On the application of artificial intelligence in acute myeloid leukemia therapy

  • This study is a randomized pretest-posttest design that aims to investigate the effect of early entrepreneurship education on cognitive and non- early entrepreneurship education, non-cognitive skills, creativity, self-efficacy, Bizworld cognitive skills of male sixth-grade primary school students. A total of 45 students were selected by multi-stage random sampling method and were assigned randomly to experimental, active-control and control groups. The experimental group received entrepreneurship education based on the Bizworld entrepreneurship program. The results indicate that early entrepreneurship education had an effect on non-cognitive skills (such as risk taking propensity, creativity, self-efficacy, persistence and need for achievement. It seems that early entrepreneurship education is a proper strategy to develop children's non-cognitive skills in late years of primary school. These skills will affect children's individual, educational, social and occupational future and can have long term benefits for students, families and society.

인지양식에 따른 인지수준과 과학탐구능력에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Cognitive Levels and the Science Process Skills Based on the Cognitive Styles)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship of the cognitive levels and the science process skills based on the cognitive styles. The subjects of the study were 5-6th grade 790 students sampled by random cluster sampling method in three schools from large cities, small cities, and rural areas respectively. The results are as follows. 1) The field independent students showed significantly higher(p< 0.001) cognitive level than the field dependent ones. 2) The field independent group showed higher formation rate of subskills of the logical thinking skills than the field dependent groups. 3) It was found out that the field independent group attained significantly higher scores of science process skills than the field dependent group in 5th and 6th grade students. 4) The more cognitive levels became higher, the more science process skills were significantly higher(p< 0.001). 5) There were significant(p<0.001) differences among the science process skills for grade levels and three regions. And that there were not significant differences in the science process skills between males and females, 6) The science process skills of the field independent and the formal operational group could be acquired better scores in the science process skills than those who belong to another combinations.

학습기술과 인지기능과의 관계 연구 (A Study on Relationship between the Learning Skills and the Cognitive Functions)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between learning skills and cognitive functions on elementary school students. In this study CAS and Learning Skills Test(LST) were administered with 3 to 6 grade, 60 students from 5 elementary schools. The data were analyzed according to Pearson's correlation and Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis. The results are as follows. Firstly, girls and older students showed significantly higher ability than boys and younger students on the learning skills. And girls significantly outperformed boys on the planning function and attention function and on the simultaneous cognitive function was the other way round. Secondly, learning skills were explained 41% by two variables that the planning function and the successive function which are sub factors of the cognitive function. And then, planning and successive processing effected to self-management, attention and planning to test-taking skills, successive processing and attention to class-participation skills, and successive processing to information processing.

Effectiveness of using Cognitive Virtual Tours based on Marzano Model to Develop the Achievement and Historical Research Skills for Secondary School Students

  • The study aimed to measure the effectiveness of using Cognitive virtual tours based on Marzano model to develop the achievement and some of historical research Skills for secondary school students. To achieve the objectives of the study, the experimental method was used and two study groups consisted of (60) students were divided into two groups, one is Control (30) students and the other is in experimental (30) students at Alsalam secondary in Ismailia Governorate. The study used several tools: The experimental processing tool of Cognitive Virtual tours based on Marzano model, Cognitive achievement test for the first unit of Secondary first grade history Course. Historical research skills. The finding of the study showed the effectiveness of using cognitive virtual tours based on Marzano model in developing the achievement and some of historical research skills for first grade secondary students which there are Statistically differences at level (0.01) between the average scores of the students in (experimental and Control) groups in post application for Cognitive achievement test. Practical application of the study can contribute to clarify how to use Cognitive virtual tours based on Marzano model in teaching history, and Draw the attention of history developers to the development of historical research skills.

생각하는 과학 프로그램이 초등학생들의 인지발달 가속과 인지과정 기능의 발달에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Thinking Science Program on the Cognitive Acceleration and Cognitive Processing Skills of the Elementary School Students)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 생각하는 과학 프로그램이 초등학교 학생들의 인지발달 가속과 인지과정 기능의 발달에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 것이었다. 이 연구에는 초등학교 5학년 305명이 참여하였으며, 연구 대상을 실험 집단과 통제집단으로 나눈 후 실험집단에게는 2년동안 생각하는 과학 프로그램을 처치하였다. 연구 결과, 생각하는 과학 프로그램에 의한 초등학생의 인지발달 가속 효과는 있었다. 그리고 성별에 따른 인지발달 가속 효과를 살펴본 결과 여학생에게만 효과가 있었다. 또한 생각하는 과학 프로그램은 초등학생의 인지과정 기능의 발달에도 효과가 있었고, 인지과정 기능 영역별로 살펴본 결과 주의와 동시적 정보처리 영역에서 효과가 있었다. 이러한 결과는 생각하는 과학 프로그램이 인지과정 기능에 대해 원전이 효과가 있음을 보여주는 것이다.

