Recognition Type of Message Expressed on Fashion -Focusing on 20's Women-

  • 본 연구에서는 문자가 적용된 의복 및 패션제품을 많이 착용하는 20대 여성을 대상으로 의복에 표현된 메시지에 대한 인식유형을 분석해보고자 하였다. 20대 여성이 패션에 표현된 문자를 어떻게 유형화하는지에 대한 주관적인 평가와 유형별 특성을 고찰하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 Q 방법론으로 진행되었으며, 분석에는 QUANL pc program을 활용하였다. 제1유형은 문자는 하나의 디자인 요소이고 패션이라고 생각하고 의복에 표현된 문자가 이미지로 인식되었다. 제2유형은 의복에 표현된 문자가 메시지로 인식되며, 문자가 사회적 메시지와 시사성을 가지고 있는 것이 중요하다고 생각하였다. 제3유형은 문자가 캐주얼 의상에 접목되는 것을 선호하고 문자의 조형성을 중요시하였다. 제4유형은 문자가 브랜드를 나타내 주는 것을 선호하고 보이는 위치에 크게 배치되는 것을 좋아하였다. 향후 다양한 연령층과 성별에 따른 추가적인 연구와 글자체, 컬러, 문장의 길이 등에 따른 차이를 파악하기 위한 세부적인 연구가 이루어져야 할 것으로 생각된다.

DO 센서와 라즈베리파이 카메라를 활용한 아두이노와 OpenCV기반의 이동식 녹조제거장치에 관한 연구 (A Study on Portable Green-algae Remover Device based on Arduino and OpenCV using Do Sensor and Raspberry Pi Camera)

  • 본 논문에서는 라즈베리파이 카메라와 DO(Dissolved Oxygen)센서를 사용하여 수중에 존재하는 녹조를 인식하고 녹조를 제거하는 기능을 갖는 녹조제거장치를 구현하였다. 라즈베리파이 보드는 카메라로부터 취득한 RGB 값을 HSV로 변환하여 녹조의 색을 인식한다. 이를 통해 녹조의 위치를 파악하고, DO 센서를 활용해 해당 위치의 용존산소량의 감소량이 기준치 이상일 경우 녹조제거장치가 녹조 제거 용액을 살포하도록 구동한다. 라즈베리파이의 카메라는 OpenCV를 활용하였고, 모터의 움직임은 DO 센서의 출력값과 카메라의 녹조인식 결과에 따라 제어한다. 녹조인식 및 녹조제거용액의 살포 기능은 아두이노와 라즈베리파이를 통해 구현되었으며 실험을 통해 제안한 이동식 녹조제거장치의 타당성을 검증하였다.

이천시 주민의 게걸무에 대한 인지도 및 계승 ${\cdot}$ 발전에 대한 인식 (Recognition and Perception on Ge-Geol Radish in Icheon Area)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the recognition and the perception for succession and development on Ge-Geol radish that has been grown in Icheon area. A total of 385 (male 118, female 267) aged over 20 years who lived in Icheon area were investigated from May to June 2006. Seventy five percent of the total subjects were recognized Ge-Geol radish, and only the 40.8% of them were recognized as regional special agriproduct exactly. And the rate of the subjects who had experience to eat Ge-Geol radish was just 40.8%. While preferences on Ge-Geol radish were relatively high among the subjects who have experience to eat. Reasons for liking were 'distinctive (43.8%)', 'eat from a child (24.5%)', 'tasty (15.1%)', and 'nutritious(8.3%)'. Reasons for disliking were 'rough texture (54.8%)', 'tasteless (9.7%)', 'unique smell (9.7%)', 'undesirable color (6.5%)', and 'indistinctive (6.5%)'. Also, most of the subjects considered the need for the succession and the development of Ge-Geol radish. Therefore, for expanding utilization of Ge-Geol radish, it should be contacted easily from a child and be developed as products suited to the consumer's needs by various cooking and processing methods.

