Average pressure in a pipe network is one of critical factors to estimate the flow distribution and to calculate UARL (Unavoidable Annual Real Losses) value in ILI (Infrastructure Leakage Index). While its collection period and measuring location are essential to obtain average pressure, their standard method have not been established so far. In this study, proper method including its procedure for data collection period and measuring point for average pressure were suggested using non-exceedance probability concept in the water distribution network.
In this study, quantity and quality of collected rainwater by the ground collection system were investigated and the Rainwater Collection Prediction Model was developed to predict the amount of collected rainwater. The quantity of collected rainwater in the collection system was 9516 L(38.2%) and the quantity of infiltrated rainwater in the collection system was 9946 L(40.2%) through $25m^2$ area for the study period, respectively. Average turbidity of collected rainwater in collection system was 2.2 NTU, and average turbidity of infiltrated rainwater in collection system was 2.3 NTU for study period, respectively. The predicted amount by the model and the actual collected amount were 9842.4 L and 9516 L, which were very close showing that prediction was excellent. The optimal rainwater storage tank volume was simulated with a certain consumption condition for various cities with different rainfall patterns.
Objectives: The aim of this study is to investigate the differences in airborne TDI concentrations based on the filter collection method and liquid collection method and to compare airborne TDIs concentrations by sampling method change when using the filter collection method in the spray-painting process. Methods: For the sample measurement, the filter collection method(OSHA#42) and liquid collection method(NIOSH#5522) were used; for the sampling method, the full-period single sampling and full-period consecutive sampling methods were used. The samples were collected in spray-painting and drying process locations. Results: In all samples collected from the spray-painting and drying process locations through the filter collection and liquid collection methods, greater amounts of 2,6-TDI than 2,4-TDI were detected. When the TDI collection concentrations based on the sampling methods were compared, the concentrations of 2,4-TDI and 2,6-TDI collected by the consecutive sampling method were higher than the concentrations of 2,4-TDI and 2,6-TDI collected by the single sampling method for both the filter collection method and liquid collection method used in the spray-painting process. These differences were statistically significant. Conclusions: When TDI collection concentrations based on the sample measurement methods were compared, the concentration of 2,4-TDI and 2,6-TDI collected through the liquid collection method were higher than the concentrations of 2,4-TDI and 2,6-TDI collected by the filter collection method, and the differences were statistically significant. In the drying process, no difference was shown in the collection concentrations of 2,4-TDI and 2,6-TDI with the two measurement methods.
Objectives : Overlapping contents between two recently discovered Han period bamboo slats, the so-called "Beidahanjian" and the "Liushibingfang" have been identified. This study aims to present new knowledge that could be inferred from the concordance of these two texts. Methods : The most recent original texts of the medical part of the Beidahanjian and medical texts excavated from the Laoguanshan in addition to the Liushibingfang were compared with each other to determine identical parts. The meaning of these concordances was explored. Results : Identical sentences in two verses in the Beidahanjian and the Laoguanshan were identified. Conclusions : The Beidahanjian is a credible Western Han period text, of which the medical bamboo slats are likely to comprise an independent text that is a combination of ancient folk prescriptions and those of doctors.
In this study, quantity and quality of collected rainwater by sand, gravel, soil, lawn and concrete surface, as collection materials were investigated and Rainwater Collection Prediction Model was developed to predict the amount of collected rainwater. The quantity of collected rainwater in concrete surface, gravel, sand, soil and lawn collection system was 1,067L(93.2%), 1,006L(87.8%), 902L(78.8%), 800L(69.9%), 788.5L(68.8%) for 8 months period, respectively. The average turbidity of collected rainwater in concrete surface, gravel, sand, soil and lawn collection system was 3.2NTU, 2.2NTU, 1.9NTU, 1.7NTU, 1.5NTU for 8 months period, respectively. For sand collection material, predicted amount by the Model and actual collected amount were 931.5L and 902L, which were very closed. For gravel collection material, predicted amount by Model and actual collected amount were 1,028.21. and 1,006L, which were very closed. To simulate the optimal rainwater storage volume, the rainfall and evaporation data in Dae-jeon city were used. For sand collection system with 30m2 area, the maximum storage volume was $17m^3$ and 62% of the year was secured for use of 240L/day.
