국내 공동브랜드 운영현황과 활성화 전략 (Domestic co-branded operating status and activation strategies)

  • 최근 경쟁력이 약한 중소기업들은 브랜드 파워와 마케팅 능력을 강화시킬 수 있는 공동브랜드에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 본 연구에서는 국내 공동브랜드의 운영현황을 고찰하고 활성화 전략을 제시하고자 하는 목적에서 이루어졌다. 먼저, 공동브랜드 개념을 다양한 측면에서 알아보고, 공동브랜드의 장, 단점을 살펴보았다. 둘째, 공동브랜드의 유형별을 협동조합형, 기업간 연합형, 선도기업 주도형 및 민 관 합작형 공동브랜드로 구분하여 각각의 장단점을 살펴보았다. 셋째, 국내 주요 공동브랜드의 현황을 제시하였다. 넷째, 중소기업청 지원 공동브랜드의 현황을 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 연도별 지원현황을 살펴보고, 공동상표 업종별 분포 현황 및 공동브랜드 중단유형에 대해 세부적으로 살펴보았다. 끝으로 이러한 자료를 근거로 국내 공동브랜드 활성화 전략을 단기적 측면과 중장기적 측면에서 제시하였다. 본 연구결과는 향후 국내 공동브랜드 사업의 개선방안을 모색하는데 토대가 될 것으로 정부의 지원제도를 마련하는데 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.

  • 4차 산업혁명과 팬데믹은 비대면 서비스에 대한 의존도를 높이는 결정적인 계기가 되었다. 이에 본 연구는 현재 디지털 네이티브 세대를 중심으로 각광 받고 있는 숏폼 브랜디드 콘텐츠에 대해 논의함으로써 비대면 마케팅에 대한 새로운 전략 방안을 도출하고자 하였다. 특히 소셜 미디어 상에서 숏폼 브랜디드 콘텐츠를 공유하고 소통하는 사회적 시청 현상을 중심으로 노출 유형 (직접 시청 vs. 사회적 시청)이 숏폼 브랜디드 콘텐츠와 콘텐츠가 포함하고 있는 제품에 대한 태도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 검증하였다. 더불어 인지된 소속감을 매개 변인으로 제시하고, 사회적 시청 과정에서 소비자가 인지하는 소속감이 노출 유형과 소비자 태도 간의 관계에서 유의한 매개 효과를 주는지 실험을 통해 확인하였다. 연구 결과, 노출 유형은 콘텐츠와 콘텐츠가 포함하고 있는 제품에 대한 태도에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며, 또한 인지된 소속감 역시 매개 변인으로서 유의한 것으로 나타났다.

부정적인 정보가 공동브랜딩에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Influence of Negative Information on Co-Branding)

  • This study analyzed the impact of negative information on co-branding, targeting co-branding consisting of a symbolic brand and a functional brand with similar brand assets. Through attribution theory, when consumers are exposed to negative information, they will infer the cause of the negative information. As a result, it was confirmed that when co-branding with a symmetrical symbolic brand and a functional brand, negative information has different effects on co-branding depending on the type. Negative information about the quality of co-branded products had a more negative impact on consumer attitudes than negative information about the iconic brand. It was confirmed that negative information about functional brands has a smaller impact than negative information about co-branding, but has a greater impact than negative information about symbolic brands. In addition, it was confirmed that negative information about the symbolic brand had a smaller negative impact on co-branding than negative information about the quality or functionality of the co-branded product.

  • A study of the comparison of customers' satisfaction and loyalty at McDonald's two types of outlets is presented. The objective of this study is to test correlation among selection attributes, customer satisfaction and loyalty of customers patronizing two types of Mcdonald's restaurants - stand alone and co-branded, as Mcdonald's is known to be actively participating in co-branding with discount stores such as E-Mart. In order to measure customer loyalty, benchmark scores from customers showing extreme satisfaction are compared to the mean scores of total sample customers at each outlet. Meeting or exceeding benchmarking scores does not automatically bring in and create loyal customers but in doing so will certainly help build up strong customer relationship which will create additional loyalty. Marketers should be well aware that statistically significant difference do exist between these two groups of customers and should take into consideration these findings in opening up new outlets or renovating existing outlets.

Thermostable Adsorption Filter Immobilized with Super Activated Carbons by Quinoline Soluble Isotropic Pitch Binder (I-a Novel Adsorption Filter)

  • Among other filters such as light filter, wave filter, air filter, ultra filter and filter paper, a novel adsorption filter from thermostable polyester nonwoven fabrics immobilized with functional super activated carbon by means of quinoline soluble, activateable isotropic pitch binder were developed in this study. The activated carbon precursor is available in the market branded as coconut shell based activated carbon(CCS-AC) produced by Dongyang Carbon Co. Ltd. BET-surface area of this precursor was $1,355\;m^2/g$, after KOH-activation it increased over $2,970\;m^2/g$ and was named as super activated carbon. In the preliminary research, this precursor was impregnated with $PdCl_2$(0.188 wt%) $KMnO_4$(3 wt%) and redox-agent(CuCl2, 0.577 wt%) in order to promote TOF up to 100/h and Selectivity up 99% and patented as a functional AC for the ethylene adsorption. The enhancement of the isotropic pitch binder to the AC-immobilized adsorption filter was BET-surface area upgraded by $266\;m^2/g$ and promoted the Iodine- and MB-adsorption by 1.4 times, respectively and also micro pore wide ranges < $5{\AA}{\sim}30\;{\AA}$ >.

