  • The dredge gear is dragged along the bottom of the sea to catch targeted edible bottom dwelling species. Species composition and ecological index of the catches of dredge were estimated around Gangneung coastal fishing ground by dredge with different mesh size and tooth space from July to December 2013. Eight different types of dredge including four different tooth space (24.7 mm, 29.9 mm, 34.9 mm, 40.1 mm) and four different mesh size(15.5 mm, 32.7 mm, 51.1 mm, 60.0 mm) were used in the experiment. During the experiment, total catches were collected 31 species as sipunculida 1 species, mollusca 13 species, annelida 3 species, arthropoda 8 species, echinodermata 4 species and others 2 species. The dominant genus were mollusca and echinodermata while the dominant species were Megangulus venulosus, Pseudocardium sachalinensis, Schaphechinus brevis. The richness index was ranged 1.29-1.72, evenness index was 0.6-0.65 and diversity index was 1.65-1.83 according to the tooth space and mesh size of dredge. Richness index, diversity index were high at tooth space 34.9 mm dredge and ecological index showed decreasing tendency with the increasing of mesh size of dredge. Cluster and MDS analysis, based on a Bray-Curtis and similarity matrix of fourth root transformed data of number of species and wet weight, showed division into four different groups as four different tooth space (Group A), four different mesh size Group B (51.1 mm, 60.0 mm), Group C (32.7 mm) and Group D (15.5 mm).

  • The purpose of this study was to point out the unification of the size of swimming headgear by measuring detailed measurement of head ferm and systematizes the head form. A total of 300 male and female Korean adults aged from 18 years old to 35 years old were measured through the direct measurement method. This study attempted to identify the head form of male and female adults using measurement data and the head form was classified through factor analysis and cluster analysis. (1) Based on the fact that this study especially focuses on the size of swimming headgear, factor analysis was performed far both direct measurements with hair and without hair. For the measurements with hair, seven factors were extracted. They were head thickness factor, head width factor, width of side head factor, height of back head factor, length of front head factor, circumference of front head factor, thickness of front head factor and head height factor. They explained the $70.95\%$ of the measurements. (2) The cluster analysis was executed to classify the somatotype of the korean head form on the basis of similarity. According to the cluster analysis result, the measurements with hair categorized types, 'Woman's long-hair type', 'Small type', 'Long and flat type', 'Large type'. (3) Head circumference B and Left tragion - Vertex - Right tragion circumference which are generally length and width in choosing swimming headgear size were selected as measurement items far size of swimming headgear. Direct measurements and sizes of four swimming headgear with different materials taking into account their elongation rate were also compared.

  • In PPS sampling, measure of size(MOS) is used to determine the probability of selection of sampling unit. However, some large scale surveys conducted in NSO(National Statistical Office) showed that the sampling units have the similar MOS. In such case, simple cluster sampling method instead of PPS sampling is recommended to give the interviewers a similar work load. In this paper, MSE and CV of the above two sampling methods applied to the 1997 Economically Active Population Survey sample design are compared.

  • The twenty-one individuals of Meretrix lusoria were secured from Gunsan, Shinan and Yeonggwang on the coast of the Yellow Sea and the southern sea in the Korean Peninsula, respectively. Amplification of a single COI fragment (720 bp) was imagined, and no apparent size differences were observed in amplified fragments between Meretrix lusoria and M. petechialis individuals. The size of the DNA fragments also varied excitedly, from 200 to 1,600 bp. The oligonucleotides primer BION-08 produced the least loci (a total of 17), with an average of 2.43 in the Gunsan population, in comparison to the other primers used. Remarkably, the primer BION-13 detected 42 shared loci by the three populations, major and/or minor fragments of sizes 200 bp and 400 bp, respectively, which were identical in all samples. The dendrogram gained by the seven oligonucleotides primers highlight three genetic clusters: cluster 1 (GUNSAN 01 ~ GUNSAN 07), cluster 2 (SHINAN 08 ~ SHINAN 14) and cluster 3 (YEONGGWANG 15 ~ YEONGGWANG 21). The longest genetic distance among the twenty-one Meretrix lusoria individuals that displayed significant molecular differences was between individuals GUNSAN no. 01 and SHINAN no. 14 (genetic distance = 0.574). Comparatively, individuals of SHINAN population were fairly closely related to that of YEONGGWANG population. In this study, PCR analysis has discovered significant genetic distances between two white clam population pairs (P<0.05).

