클러스터링 기반 사례기반추론을 이용한 웹 개인화 추천시스템 (A Web Personalized Recommender System Using Clustering-based CBR)

  • 최근, 추천시스템과 협업 필터링에 대한 연구가 학계와 업계에서 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 하지만, 제품 아이템들은 다중 값 속성을 가질 수 있음에도 불구하고, 기존의 연구들은 이러한 다중 값 속성을 반영하지 못하고 있다. 이러한 한계를 극복하기 위하여, 본 연구에서는 추천시스템을 위한 새로운 방법론을 제시하고자 한다. 제안된 방법론은 제품 아이템에 대한 클러스터링 기법에 기반하여 다중 값 속성을 팔용하며, 정확한 추천을 위하여 협업 필터링을 적용한다. 즉, 사용자간의 상관관계만이 아니라 아이템간의 상관관계를 고려하기 위하여, 사용자 클러스터링에 기반한 사례기반추론과 아이템 속성 클러스터링에 기반한 사례기반추론 모두가 협업 필터링에 적용되는 것이다. 다중 값 속성에 기반하여 아이템을 클러스터링 함으로써, 아이템의 특징이 명확하게 식별될 수 있다. MovieLens 데이터를 이용하여 실험을 하였으며, 제안된 방법론이 기존 방법론의 성능을 능가한다는 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

한양방 협진 병원 종사자의 한의학 지식정도 및 교육요구도 평가 (The Evaluation of the Knowledge and Educational Requirement Levels of Oriental Medicine of Medical Staff Working in Oriental-Western Collaborative Medicine Hospitals)

  • This study investigated the Oriental medicine knowledge and educational requirement of medical staff working in Oriental-Western collaborative medicine hospitals(except for Oriental and Western medicine doctors) based on the recognition that not only mutual understanding and cooperation between Oriental and Western medicine doctors but also the knowledge of Oriental medicine of medical support staff such as nurses, medical technologists, pharmacists and administrative staff are very important to promote Oriental-Western collaborative medical treatment. The study results are summarized as follows : First, it was found that the ratio of nurses who took Oriental medicine education was much higher than those of other groups. They took Oriental medicine education in the types of school curriculum (27.0%) and special lectures in workplace(20.4%). Second, many of the people who took Oriental medicine education were found to be not satisfied with the education in general - 32.7% of them answered the education content was "so so" and 48.4% of them answered "unsatisfactory." Third, the general necessity of Oriental medicine education was found to be an average of 3.60 out of 5, and the number was higher "after employment"(average=3.85) than "before employment"(average=3.04). Fourth, the study found that Oriental-Western collaborative medicine hospital staff are well aware of the necessity of the knowledge of Oriental medicine in the cases of communications between different occupational types, consultations with patients or their guardians, treatment and nursing and the establishment of the practice of specialized Oriental medicine institutes. Fifth, the levels of Oriental medicine knowledge showed a difference in average value according to the role range(p<0.000), and it was found that there is an interaction effect between occupation type and role range(p<0.015).

Globalization, Family life, and the Future Research Environment in Home Economics and Human Sciences

  • This paper identifies trends in research methodology due to globalization. Context in both research and in practice and forms the key perspective for modern methodology and theory. Ecological perspectives are a necessary condition for quality global research. Human ecology researchers must advance the role of interdisciplinary and inter-functional perspectives and be open to collaborative relationships. These researchers must work in teams across disciplinary and functional boundaries. The paper discusses directions for research within the context of trends at U.S. federal agencies with applications to globalization and family life. Trends include: (a) use of diverse but rigorous methodologies; (b) recognition of the research-practice-research feedback loop;(c) primacy of context and diverse sampling; and (d) connections of research to problem solving. The terms promoted recently such as ″relationships″, ″diversity″ or ″problem-based″ are ingrained in human ecology. Key aspects for research in the next decade will be: (a) seeking diversity in sampling; (b) seeking colleagues with different perspectives; (c) incorporating meta-analysis into our work; (d) seeking meaningful results; (e) utilizing varieties of research methodologies to address our problems; and (0 understanding that practice must continually change as a function of research.

  • 의료조직 내에서의 커뮤니케이션 오류와 지연은 의료고객의 서비스 질 하락과 의료분쟁 등 심각한 문제를 야기 시키고 있다. 따라서, 최근 협업적 의료 커뮤니케이션 체계의 중요성이 크게 부각되고 있다. 의사, 환자/보호자, 간호사, 실험실들 간의 커뮤니케이션이 원활하게 이뤄질 때 고효율 저비용 서비스는 물론 궁극적으로 병원의 경영성과에도 도움이 된다. 이러한 동기에서 중소 및 대형병원에서 이 시스템 도입이 급증하는 추세이다. 본 논문에서는 유무선 기반의 협업적 의료커뮤니케이션(Clinical Collaborative Communication)시스템의 구현방법과 모델링을 통한 구현 연구 및 시스템 평가를 위해 S병원을 대상으로 계량적 평가를 수행하였다.

