차체용 1.2GPa급 합금화아연도금 TRIP강의 용접성에 미치는 Weldbond 공정의 효과 (Effect of Weldbond Process on the Weldability of 1.2GPa Grade Galvannealed TRIP Steel for Car Body Manufacturing)

  • Galvannealed(GA) steels are now generally used in car body manufacturing for corrosion resistance. In this study, the weldability and joint mechanical behavior of a newly developed 1.2GPa grade GA ultra high strength TRIP(transformation induced plasticity) steel was investigated for three joining processes, such as adhesive bonding, resistance spot welding and weldbonding. Under both shear and peel stress conditions, the failure mode of the adhesive joints were the mixture of the adhesive cohesive failure, adhesive interface failure and coating layer failure. It means that the adhesion strength of GA coating onto the base metal was similar to that of adhesive bonding onto the GA coating. Under the shear stress condition, the weldbonding exerted to expand the optimal spot welding condition of 1.2GPa GA TRIP steel because the strength of adhesive bond overwhelmed that of the resistance spot weld. Under the peel stress condition, the weldbonding also exerted to expand the optimal spot welding condition of 1.2GPa GA TRIP steel by inducing the tear fracture mode rather than the partial plug fracture mode.

초기재령 콘크리트의 파괴 특성 (Fracture Characteristics of Concrete at Early Ages)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 유효탄성균열모델과 점성균열모델의 개념에 기초한 임계응력확대계수, 임계균열단개구변위와 파괴에너지, 이선형 연화 곡선같은 콘크리트의 파괴특성들을 초기재령 콘크리트에 관해 구명하는 것이다. 이를 위해 모드 I의 파괴를 일으킬 수 있는 쐐기쪼갬시험이 노치가 있는 육각형의 쐐기 시험체에 대하여 수행되었다. 강도와 재령의 변화에 따라 하중-균열입구변위 곡선이 얻어졌으며, 이것은 선형탄성 파괴역학과 유한요소법에 의해 분석되었다. 실험 결과를 분석한 결과, 재령 1일부터 재령 28일까지의 임계응력확대계수와 파괴에너지는 증가하였으며, 임계균열단개구변위는 감소하였다. 또한 수치해석을 통하여 재령 1일부터 재령 28일까지의 이선형 연화 곡선의 네 파라미터를 구할 수 있었다. 이렇게 얻어진 초개재령 콘크리트의 파괴특성치와 이선형 연화 곡선은 초기재령 콘크리트의 파괴 기준과 유한요소해석시의 입력 상수로서 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

Experimental study on the shear failure model for concrete under compression-shear loading

  • The influence of normal stress perpendicular to the potential shear plane was always neglected in existing researches, which may lead to a serious deviation of the shear strength of concrete members in practice designs and numerical analyses. In this study, a series of experimental studies are carried out in this paper, which serves to investigate the shear behavior of concrete under compression shear loading. Based on the test results, a three-phase shear failure model for cohesive elements are developed, which is able to take into consideration the influence of normal stress on the shear strength of concrete. To identify the accuracy and applicability of the proposed model, numerical models of a double-noted concrete plate are developed and compared with experimental results. Results show that the proposed constitutive model is able to take into consideration the influence of normal stress on the shear strength of concrete materials, and is effective and accurate for describing the complex fracture of concrete, especially the failure modes under compression shear loadings.

암반 불연속면이 동적 전단응력파에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Rock Discontinuities on Dynamic Shear Stress Wave)

  • 본 논문은 암반에 형성되어 있는 불연속면이 지진 또는 발파에 의해 유발되어 암반을 통해 전달되는 동적 전단응력파에 미치는 영향에 대해서 수치해석적 매개변수 연구를 통해 조사하고 그 결과를 제시하는 것이다. 수치해석적 매개변수 연구를 수행하기 위해서 먼저 이론적 해를 얻을 수 있는 조건에 대해서 타당성해석을 수행하고 그 결과를 이론해와 비교한 후 암반조건 및 불연속면 조건을 달리한 경우에 대해서 매개변수해석을 수행하였다. 암반조건으로는 암반 초기 현장응력 상태가 고려되었으며 불연속면조건으로서는 불연속면의 전단강도 정수인 마찰각과 점착력이 고려되었다. 또한 불연속면의 경사각 또한 매개변수로서 고려되었다. 이와 같은 다양한 조건의 매개변수연구를 통해 전단응력파의 변화를 파악한 결과, 매질을 통해 전달되는 동적 전단응력파는 암반의 초기 현장응력조건 뿐만 아니라 불연속면의 전단강도 및 경사각 조건에 크게 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 지진 또는 발파유발 동적하중이 절리형성 암반지층이나 서로 다른 지층으로 이루어진 토사지층을 통과할 때, 지층의 초기응력 상태와 더불어 불연속면 또는 지층경계면의 특성 등을 반드시 고려하여 주변시설물 및 구조물에 대한 동적영향을 파악해야 할 것으로 판단된다.