A Case Study on Partnership Types between Network Operators & Netflix: Based on Corporate Investment Model

  • We categorize partnership types between network operators and a global video streaming or over-the-top service provider, Netflix from 2011 to the first quarter 2018. The options are based on the integration of over-the-top (OTT), Netflix with pay TV and telecommunication operators in the form of carrier billing, access to over-the-top (OTT) via devices or the development of their tariff plans. Options of the Type 3, 'cooperation' or the Type 4, 'agreement' entails a kind of the technical involvement between two partners and commercial agreement. The types of partnership are evolving from one to others. Some partnerships have characteristics of more than one type. The majority of technical or service integration cooperation of Type 3 entail bundling and marketing promotion of Type 2 and Type 1. Similarly, the 'agreement' of Type 4, co-branded or white-label service initiative entail tariff or device user interface (UI) integration of the 'cooperation' of Type 3 and joint marketing initiatives of Type 1.

Development of Desk for Public Reading in Library

  • Through this study, I developed a new-styled desk for public reading in library in consideration of the characteristics of the company "KIFURS Co., Ltd." established and branded by a part of the members of the association 'Gyeonggi-Incheon Furniture Industry Cooperative', in the background of growing library-furniture market situation according to the government policy and the related participations of competitive companies. The differentially designed product was herein presented by introducing the function of office furniture and related material, by giving the existing product some improvements on the basis of the domestic and international data searching. The characteristic of the developed product is that the basic structure of the desk for public reading is easy to assemble & disassemble and also variable to be extended & modified. This basic structure is available to be mass production and to be pricewise through using aluminum. Furthermore it can be used as other library-furniture and office furniture, too. Also the luxury image was pursued by modern shape and different material, unlike the existing library-furniture.

  • 본 연구는 지방의 공동브랜드가 난립하고 있는 실정에서 보령머드의 차별성을 살리고, 원래 가지고 있던 고유성을 부각시켜서 시각적으로 이미지를 정립한 과정을 살펴보고자 한다. 공동브랜드의 가치를 높일 수 있도록 제품 이미지에 부합하고 소비자의 요구에 대응할 수 있는 디자인 방안이 제시되어야 한다. 그러나 현 시점에서 많은 공동브랜드가 유사성과 몰개성적인 난립으로 지역생산자에게 만족스러운 결과를 주지 못하는 부분이 크다. 보령머드는 이러한 점을 인식하고 보령머드의 현재 가치를 유지하면서 미래가치를 높일 수 있는 아이덴티티인 머드반지 개발과 적용을 브랜드 관리 차원에서 순차적으로 진행하고 있다. 세계인을 향한 보령머드의 약속을 상징하는 머드반지는 이미지 전달자인 보령과 이미지 수용자인 소비자 사이에 이러한 시각요소를 전달하고 있다.

Understanding Brand Image from Consumer-generated Hashtags

  • Social media has emerged as a major hub of engagement between brands and consumers in recent years, and allows user-generated content to serve as a powerful means of encouraging communication between the sides. However, it is challenging to negotiate user-generated content owing to its lack of structure and the enormous amount generated. This study focuses on the hashtag, a metadata tag that reflects customers' brand perception through social media platforms. Online users share their knowledge and impressions using a wide variety of hashtags. We examine hashtags that co-occur with particular branded hashtags on the social media platform, Instagram, to derive insights about brand perception. We apply text mining technology and network analysis to identify the perceptions of brand images among consumers on the site, where this helps distinguish among the diverse personalities of the brands. This study contributes to highlighting the value of hashtags in constructing brand personality in the context of online marketing.

A Case Study on the Influence Factors of Financial Performance of Korean Automotive Parts Cooperation Companies through Research Hypothesis

  • The aim of this research is to contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of automotive parts suppliers while departing from the dependent relationship structure, by developing and interpreting factors that affect sale, which are financial achievements, in a practical way. The research data covered 200 companies from 2013-2017. The study hypothesis was verified by dividing the hypothesis into Model1 with control variables only and Model2 with control variables in independent variables. As a result of hypothesis testing, regarding sales, only capital size showed to have an effect in Model1, while in Model2, asset size, number of employees and joint ventures with foreign companies did but the other remaining factors did not. In particular, the results showed that an increase in financial performance required 'Economies of scale', and that companies that concentrated on a small number of items, diversified products into four or more items, or owned two to four suppliers, reaped positive results in financial performance. Therefore, in addition to the selection and concentration of corporate management for production items and account management, applying strategies, like the inter-company M&A, consortiums and co-branded strategies to achieve 'Economy of scale', would highly enhance the financial performance of automotive parts suppliers.
