사례 기반 추론 시스템에서 적응 지식 자동 획득 모델에 관한 연구 (A Study on Adaptive Knowledge Automatic Acquisition Model from Case-Based Reasoning System)

  • In current CBR(Case-Based Reasoning) systems, the case adaptation is usually performed by rule-based method that use rules hand-coded by the system developer. So, CBR system designer faces knowledge acquisition bottleneck similar to those found in traditional expert system design. In this thesis, 1 present a model for learning method of case adaptation knowledge using case base. The feature difference of each pair of cases are noted and become the antecedent part of an adaptation rule, the differences between the solutions in the compared cases become the consequent part of the rule. However, the number of rules that can possibly be discovered using a learning algorithm is enormous. The first method for finding cases to compare uses a syntactic measure of the distance between cases. The threshold fur identification of candidates for comparison is fixed th the maximum number of differences between the target and retrived case from all retrievals. The second method is to use similarity metric since the threshold method may not be an accurate measure. I suggest the elimination method of duplicate rules. In the elimination process, a confidence value is assigned to each rule based on its frequency. The learned adaptation rules is applied in riven target Problem. The basic. process involves search for all rules that handle at least one difference followed by a combination process in which complete solutions are built.

수평자세 맞대기 TIG 초층용접에서 최적용접조건의 선정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optimal Welding Condition for Root-Pass in Horizontal Butt-Joint TIG Welding)

  • 본 연구에서는 수평 자세에서의 TIG 용접 시 반응표면법(RSM)을 이용하여, 최적의 이면비드 형상을 구하는 연구를 진행하였다. 입력변수로는 베이스 전류, 피크 전류, 용접속도를 선정하였고, 이면비드 폭을 용접품질에 관한 출력변수로 하여 목표값을 5.4 mm로 설정하였다. Box-Behnken 실험계획법에 따라 실험을 진행하였고, 비드 폭에 관한 2차 회귀모형을 구한 후, F-테스트를 이용하여 회귀모델을 검정하였다. 그리고 망목특성의 호감도 함수를 사용하여 이면비드 형상을 평가함으로써 최적화를 수행하였다. 이렇게 도출된 최적의 용접조건은 코드화된 값으로 베이스 전류; 0.9204, 피크 전류; 0.8676, 용접속도; 0.3776이었다. 검증실험 결과 목표값에 근접한 5.38 mm의 이면비드 폭을 얻을 수 있었다.

Performance Analysis of Space-time Coded MIMO System with Discrete-rate Adaptive Modulation in Ricean Fading Channels

  • The performance of a MIMO system with adaptive modulation (AM) and space-time coding over Ricean fading channels for perfect and imperfect channel state information (CSI) is presented. The fading gain value is partitioned into a number of regions by which the modulation is adapted according to the region the fading gain falls in. Under a target bit error rate (BER) constraint, the switching thresholds for AM are given. Based on these results, we derive the calculation formulae of the theoretical spectrum efficiency (SE) and average BER. As a result, closed-form SE expression and accurate BER expression are respectively obtained. Besides, using the approximation of complementary error function, a tightly closed-form approximation of average BER is also derived to simplify the calculation of accurate theoretical BER. Computer simulation shows that the theoretical SE and BER are in good agreement with the corresponding simulation, and the approximate BER is also close to the accurate one. The results show that the AM scheme in Ricean fading channel provides better SE than that in Rayleigh fading channel due to the direct-path propagation, and has performance degradation in SE and BER for imperfect CSI.

산업사진측량 기법에 의한 교랑 강박스거더 정밀측정 (Precise Measurement of the Steel Box Girder Using Industrial Photogrammetry Method)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 INCA2 카메라와 V-STARS 시스템으로 구성된 산업사진측량 시스템을 이용하여 현장 산업측정 조건에서 강박스거더의 측정을 실시하고, 그 측정 정확도를 평가하는데 있다. 실험을 위하여 코드타겟, 테이프타겟, 에지타겟 및 타겟어뎁터를 이용하였으며, 강박스 거더 부재면과 면사이의 거리, 부재와 리브간의 거리, 가조립을 위한 볼트구멍의 정확한 위치 및 부재면과 면 사이의 교차 각도 등을 측정 대상으로 하였다. 실험결과 본 연구에서 제안한 산업사진측량 기법으로 교량용 강박스 거더를 매우 정확하고, 신속하게 측정할 수 있었다.

  • The design and implementation of an engine control system has become an important area in developing a new car, but the implementation of an engine control system is becoming a tedious and time-consuming work as the level of complexity increases. In order to shorten the development cycle of the control system, rapid control prototyping (RCP) technique deserves developers' attention. A new RCP platform has been developed for an automotive engine control application. This prototyping system strictly adheres to the layered architecture of the final production ECU, and separates the automatically generated part of software, or the application area, from the hand coded area, which generally carefully designed and tested because of the hardware dependency and the efficiency of microcontroller. The $Matlab{\circledR}$ tool-chain of Mathworks Inc. has been selected as a base environment in this study. A newly developed Engine Control Toolbox of Real-Time $Workshop{\circledR}$ converts a graphically represented control algorithm into optimized application codes and links them with other parts of the software to generate executable code for the target processor.