EFDC를 이용한 군산항의 유사 퇴적고 계산에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Sediment Deposition Height Computation at Gunsan Port Using EFDC)

  • 본 논문은 군산항의 유사퇴적 현상을 정량적으로 파악하고 그에 합리적인 대책을 마련하는데 활용하기 위해, 잘 알려진 EFDC 3차원 유사이송모형을 기초로 군산항의 퇴적고를 효율적으로 계산하기 위한 EFDC KUNSAN_SEDTRAN MODEL(2012)의 적용성에 대해 고찰하였다. 본 모형은 금강하구수리현상변화조사 보고서(Gunsan Regional Maritime Affairs and Port Office, 2004)의 여러 현장 관측치를 가지고 검정 및 검증을 수행했다. 검정 및 문헌조사를 통해, 본 모형의 점착성토사 침강속도(WS, Settling velocity), 퇴적한계전단응력(TD, Critical deposition stress), 기준침식률(RSE, Reference surface erosion rate), 침식한계전단응력(TE, Critical erosion stress)은 각각 2.2E-04m/s, 0.20 $N/m^2$, $0.003g/s{\cdot}m^2$, 0.40 $N/m^2$으로 확인되었다. 그리고 모형의 적용성을 검토하기 위해, 군산항의 13정점의 퇴적고(71일) 및 내항과 외항 정점의 부유사농도(15일)의 모형 계산치와 현장 관측치를 비교 검토했다. 그 결과 퇴적고 계산을 위한 모형의 적용성은 NSE계수가 0.86, 부유사농도 시간평균 상대오차(RE)가 23%로 평가되었다.

병원종사자의 직업성 스트레스에 관한 연구 - 서울시내 500병상 이상 병원종사자를 중심으로 - (Occupational Stress of Hospital Workers)

  • The purpose of this thesis is to study theoretical access to the methods that have been used for the research of occupational stress, thereby providing management methods of occupational stress of hospital workers. With a stress model of hospital workers set up from the viewpoint of organization management, 929 sets of questionnaires were collected from intern doctors, resident doctors, nurses, nursing aides, pharmacists, medical technicians, workers in patient affairs(reception and medical insurance workers), administrators and clerks from the 8 hospitals in Seoul with more than 500 beds. Upon variance analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis of the collected questionnaires, this work examined how differences in stress caused by specific occupations and formulated a method of stress management for the hospital workers. The results are as follows. 1) If some duties of the nurses suffering from role-overloaded stress are transferred to the nursing aides dissatisfied with insufficient role, the two grunting groups can be satisfied at the same time. It is also necessary to transfer some jobs of the overloaded workers in patient affairs to the administrators, or the other way around. To reduce stress of conflict and ambiguity of role caused by the obscure division of roles between the workers, the role of each occupation should be delineated and the clear division of roles should be translated into action strictly according to that delineated. 2) Stress of inefficiency of organization from which the student doctors suffer can be relieved by management of participation. If they have access to the process of decision-making in general hospital affairs and consequently their understanding and the autonomy of job performance are promoted, such stress will be reduced. 3) To cope with stress of career development from which nurses, medical technicians, administrators, workers in patient affairs suffer, it is necessary to establish whether they have a chance to revive their careers, whether there are any ways of remotivation for less contributive workers, and whether they encourage each other to develope their careers. If they are given a chance to develope their careers, such stress will be relieved. 4) Pharmacists, suffering from stresses of living and personal relations, have strong cohesive power among themselves and organize a well-integrated team; thereby reducing the stress of personal relations and increasing productivity. 5) For administrators and student doctors confined to lesser social supports and for nurses and workers in patient affairs whose recognition of stress and job satisfaction are affected by social supports, emotional and informational supports for job performance help alleviate an individual's mental, and physical stress. 6) In addition to the above-mentioned stress-management methods, if an organizational coping strategy is provided according to the types of stress from the general viewpoint of the whole group of hospital workers, it would be of great help to managing stress. For example, the redesign of jobs, the management of objective, the improvement of working environment, the formation of an autonomous working group and various working plans can be set up for those who suffer from stress related to inappropriate role, while career counseling and development of career process can be provided for those dissatisfied with career development. Participation in the process of decision-making and the restructuring of the organization are needed for those who suffer from stress of malfunctioning organization, whereas creation of a supportive organizational atmosphere is desired for those who feel stressed due to personal relations. As well, such organizational coping strategies. as the increase of welfare facilities, seminars and educational programs and provision of health-promotion facilities can be provided.