Efficient Sign Language Recognition and Classification Using African Buffalo Optimization Using Support Vector Machine System

  • Communication with the deaf has always been crucial. Deaf and hard-of-hearing persons can now express their thoughts and opinions to teachers through sign language, which has become a universal language and a very effective tool. This helps to improve their education. This facilitates and simplifies the referral procedure between them and the teachers. There are various bodily movements used in sign language, including those of arms, legs, and face. Pure expressiveness, proximity, and shared interests are examples of nonverbal physical communication that is distinct from gestures that convey a particular message. The meanings of gestures vary depending on your social or cultural background and are quite unique. Sign language prediction recognition is a highly popular and Research is ongoing in this area, and the SVM has shown value. Research in a number of fields where SVMs struggle has encouraged the development of numerous applications, such as SVM for enormous data sets, SVM for multi-classification, and SVM for unbalanced data sets.Without a precise diagnosis of the signs, right control measures cannot be applied when they are needed. One of the methods that is frequently utilized for the identification and categorization of sign languages is image processing. African Buffalo Optimization using Support Vector Machine (ABO+SVM) classification technology is used in this work to help identify and categorize peoples' sign languages. Segmentation by K-means clustering is used to first identify the sign region, after which color and texture features are extracted. The accuracy, sensitivity, Precision, specificity, and F1-score of the proposed system African Buffalo Optimization using Support Vector Machine (ABOSVM) are validated against the existing classifiers SVM, CNN, and PSO+ANN.

성인 남자의 수트 구매 실태 조사 (A Study of the Suit Buying Conditions for Men)

  • The purpose of this research was to offer basic data for study of men's suits by investigating the buying conditions of men's suits. For data collection, a questionnaire was composed of a purchasing price, a purchasing place, the source of the information, the reason of the suit buying, a standard for choice, recognition of the ready-made suit's size and a number of suits they buy etc. The subjects of this research were male who aged 20∼59 and resided in Seoul and the capital region. The results of the research were summarized as the following : 1. Most of the men purchased a ready-made suit rather than a custom suit and a easy-order suit because of the convenience for buying. But the elder was tend to purchase a custom suit than the younger. And the reason of custom suit or easy-order suit buying was size for fitness. 2. It was usually done in a department store and an agency as a purchasing place. The men who resided in Seoul used a department store more than ones who resided in the capital region. Most of the men used bargain sale. The source of the information of suits came principally himself and a wife. Most of the men purchased the suits with their wives of themselves. The elder depended upon their wives for buying suit than the younger. The standards for buying the ready-made suit were color, style and price. The number of suit they buy in a year was 0.9 suits for S/F, 0.7 suits for winter, 0.4 suits for summer and 0.2 suits for combination. The main purchasing price was 150,000∼250,000 won. 3. Most of the consummer was to be satisfied a sense of wearing, color, design etc, but they ware not to be satisfied price, A/S, size etc for ready-made suits. And they usually didn't know the size of ready-made suits.

디자인 선호도 조사에 의한 양말 디자인 개발 (Socks Design Development Based on Design Preferences Research)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop high-valued added socks by utilizing consumer design preference research in design. The study was performed by investigating literatures including previous studies, and researching the recognition and design preference of consumers. As a final step, socks designs were developed to reflect the results of the research. Gender differences have been found in the choice of socks. Women put more importance to the design, color and trend and prefer geometric, animals and plants patterns, and unique images compared to men. In terms of fashion interest level, 'high' group preferred design, color, and trend than 'middle' and 'low' group, and also preferred geometric, abstract patterns. Women's and unisex socks were designed for people in their 20s, the age group with the highest level of interest in fashion, after taking results of the consumer design preference research into account. Main themes for the lady's socks are 'Soft Shape' and 'Line Composition' in order to express delicate, soft sensibility. For the unisex socks, 'Daydreamer' and 'Free Zone' are the themes used to express young energy and the sense of freedom. 12 styles were developed by creating 3 styles per theme using Photoshop CS5 and Illustrator CS5 programs. As a result, it is confirmed that design strategies in segmented market are necessary for the high-valued added products. Also, the understanding of changes in consumer's tastes and needs through regular market research is needed for the competitive socks design planning.

Decoding Brain Patterns for Colored and Grayscale Images using Multivariate Pattern Analysis

  • Taxonomy of human brain activity is a complicated rather challenging procedure. Due to its multifaceted aspects, including experiment design, stimuli selection and presentation of images other than feature extraction and selection techniques, foster its challenging nature. Although, researchers have focused various methods to create taxonomy of human brain activity, however use of multivariate pattern analysis (MVPA) for image recognition to catalog the human brain activities is scarce. Moreover, experiment design is a complex procedure and selection of image type, color and order is challenging too. Thus, this research bridge the gap by using MVPA to create taxonomy of human brain activity for different categories of images, both colored and gray scale. In this regard, experiment is conducted through EEG testing technique, with feature extraction, selection and classification approaches to collect data from prequalified criteria of 25 graduates of University Technology PETRONAS (UTP). These participants are shown both colored and gray scale images to record accuracy and reaction time. The results showed that colored images produces better end result in terms of accuracy and response time using wavelet transform, t-test and support vector machine. This research resulted that MVPA is a better approach for the analysis of EEG data as more useful information can be extracted from the brain using colored images. This research discusses a detail behavior of human brain based on the color and gray scale images for the specific and unique task. This research contributes to further improve the decoding of human brain with increased accuracy. Besides, such experiment settings can be implemented and contribute to other areas of medical, military, business, lie detection and many others.

