Method for flexural stiffness of steel-concrete composite beams based on stiffness combination coefficients

  • To investigate the flexural stiffness of the steel-composite beam, the contributions of the concrete slab and steel beam to the stiffness were considered separately. The method for flexural stiffness of the composite beam, considering the stiffness of the concrete slab and steel beam, was proposed in this paper. In addition, finite element models of the composite beams were established and validated. Parametric analyses were carried out to study the effects of different parameters on the neutral axis distance reduction factors of the concrete slab and steel beam. Afterward, the neutral axis distance reduction factors were fitted, and the stiffness combination coefficients of the two parts were solved. Based on the stiffness combination coefficients, the flexural stiffness of the composite beam can be obtained. The proposed method was validated by the tested and analyzed results. The method has a simple form and high accuracy in predicting the flexural stiffness of the steel-concrete composite beam, even though the degree of shear connection is less than 0.5.

  • 본 연구는 epidermal growth factor(EGF)가 처리된 돼지 체외성숙란의 수정능력을 조사하기 위하여 실시하였다. 돼지 미성숙란의 성숙을 위해서 배양액내에 EGF(10ng/ml)와 FSH(10$\mu\textrm{g}$/ml) 또는 FBS(10%)를 단독 혹은 공동 첨가함으로서 4처리군으로 처리하였다(1:무처리군, 2:EGF 단독 처리군, 3: FSH와 FBS 공동 처리군, 4: EGF와 FSH 그리고 FBS 공동 처리군). 그 결과 2, 3, 4 처리군의 핵성숙율은 무처리군보다 현저하게 높았다(P<0.001). 수정율에 있어서 EGF 단독 처리군의 경우 3과 4 처리군보다 낮았지만, 무처리군보다는 현저하게 높았다(P<0.05). 더욱이 EGF와 FSH 그리고 FBS의 공동 처리군의 경우 다른 모든 처리군에 비하여 정자 침입뿐만 아니라 웅성 전핵 형성율이 높았다(P<0.05). 따라서 돼지 난포란의 체외성숙시 EGF 단독 처리만으로는 핵성숙에 수반된 세포질 성숙률은 낮았지만, EGF와 FSH 및 FBS를 공동 처리했을 때 돼지 체외성숙란의 세포질 성숙도 효과적으로 유도된다는 것을 알 수 있다.

T24 방광암세포에서 Luteolin과 TRAIL의 복합 처리에 따른 Apoptosis 유도 (Induction of Apoptosis by Combination Treatment with Luteolin and TRAIL in T24 Human Bladder Cancer Cells)

  • 본 연구에서는 플라보노이드 계열 중의 하나인 luteolin을 이용하여 TRAIL에 저항성을 가지는 T24 방광암세포에서 TRAIL 저항성 극복 가능성을 조사하였다. 본 연구의 결과에 의하면 luteolin 및 TRAIL 각각 단독 처리 시 세포증식에 전혀 영향을 미치지 못한 농도의 복합 처리 시 세포증식억제 효과가 크게 증가하였음 알 수 있었다. 이러한 증식억제와 연관된 aspoptosis 유도는 caspase-8의 활성화에 의한 tBid의 발현 증가와 pro-apoptotic 인자인 Bax의 발현 증가로 인한 caspase-9 및 -3의 활성화로 이어지는 type II apoptosis에 의한 것이라 추측되며, 이러한 가정은 각각의 caspase 선택적 저해제를 이용하여 재확인 하였다. 본 연구결과는 TRAIL에 저항성을 보이는 암세포에 luteolin이 감수성을 높이는데 효과적일 수 있으며, 암세포에 대한 combination therapy를 위한 기초자료로 활용성이 높을 것으로 사료된다.

  • Since the computer technology has been drastically developed and broadly employed for the design of human machine system, human system interface was somehow digitalized. Actually the operator's working environment employing the digital devices are not be fully digitalized due to its technical constraints so that it has been changed to the hybrid environment which has a combination of digital and analog elements. The hybrid environments need to study its characteristics and the guidelines for the proper design and evaluation purpose. This paper describes the human factor design elements of the console operated under hybrid environment through studying the characteristics of digital and analog environment based on the related human factor guidelines and literatures. The result of this paper implies the contribution to the evaluation of the generic human working environment which digital and analog elements are jointly used.

Flow Factor Prediction of Centrifugal Hydraulic Turbine for Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO)

  • The creation of the hydraulic turbine flow factor map will undoubtedly benefit its design by decreasing both the design cycle time and product cost. In this paper, the geometry and flow variables, which effectively affect the flow factor, are proposed, analyzed and determined. These flow variables are further used to create the operating condition maps by using different model approaches categorized into Response Surface Method (RSM) and Artificial Neural Network (ANN). The accuracies of models created by different approaches are compared and the performances of model approaches are analyzed. The influences of chosen variables and the combination of Principle Component Analysis (PCA) and model approaches are also studied. The comparison results between predicted and actual flow factors suggest that two-hidden-layer Feed-forward Neural Network (FFNN), and one.hidden-layer FFNN with PCA has the best performance on forming this mapping, and are accurate sufficiently for hydraulic turbine design.

  • In the past, TR-cost was collected the combination of energy cost. When power market is restructured. TR-cost is collected the separated form of loss-cost, congestion-cost and maintenance-cost. One of thorn, loss-cost is computed by using TR loss-factor. We need correct and fair standards of loss factor to offer economical signal and to protect against confusions of investment and bidding. Therefore, we propose the method of minimizing system loss-cost that is based on fair and correct loss-factor.