Effect of Joint Reformation on Adhesive Strength of 6061 Aluminum Alloy to Polycarbonate Lap Structures

  • Adhesive-bonded joints are widely used in the industry. Recently, applications of adhesive bonding joints have been increased extensively in automobile and aircraft industry. The strength of adhesive joints is influenced by the surface roughness, adhesive shape, stress distribution, and etc. However, the magnitude of the influence has not yet been clarified because of the complexity of the phenomena. In this study, as the fundamental research of adhesive bonding joints, the effects of adhesive shape and loading speed on bonding strength properties and durability of aluminum to polycarbonate single-lap joints were studied. To evaluate the effect of adhesive shape, several modified shapes were used, and loading speeds were varied from 0.05 to 5mm/min. As a result, the load distribution showed a brittle fracture tendency. The trigonal edged single lap and bevelled lap joints showed the higher strength than the plain single lap, trigonal single lap, joggle lap and double lap joints in same adhesive area. The fractures of trigonal single lap and trigonal edged single lap joints that had the higher strength level were shown as the mixture type of the cohesive and interfacial-failure, mostly joggle lap joints that had the lower strength level were shown as the adhesive-failure.

직접 전단시험의 유한 요소 해석 (Finite Element Analysis of the Direct Shear Test)

  • 흙과 Geogrid사이의 응력 전달은 마찰저항 및 수동저항으로 나눌 수 있는데 Geogrid의 횡방향 요소에 작용하는 수동저항은 그 메카니즘이 복잡하여 아직까지 거동이 명확하게 파악되지 못하고 있다. 이러한 수동저항의 메카니즘을 이해하기 위하여 돌기가 있는 보강재에 대한 직접 전단시험을 유한 요소 방법으로 해석하였다. 유한 요소해석으로 돌기의 간격에 따라 수동저항의 크기, 파괴형태, 응력 및 변형 분포 등을 분석하였으며 일 결과들을 실제 계측치와 비교 분석하여 Geogrid의 횡방향 요소에 작용하는 보강재의 수동저항의 거동을 파악하도록 하였다. 또한 흙의 종류에 따라 수동저항의 메카니즘을 파악하기 위해 점성토에 작용하는 수동저항의 거동을 예측하였다.

Crack growth prediction and cohesive zone modeling of single crystal aluminum-a molecular dynamics study

  • Initiation of crack and its growth simulation requires accurate model of traction - separation law. Accurate modeling of traction-separation law remains always a great challenge. Atomistic simulations based prediction has great potential in arriving at accurate traction-separation law. The present paper is aimed at establishing a method to address the above problem. A method for traction-separation law prediction via utilizing atomistic simulations data has been proposed. In this direction, firstly, a simpler approach of common neighbor analysis (CNA) for the prediction of crack growth has been proposed and results have been compared with previously used approach of threshold potential energy. Next, a scheme for prediction of crack speed has been demonstrated based on the stable crack growth criteria. Also, an algorithm has been proposed that utilizes a variable relaxation time period for the computation of crack growth, accurate stress behavior, and traction-separation atomistic law. An understanding has been established for the generation of smoother traction-separation law (including the effect of free surface) from a huge amount of raw atomistic data. A new curve fit has also been proposed for predicting traction-separation data generated from the molecular dynamics simulations. The proposed traction-separation law has also been compared with the polynomial and exponential model used earlier for the prediction of traction-separation law for the bulk materials.