Frame Error Concealment Using Pixel Correlation in Overlapped Motion Compensation Regions

  • In low bit-rate video transmission, the payload of a single packet can often contain a whole coded frame due to the high compression ratio in both spatial and temporal domains of most modern video coders. Thus, the loss of a single packet not only causes the loss of a whole frame, but also produces error propagation into subsequent frames. In this paper, we propose a novel whole frame error concealment algorithm which reconstructs the first of the subsequent frames instead of the current lost frame to suppress the effects of error propagation. In the proposed algorithm, we impose a constraint which uses side match distortion (SMD) and overlapped region difference (ORD) to estimate motion vectors between the target reconstructed frame and its reference frame. SMD measures the spatial smoothness connection between a block and its neighboring blocks. ORD is defined as the difference between the correlated pixels which are predicted from one reference pixel. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm effectively suppresses error propagation and significantly outperforms other conventional techniques in terms of both peak signal-to-noise ratio performance and subjective visual quality.

음향 텔레메트리 기법을 이용한 자연산과 양식산 감성돔의 행동특성 비교 (Comparison of behavior characteristics between wild and cultured black seabream Acanthopagrus schlegeli using acoustic telemetry)

  • Acoustic telemetry technique is one of useful tools to get behavioral information of the free-swimming fish. In this study, we conducted acoustic telemetry using coded acoustic transmitters to compare behavior characteristics between wild and cultured black seabream Acanthopagrus schlegeli, one of target species to promote resource in the marine ranching area. Two wild fish and five cultured fish were released in the marine ranching area after tagging surgically. Three of cultured fish were domesticated using the remote acoustic conditioning system for 3 weeks before being released. Two wild fish stayed at the released point for 2 hours and 9 days, respectively. One of wild fish was found about 10.8km away from the released point after 5 months. Two cultured fish stayed at the released point for 6 days and 75 days, respectively. One of acoustic conditioned fish stayed at the released point for 131 days and then was found about 10.1km away from the released point after 25 days. Others stayed at the released point during this study period(159 days).

Establishing the Process of Spatial Informatization Using Data from Social Network Services

  • Prior knowledge about the SNS (Social Network Services) datasets is often required to conduct valuable analysis using social media data. Understanding the characteristics of the information extracted from SNS datasets leaves much to be desired in many ways. This paper purposes on analyzing the detail of the target social network services, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube to establish the spatial informatization process to integrate social media information with existing spatial datasets. In this study, valuable information in SNS datasets have been selected and total 12,938 data have been collected in Seoul via Open API. The dataset has been geo-coded and turned into the point form. We also removed the overlapped values of the dataset to conduct spatial integration with the existing building layers. The resultant of this spatial integration process will be utilized in various industries and become a fundamental resource to further studies related to geospatial integration using social media datasets.

Simulink 기반 자동차용 모터 고성능 제어를 위한 자동코드 생성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Auto Code Generation for High Performance Motor Control using the Simulink)

  • Nowadays, embedded software development using the MATLAB/Simulink system is gradually emerging. Studies generating the parts of embedded S/W in a Rapid Prototype are presented. In this paper, a method to generate the entire embedded S/W of enhanced AC motor control is proposed. High performance motor control could not be achieved with the basic Simulink library and RAppID Toolbox library as it does not have PWM based Interrupt, an ASAC (Analog Sensing for AC Motors) function and other special functions of the Freescale MPC555x. Consequently, the required libraries for enhanced AC motor control are created by Legacy code tool, TLC (Target Language Compiler) and S-Function (System-Function) of MATLAB/ Simulink and utilized in the Rapid Prototype. Motor control performance and execution time are compared automatically to the generated-code S/W with the hand coded S/W. The IPMSM (Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) and MPC5553 board that were designed as the AC motor controller for hybrid electrical vehicle are used for the test. The performances meet the requirements and satisfactory results are acquired.

  • 컨테이너 화물의 복합운송시스템 중에서 체화현상은 항만에서 가장 심각하다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 해상과 육상의 경계선에서 체선체화 문제를 발생시키는 컨테이너 크레인의 직업효율을 향상시키는 방법을 생각할 수 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 가능한 범위에서 트롤리를 목표지점까지 빠르게 이동시키는 동시에 목표위치에서의 흔들림도 짧은 시간 내에 제어하는 문제를 다루고 있다. 제어 전략으로 설계된 구간에서 최적의 성능과 강인성이 보장되는 LQ 제어와 제약조건에서 최적화가 가능한 실수코딩 유전알고리즘을 결합한다. 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안한 제어기가 설정한 설계사양을 완벽하게 만족하는 것을 보임으로 그 유효성을 증명한다.