Collaborative Wireless Sensor Networks for Target Detection Based on the Generalized Approach to Signal Processing

  • Collaboration in wireless sensor networks must be fault-tolerant due to the harsh environmental conditions in which such networks can be deployed. This paper focuses on finding signal processing algorithms for collaborative target detection based on the generalized approach to signal processing in the presence of noise that are efficient in terms of communication cost, precision, accuracy, and number of faulty sensors tolerable in the wireless sensor network. Two algorithms, namely, value fusion and decision fusion constructed according to the generalized approach to signal processing in the presence of noise, are identified first. When comparing their performance and communication overhead, decision fusion is found to become superior to value fusion as the ratio of faulty sensors to fault free sensors increases. The use of the generalized approach to signal processing in the presence of noise under designing value and decision fusion algorithms in wireless sensor networks allows us to obtain the same performance, but at low values of signal energy, as under the employment of universally adopted signal processing algorithms widely used in practice.

임상실습이 치위생 전공학생의 전문직 정체성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of clinical practice of dental hygiene students on professional identity)

  • Objectives : This study aimed to get the data necessary for dental hygiene students to perceive the need for establishing a professional identity as dental hygienists and developing a program which reinforce pride as a preliminary professional. Methods : The subjects were 695 dental hygiene students in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Chungcheong areas. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS program. Results : 1. The professional identity of dental hygiene students was 3.02 points, and the satisfaction with institutes for practice was 2.96 points. 2. The higher the satisfaction with the major was, the higher the identity was. Also, the identity was high when the frequency of clinical practice was 1 (3.11 points) and when they selected their major which corresponds with his aptitude (3.20 points). 3. The satisfaction with clinical practice was high when they didn't have any experience in dental clinic before clinical practice and when the satisfaction with the major was high. 4. Regarding the correlation between the professional identity and the satisfaction with clinical practice, the higher the satisfaction with clinical practice, the higher the professional identity. 5. The effective variables regarding the professional identity were satisfaction with a major, satisfaction with clinical practice, and frequency of clinical practice. Conclusions : The professional identity of students may be established through school education involving clinical practice. The identity of students may affect the occupational satisfaction, the identity and the work efficiency of dental hygienists in the future. Thus, it is deemed necessary to have a continued collaborative relationship between a school and an institute for clinical practice so that students may establish their correct views and identity.

Applying Theory Informed Global Trends in a Collaborative Model for Organizational Evidence-based Healthcare

  • Getting evidence in to practice tends to focus on strategies, theories and studies that aim to close the gap between research knowledge and clinical practice. The evidence to practice gap is more about systems than individual clinician decision making. The absence of evidence for administration and management in the organization of healthcare is persistent. Teaching nurses and providing evidence as the solution to evidence-based healthcare is no longer axiomatic. Previous studies have concluded that unit level strategies integrate multi-professional teams with organizational needs and priorities. This 'best fit' approach that characterizes how healthcare is structured and delivered. The published literature shows that increased readiness for change is aligned with integrated approaches informed by conceptual models. The Joanna Briggs Collaboration is the largest global collaboration to integrate evidence within a theory informed model that brings together academic centres, hospitals and health systems for evidence synthesis, transfer and implementation. The best approaches to implementation are tailored to local culture and context, benchmark against international evidence, combine a theory informed model and stakeholder perspectives to improve the structure and processes of health care policy and practice.

간호대학생의 지역사회간호학실습경험 (Learning Experience of Nursing Students on Community Health Nursing Clinical Placements)

  • Purpose: In this study undergraduate nursing students' experiences of learning in community health nursing clinical placements was explored on order to develop a more effective practice teaching method. Methods: Focus group interviews (FGI) were held with 11 nursing students in junior or senior year. The interviews were audio-taped semi-structured interviews and were analyzed using content analysis. Results: Nursing students felt that the education system for practice was incomplete in considering the nursing that was needed for their on-site practice. Also they were aware of the totality of the community and voluntarily tried to provide for the expansion of knowledge. Conclusion: Findings indicate a need to establish a cooperative plan between nursing schools and practice agencies and collaborative development in the community health nursing practice guidelines.

  • The telemedicine & distance education system that this paper suggests has been designed on the CTE(Collaborative Telemedicine & distance Education) framework, which is an integrated multimedia environment. This is a CBM-based collaborative telemedicine & distance education type, different from the conventional doctor based general practice, and is an integrated multimedia telemedicine & distance education system capable of many application developments using information super highway. This paper presents the content regarding electronic medical examination chart and data treatment for efficient medical examination and prompt treatment by realizing mutual conversation type remote medical examination system among 3 parties(patient, doctor, pharmacist) on internet base. And, The implementation of this new teaming system should be designed with multimedia application development platform base which is interfaced with computer engineering, computer network technology, CSCW (Computer-Supported Cooperative Work) technology, and education engineering.

The Benefits and Challenges of Interprofessional Education Assessment for Health Care Professionals

  • Interprofessional education (IPE) fosters effective team-based collaborative practice among members of different health care professions to advance high-quality and safe patient care. Although the importance of IPE has been recognized and IPE initiatives have expanded rapidly in the past decades, substantial difficulties in IPE assessment still exist. At present, a lack of consensus on the optimal approach to IPE assessment contributes to uncertainty about the level of attainment of collaborative team performance. This paper aims to provide an overview of the benefits and current challenges associated with IPE assessment. Furthermore, a multifactor model with an assessment matrix and assessment blueprints from a recent study is briefly discussed. We also provide examples of assessment blueprints for the team management of stroke patient discharge covering a competency examination at the levels of individuals, the team, and the task.