고교생의 논리적사고력과 과학탐구 기능 사이의 상관관계에 관한 연구 (Relationships between Piagetian Congnitive Modes and Integrated Science Process Skills for High School Students)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the interrelationships on integrated science process skills and Piagetian cognitive modes for high school students according to the different cognitive reasoning levels. About 509 high school students were randomly selected for the samples of this study. They were identified as concrete, transitional and formal operational stage with the scores of GALT(Group Assessment of Logical Thinking) developed by Roadrangka, Yeaney and Padilla(1982), and TIPS II(Test of Integrated Process Skills) developed by Burns, Wise and Okey(1983). The result of this study were showed that about 11.8% of the samples were in the concrete operational stage and about 24.4% of the samples were in the transitional stage, while about 63.8% of them were in the formal operational stage. It was also found that the achivement scores of the science process skills increase in accordance with the cognitive reasoning levels. The value of the correlation coefficient between science process skills and cognitive reasoning abilities was 0.49, which was significant at the 0.05 level. This finding seems to support previous research that the student's cognitive reasoning abilities appeared to have influenced student's scores of the science process skills No differences to the logical reasoning ability between male and female students according to each cognitive level were found except formal operational stage.

뇌졸중 환자의 인지적 전략개발 중심 중재가 수행기술에 미치는 효과 비교 : 무작위 비교연구 (Cognitive Strategy Intervention Affects Performance Skills of Daily Living in Individuals with Stroke: A Randomized Controlled Trial)

  • Objectives : The aim of this study was to compare a treatment focusing on the physical function to an intervention focusing on a cognitive strategy in stroke patients which improves their performance skills of daily activities. Methods : This study design was a randomized control trial selecting 43 people with stroke patients. This study consisted of a control group, which received conventional occupational therapy focusing on physical function, and an experimental group which was trained to develop a cognitive strategy by themselves. Both groups each received 10 sessions of the treatment. This study compared the skills for performing daily activities before and after the intervention and analyzed the data with SPSS Ver. 18.0. Results : This study showed a significant improvement in all performance skills in the experimental group (p<.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the performance skills before and after the intervention in the control group (p>.05). Conclusions : It was verified that stroke patients to develop a cognitive strategy by themselves is more effective than to improve the physical function in performance skills for daily activities.

초등학생의 정신용량과 인지양식에 따른 과학탐구능력 (A Study on the Science Process Skills according to Mental Capacity and Cognitive Style of Elementary Students)

  • 본 연구는 초등학생들의 정신용량과 인지양식에 따라 과학탐구능력에 차이가 있는지 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 대구시내에 소재하고 있는 초등학교의 5학년 264명을 대상으로 조사하였다. 과학탐구능력을 측정하기 위한 과학탐구능력 검사(TSPS), 정신용량을 측정하기 위한 FIT(Figural Intersection Test), 인지양식을 측정하기 위한 잠입도형검사(GEFT) 등 3가지 지필 검사를 실시하여 자료를 수집하였다. 본 연구의 결과 학생들의 정신용량이 클수록 과학탐구능력의 성취도가 높았다. 장독립적인 학생이 장의존적인 학생보다 통계적으로 유의미 (p<.05)하게 과학탐구능력의 성취도가 높았다. 그러나 과학탐구능력에 미치는 정신용량과 인지양식의 상호작용 효과는 통계적으로 유의미하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 본 연구의 결과는 정신용량과 인지양식이 과학탐구능력의 발달에 중요한 역할을 하고 있음을 시사한다. 아울러, 본 연구는 과학교육 연구에서 신피아제적 접근에 대한 가능성을 제공한다. 본 연구 결과로 볼 때, 과학 탐구과제의 수행에 인지 발달이 매우 중요한 변인임을 시사한다.

인지행동적 집단상담이 집단따돌림 피해학생의 자아존중감과 대인기술에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Cognitive-behavioral Group Counselling on the Self-esteem and Interpersonal Skills of School Bullying Victims)

  • In an attempt to help improve school bullying victims' self-esteem and interpersonal skills, this study explored the effects of a cognitive-behavioral group counselling program on the victims. The subjects of this study were six middle school female students who were identified as bullying victims by their teachers. They had T-scores of 65 or more on one or more scales in the MMPI-A. The cognitive-behavioral group counselling program was developed to improve their self-esteem and interpersonal skills and was administered twice a week from November 28 to December 30, 2005, totalling ten occasions. Major findings of the study include the following: First, there was a significant difference in self-esteem between pre- and post-tests. All the scores on six tests given on a period-by-period basis showed significant changes at the significance level of 0.1%. Secondly, there was a significant difference in interpersonal skills between pre- and post-tests at the level of 5%. All the scores on six tests given on a period-by-period basis also showed significant changes at the significance level of 0.1%. These findings demonstrate that cognitive-behavioral group counselling is effective in improving school bullying victims' self-esteem and interpersonal skills.

컴퓨터 게임이 아동의 공간인지 기술에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of computer Games on Children's Spatial Cognitive Skills)

  • This study was designed to investigated children's spatial cognitive skills as based on their practice with computer games. The sixty children were divided into 3 groups there were twenty children in experimental group 1 (the geometric game experimental group), twenty children in experimental group 2 (the arcade game experimental group), and twenty children in the control group. The sSpatial cognitive skills of the children were assessed according to by visual speed, mental rotation, and spatial visualization tasks. The rResults showed that computer game practice enhanced the children's spatial skills (visual speed, mental rotation and, spatial visualization). The c Children's mental rotation and spatial visualization showed a significant difference with the type of computer game.
