education material. In a quickly-changing era where there is rapid change in the dressmaking procedure, we need to help students understand the process more easily through a formalized education process.

This study is to understand the actual condition of design and material of peanut-shaped diaper with looking at the types and characteristics of baby cloth diapers and domestic peanut-shaped diapers registered in the Patent Office. Furthermore, it is to suggest the basic data for designing more functional and comfortable cloth diapers. Here are the research result on the actual condition of design and material of baby cloth diapers. Firstly, 11 cloth diapers registered in the Patent Office can be divided into panty-shaped and straight line-shaped diapers. There are 7 kinds of panty-shaped cloth diapers which satisfy both the convenience of a disposable diaper and sanitation of a cloth diaper, and 4 kinds of straight line-shaped cloth diapers that minimize the weaknesses of existing cloth diapers. Secondly, domestic peanut-shaped cloth diapers can be divided into peanut-shaped, inserted, winged, velcro-attached diapers. Among 23 kinds of peanut-shaped cloth diapers from 16 companies, there are 12 kinds of peanut-shaped diapers which consist of layers of cloth to make peanut shape. There are 6 kinds of inserted diapers that insert extra diapers or handkerchiefs in between two sheets of cloth diapers and 3 kinds of winged diapers designed to shorten drying time with sawing only one side of several layered sheets. Also, there are 2 kinds of velcro-attached diapers that are removable according to the amount of excreta. Commonly used materials are cotton woven of diamond jacquard and knit of diamond Hole Stitch or Plain Stitch. And for handing the edge of diaper, the method of wrapping up the edge with cotton woven or knit bias is used.