  • The breast types of middle-aged women of 80A (formerly 80B) size were classified through a 3D scanned nude body. Thirty seven measurements including the radius of curvature, surface area, volume, surface length, and breast displacements were used as input variables. We extracted five main factors through the factor analysis of the measurements and classified 36 subjects into 3 clusters through the cluster analysis. As a result of the factor analysis, the size of the breast, breast sag, the curvature of the inner and the outer breast curve, the width of the breast, and the nipple direction were found as the main factors. For the results of the classification of breast types, Cluster 1 was characterized by narrow breast width and unsymmetrical under the breast curve, whereas Cluster 2 was a wide and sagged shape. Cluster 3 was classified into big breast volume and symmetrical under-breast curve. The results are useful to the product development of high quality brassieres which reflect the 3D characteristics of breast types of middle-aged women.

  • Failures would occur because of the hostile nature environment in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) which is deployed randomly. Therefore, considering faults in WSNs is essential when we design WSN. This paper classified fault model in the sensor node. Especially, this paper proposed new error correcting code scheme and fault recovery algorithm in the CH(Cluster Head) node. For the range of the small size information (<16), the parity size of the proposed code scheme has the same parity length compared with the Hamming code, and it has a benefit to generate code word very simple way. This is very essential to maintain reliability in WSN with increase power efficiency.

  • It is generally understood that clusters are the promoters of innovation and therefore, the attention of researchers has been increasingly to discern the factors driving innovation among the firms in a cluster, especially in a high-tech cluster. In this study, we identify the variables capturing the nature of a firm that possibly impact the absorptive capacity of a firm and subsequently ascertain their impact on the degree of interactions between a firm, and other firms and associated institutions within and outside a cluster, respectively. Furthermore, we probe the influence of these interactions as a whole on firm-level innovation. The study was carried out in the context of Bengaluru, which houses the densely interconnected network of innovation-intensive high-tech manufacturing firms forming a high-tech manufacturing cluster. Data were drawn from 101 high-tech manufacturing firms belonging to electronics, machine tools, electrical and pharmaceutical industries. Based on the cluster analysis and subsequent graphical analysis on each of the three profiled clusters, it was found that size and origin of a firm have significant impact on the degree of firm's interactions. In turn, higher dynamism of firms in terms of degree of interactions led to higher innovation performance.

  • An unequal clustering method in wireless sensor networks is the technique that forms the cluster of different size. This method decreases whole energy consumption by solving the hot spot problem. In this paper, I propose a layer-based dynamic unequal clustering using the unequal clustering model. This method decreases whole energy consumption and maintain that equally using optimal cluster's number and cluster head position. I also show that proposed method is better than previous clustering method at the point of network lifetime.

  • In cluster environments, most of the galaxies are found to be red and dead, but the origin of these passive galaxies is not yet clearly understood. Using a set of cosmological hydrodynamic zoom-in simulations, we study gas depletion process in and outside clusters. Our results are consistent with previous studies showing rapid stripping of a galactic cold gas reservoir during the first infall to the cluster center. Moreover, we found a fraction of galaxies that were already in the gas deficient state before reaching the cluster (i.e., pre-processed galaxies) is non-negligible. These findings lead to the idea that a complete understanding of passive galaxy population in clusters can not be achieved without a detailed understanding of gas stripping process in group size halos prior to the cluster infall.

  • The parallel computer cluster system has been known as the powerful tool to solve a complex physical phenomenon numerically. The numerical analysis of large size of Li-ion battery pack, which has a complex physical phenomenon, requires a large amount of computing time. In this study, the numerical analyses were conducted for comparing the computing efficiency between the single workstation and the parallel cluster system both with multicore CPUs'. The result shows that the parallel cluster system took the time 80 times faster than the single work station for the same battery pack model. The performance of cluster system was increased linearly with more CPU cores being increased.