PSPC 적용을 위한 모서리 밀링 자동화 시스템 개발 (Development of Edge Milling Automation System for PSPC Application)

  • 국제 해사 기구의 선체 보호 도장 기준이 의무화됨에 따라 조선소에서는 칼라 플레이트의 모서리 부분에 대해 2R 또는 3-pass 밀링 가공을 수행해야 한다. 그러나 기존 수작업 방식에 의존하고 있는 상황에서 2R 또는 3-pass 밀링 가공을 수행한다면 작업 환경 및 생산성 측면에서 많은 문제점이 발생할 것으로 예상된다. 따라서 규정을 만족할 수 있는 모서리 밀링 자동화 시스템을 개발하여 이러한 문제점을 해결할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 표준 칼라 플레이트를 대상으로 모서리 밀링 자동화 시스템 기본 설계를 수행하였고, 형상 인식 및 가공 경로 생성 알고리즘을 적용하여 가공 프로세스를 정립하였다. 또한, 운영 소프트웨어를 구축하고, 전용 가공 툴을 제작하여 밀링 테스트를 수행한 결과를 토대로 적합한 밀링 가공조건을 도출하였다. 향후, 본 연구를 통해 개발된 모서리 밀링 자동화 시스템을 조선소에 도입하여 현장 테스트를 수행하고, 그 결과를 토대로 상용화 연구를 진행한다면 선체 보호 도장 기준을 충족할 수 있는 자동화 시스템을 구축함과 동시에 생산성 향상을 기대할 수 있다.

칼라 히스토그램과 변형된 샤프닝 필터를 이용한 개선된 그랩컷 알고리즘에 관한 융합 기술 연구 (A Study on the Convergence Technique enhanced GrabCut Algorithm Using Color Histogram and modified Sharpening filter)

  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 그랩컷 알고리즘을 이용한 객체 검출의 정확도를 향상시키기 위하여 샤프닝 필터를 이용한 영상의 화질을 개선하는 방법을 제안한다. 그랩컷 알고리즘은 사각 윈도우 범위 내에서 객체 추출에 뛰어난 성능을 보이지만, 객체와 배경의 구분이 뚜렷하지 않은 영상에서는 성능이 떨어지는 단점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 히스토그램 평활화를 통해 밝기 및 선명도를 보강하고, 샤프닝 필터를 이용하여 객체의 경계를 강화하여 기존의 그랩컷 알고리즘보다 객체와 배경의 색상이 비슷한 영상에서 향상된 객체 추출 결과를 보인다. 개선된 그랩컷 알고리즘을 토대로 문자인식, 실시간 객체추적 등 영상처리 융합 기술에서 향상된 결과를 얻을 수 있다.

옷감 구매행동에 있어서 지각된 위험 (perceived Risk)의 역할에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Relationships between Purchasing Behavior of Textile and Perceived Risk.)

  • The main problem of consumer behavior is choice since the outcome of me of a choice can only be known in the future, consumers are forced to deal with the risks of und\certainty. So, perception of risk is pivotal aspect of consumer behavior. This study was designed to investigate the relationships between purchasing behavior of textile and perceived risk. Data were obtained from 276 housewives. ANOVA, x2-test were employed to analyse the data. The result were : 1. general features of textile purchase behavior are as follows. Blend wools and pure wool products are prefered. Fall is the major season in purchasing textile. Wholesalers, department stores and agent stores are prefered. Purchasing decision making process independent upon not only textile itself but the practice value of the textile. Purchasing textile, married young women depend on outward shape of the textile, middle and old aged groups depend on the economic value of the textile and the credibility of the stores. 2. Perception of risk is relatively high in the preference of store, color/design, and psycological uncertainty. But the perceived risks is relatively low in brand, price and social credibility. 3. There is significant relationship between the recognition rate of risk and the sensitiveness of the consumer. In addition, there are strong relationship between the risk rate and the preference of shop, brand, and price. On the other hand, there are no significant relationship between the color, design, and sociopsyco-logical risk and demographic variables. 4. The perceived risk of consumer would be a key stone to grasp the consumer behavior. The product company needs to provide full information which could reduce the perceived risk of consumer. there attitude would help for the mutual interests. In the future research, we need to develop the precise methods for finding variables on the perceived risk during the process of making purchase intention.