Comparative Study of PI, Fuzzy and Fuzzy tuned PI Controllers for Single-Phase AC-DC Three-Level Converter

  • This paper presents the design of closed loop controllers operating a single-phase AC-DC three-level converter for improving power quality at AC mains. Closed loop inhibits outer voltage controller and inner current controller. Simulations of three level converter with three different voltage and current controller combinations such as PI-Hysteresis, Fuzzy-Hysteresis and Fuzzy tuned PI-Hysteresis are carried out in MATLAB/Simulink. Performance parameters such as input power factor and source current total harmonic distortion (THD) are considered for comparison of the three controller combinations. The fuzzy-tuned PI voltage controller with hysteresis current controller combination provides a better result, with a source-current THD of 0.93% and unity power factor without any source side filter for the three level converter. For load variations of 25% to 100%, a THD of less than 5% is obtained with a maximum value of only 1.67%. Finally, the fuzzy-tuned PI voltage with hysteresis controller combination is implemented in a Xilinx Spartan-6 XC6SLX25 FPGA board for experimental validation of power quality enhancement. A prototype 100 W, 0-24-48 V as output converter is considered for the testing of controller performance. A source-current THD of 1.351% is obtained in the experimental study with a power factor near unity. For load variations of 25% to 100%, the THD is found to be less than 5%, with a maximum value of only 2.698% in the experimental setup which matches with the simulation results.

한국거주 외국인 채식주의자의 한국음식 선호도 및 한식선택속성 (Survey of Preferences and Choice in Korean Cuisine of Foreigners who are Vegetarian)

  • Korean food is being recognized for its excellence. This paper attempts to provide material for the popularization of Korean cuisine with respect to foreign nationals living in Korea who are vegetarian by studying their Korean cuisine knowledge and preferences. The results of an Importance-Performance Analysis showed that though the importance values of traditional spice use such as garlic and the consideration of ingredient price were high, their performance values were low. Thus, these were areas identified as needing major improvement. Repeated measured data analysis was performed to determine variations in the perception of major factors for the development of Korean cuisine. The results indicated that simplification of seasoning was the most important factor followed by diversification of food ingredients, resale of vegetables in small quantities, ease of obtaining Korean cuisine recipes, and popularization of herbal and temple food, in that order. The least important factor in developing Korean cuisine was determined to be the reduction in levels of salt. Conjoint analysis was performed on the choices affection the selection of Korean cuisine, and price was found to be the most important factor. It was also determined that the effectiveness in the combination of fusion style, health oriented, concurrently served, medium to low price Korean cuisine was highest in preference. The next highest preferred combination was traditional style, health oriented, concurrently served, medium to low price Korean cuisine. The most significant factor to keep in mind in developing Korean dishes for foreign vegetarians was determined to be price. Furthermore, it was important to not simply reduce caloric intake but to use healthy ingredients and cooking methods.

전자선의 선량분포에 있어서 Field Shaping의 효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Field Shaping on Dose Distribution of Electron Beams)

  • 전자선 치료시에 납판이나 저융점 합금이 조사면의 형태의 변형을 위하여 사용되고 있다. 콜리메이팅 장치와 마찬가지로 조사면 변형을 위한 물질도 전자선의 출력에 영향을 미친다. 저자들은 폴리스티렌 팬톰에 삽입된 Farmer형 전리함을 이용하여 Clinac-18의 전자선의 변형된 조사면에 대한 출력율을 측정하고 출력율에 영향을 미치는 요인들에 관해 분석했다. 전자선의 출력율은 전자선의 초기 에너지, 콜리메이팅 장치뿐만 아니라 조사면 크기에도 좌우되었다. 변형된 조사면에 대하여 잔자선의 에너지에 관계없이 X-선 콜리메이터와 전자선 어플리케이터의 조합이 고정되면 조사면의 크기 대 출력율은 A/P로 표시된 등가조사면의 크기에 따라 변하지만 조사면의 형태에 대해서는 무시할 수 있었다. 그러나 개조사면에 대한 출력율은 변형조사면의 출력율로부터 예상될 수 없고, 그것들만의 독립적인 관계를 가지고 있었다. 어플리케이터와 콜리메이터의 조합이 고정된 경우에 한해서 판자선의 변형조사면에 대한 출력율은 A/P로서 표시된 등가 조사면 방법에 의하여 구할 수 있다.

개인정보 규제요인과 빅데이터 활용간의 관계에서 가명정보 결합의 매개효과 및 조절효과 (The Mediating Effect and Moderating Effect of Pseudonymized Information Combination in the Relationship Between Regulation Factors of Personal Information and Big Data Utilization)

  • 최근 빅데이터 활용의 영향요인으로 개인정보 규제요인과 가명정보 결합이 핵심 정책수단으로 등장하고 있다. 본 연구는 개인정보 규제요인과 빅데이터 활용의 관계에서 제3의 변수로서 가명정보 결합의 매개효과 및 조절효과를 실증분석하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 개인정보 규제요인 중 개인정보 정의, 개인정보 동의, 법령위반 처벌강도 요인이, 그리고 가명정보 결합요인 중 결합 비식별성, 결합 가명정보 표준화, 결합 책임성이 빅데이터의 활용에 정(+)의 유의한 관계를 보였다. 둘째, 가명정보 결합 요인 중 결합 비식별성, 결합 가명정보 표준화, 결합 책임성이 개인정보 규제요인과 빅데이터 활용과의 관계에서 정(+)의 매개효과를 보였다. 셋째, 개인정보 규제요인과 빅데이터 활용과의 관계에서 가명정보 결합기관 유형인 자유형, 중개형, 지정형의 순서에 따라 조절효과가 다를 것이라는 가설은 기각되었다. 이상의 분석결과를 기반으로 개인정보 보호와 빅데이터 활용이 조화를 이루는 '착한규제'의 정책대안을 제시하였다.