${\ulcorner}$Classified Collection of Medical Prescriptions${\lrcorner}$(${\ulcorner}$醫方類聚${\lrcorner}$ is a medical book which classifies and edits the existing books. First of all, it is not until finishing the study of reference books that we can study the ${\ulcorner}$Classified Collection of Medical Prescriptions${\lrcorner}$ in earnest. We did not take traditional non-systematic methods to study the reference books of ${\ulcorner}$Classified Collection of Medical Prescriptions${\lrcorner}$ systematically. We investigated the title of 'reference book's name' as a reference book and did not investigate re-reference books. The number of reference books are one hundred forty-two volumes. Most of the reference books are medical books; some books are about Taoism and Buddhism. The title of the reference books are given a name by various methods. But these methods have a lot of problems. First, the same title book misapply an alias, the original text name and an abbreviated name. Second, a chapter name misapplies reference books. Third, reference books misapplies a chapter name. Forth, the writer and book name misapplies reference books and so on. From quotation collection about ${\ulcorner}$Classified Collection of Medical Prescriptions${\lrcorner}$'s characteristic point fellows below in three kinds. First, it emphasizes medical therapy. Second, most of Song(宋) period, Geum Yuan(金 元) period of China reference books take place in here. During this period it had accepted studying theory from clinical accumulation and the result of re-clinical studies reception based on theory research, and also had accepted Geum Yuan's expansive theory. Third, by adding technical books of a professional assortment, it has raised its profession of division.
In this paper, we propose a simplified tag collection algorithm to improve the performance of ISO / IEC 18000-7, the standard of active RFID systems. In the proposed algorithm, the collection command is modified to include the result of the listening period response from the previous round. The tag, which has received the collection command, checks whether the slot to which it has responded is collided, transmits additional data to its data slot without a point-to-point read command and sleep command, and transitions to the sleep mode. The collection round in the standard consists of a series of collection commands, collection responses, read commands, read responses, and sleep commands. On the other hand, in the proposed tag collection algorithm, one collection round consists only of a collection command and a collection response. As a result of performance analysis, it can be seen that the proposed technique shows superior performance compared to the standard.
This study examines the Jukchoui and Jukchosang from the late 19th century archived at Wonkwang University Museum focusing on the order and techniques of sewing used to make them to arrive at a better understanding of the sewing methods in late Chosen period and of 'Po'(Robe), one of the most symbolic outfits in Eastern Asia. Since there is no document on the items in Wonkwang collection, I reproduced and studies them based on the 19th-century sample. The sewing methods used for these items included fine broad-stitching, saddle-stitching, blind-stitching, and hemming, and there was no lining for the robe. The items in Wonkwang collection seem to reflect the trend of the late Chosun period when various systems including that of clothing were simplified: Jukchoui and Jukchosang in the period had same design for all levels, but colors and lengths were varied to mark the status of the wearer.
This study investigates the effect of the wave form of pulse energization and dust concentration on the collection characteristics of a moving electrode electrostatic precipitator (MEEP). Under the same specific corona power, the collection efficiency of the MEEP for the lower dust concentration ($2g/m^3$) becomes higher than that for the higher concentration ($10g/m^3$). Both the collection efficiency and specific corona power increase with increasing pulse period for the same value of applied voltage. The collection efficiency of MEEP is higher than that of the conventional fixed plate electrode electrostatic precipitator.

Objective: To analyze and compare the age of data in contemporary research articles published in representative general radiology journals. Materials and Methods: We searched for articles reporting original research studies analyzing patient data that were published in the print issues of the Korean Journal of Radiology (KJR), European Radiology (ER), and Radiology in 2017. Eligible articles were reviewed to extract data collection period (time from first patient recruitment to last patient follow-up) and age of data (time between data collection end and publication). The journals were compared in terms of the proportion of articles reporting the data collection period to the level of calendar month and regarding the age of data. Results: There were 50, 492, and 254 eligible articles in KJR, ER, and Radiology, respectively. Of these, 44 (88%; 95% confidence interval [CI]: 75.8-94.8%), 359 (73%; 95% CI: 68.9-76.7%), and 211 (83.1%; 95% CI: 78-87.2%) articles, respectively, provided enough details of data collection period, revealing a significant difference between ER and Radiology (p = 0.002). The age of data was significantly greater in KJR (median age: 826 days; range: 299-2843 days) than in ER (median age: 570 days; range: 56-4742 days; p < 0.001) and Radiology (median age: 618; range: 75-4271 days; p < 0.001). Conclusion: Korean Journal of Radiology did not fall behind ER or Radiology in reporting of data collection period, but showed a significantly greater age of data than ER and Radiology, suggesting that KJR should take measures to improve the timeliness of its data.
