We present BVRI CCD photometry and near-infrared K photometry of the intermediate-aged open cluster NGC 7790. The reddening, E(B - V) = 0.54 $\pm$ 0.05 and the distance modulus, (m - M)o = 12.45 $\pm$ 0.10 for the cluster were determined by zero-age-main-sequence fitting and theoretical isochrone fitting using not only (V, B - V), (V, V - 1), (V, V - R) but also (V, V - K) color-magnitude diagrams. The reddening corresponded approximately to the average value derived from previous studies, while the distance modulus was found to be almost midway between the CCD photometric results of Romeo et al. (1989) and those of Mateo & Madore (1988). We have used four colors to distinguish members from field stars. The expected colors were calculated using the derived distance modulus, and were then were compared with the observed colors (B - V), (V - 1), (V - R), and (V - K). Thus, a color excess E(B - V) for each star was determined which could give the minimum difference between the calculated and observed colors. Single and binary members of the cluster were determined on the basis of the E(B - V) distribution of stars.
Through time-series BV CCD photometry of the open cluster NGC 225 region, we have detected 30 variable stars including 22 new ones. They are five ${\delta}$ Scuti-type variable stars, a slowly pulsating B star, six eclipsing binary stars and 18 semi-long periodic or slow irregular variables, respectively. We have performed multiple-frequency analysis to determine pulsation frequencies of the ${\delta}$ Scuti-type stars and a slowly pulsating B star, using the discrete Fourier transform and linear least-square fitting methods. We also have derived the periods and amplitudes of 6 eclipsing binaries and a long-period variable star from the phase fitting method, and presented the light curves of all variable stars. A slowly pulsating B star is a member of NGC 225, but ${\delta}$ Scuti-type stars are not members from the positions in the color-magnitude diagram and the radial distancies from the center of the cluster. From Dias et al. (2014, A&A, 564, 79), only three variable stars including the slowly pulsating B star are members of clusters: two are in NGC 225 and one is in Stock 24. But a variable star in Stock 24 is not a member of the cluster because of its position of color-magnitude diagarm.

This study examines the development direction of Ulsan automobile cluster and suggests strategic interventions, based on the possibility of system transformation in the open economic system. The spatial characteristics of global, national and local production and R&D networks were analyzed to investigate the conditions of Ulsan automobile cluster. And the agglomeration process of automobile industry and the capabilities accumulated in Ulsan were analyzed and alternative developmental path and policy suggestions were proposed.
We have performed deep wide-field CCD photometry of the young open cluster IC 1805 in the famous star forming region W4, and obtained photometric data for more than 91,000 stars in the field of IC 1805 based on observations with the 3.6m CFHT and the AZT-22 1.5m telescope at Maidanak Astronomical Observatory in Uzbekistan. The photometric data cover an area $43^{\prime}{\times}45^{\prime}$ which is far larger and far deeper than any other optical observations made for the cluster. In order to select the young stellar objects with mid-IR excess emission, we have performed mid-IR photometry of the cluster using the archival images obtained with the Spitzer Space Telescope IRAC and MIPS instruments. From a preliminary analysis of the data, we determined the reddening law ($R_V=3.02{\pm}0.05$), distance modulus ($V_0-M_V=11.9{\pm}0.2$), and the spatial distribution of members.

OpenDaylight is an SDN (Software Defined Networking) open source framework, which is popular in network fields recently. This paper analyzes the performance of a controller cluster architecture by focusing on distributed datastore and Raft leader election algorithm. In addition, we propose an enhanced version of Raft algorithm in order to improve the performance of distributed datastore by distributing shard leaders over controller cluster. This paper compares the conventional Raft algorithm with the proposed version of the Raft algorithm. Moreover, we compare the performance of distributed datastore according to shard roles such as leader and follower. Experimental results show that Shard leaders provide better performance than followers and Shard updating requests need to be distributed over multiple controllers. So, by using proposed version of Raft algorithm, controller performance can be improved. The details of the experiment results are cleary described.
Open clusters consisting of a co-spatial and coeval population with a similar chemical composition are a superb astrophysical test bed in both stellar and galactic astronomy. We introduce not only several scientific issues relating to these objects but also comprehensive studies of the two young open clusters Westerlund 1 and IC 1848 formed in extremely different star-forming conditions. Westerlund 1 is known as the most massive starburst cluster in the Galaxy. Located in the Scutum-Centaurus spiral arm, the cluster is relatively close to the Galactic Center. The apparent surface density is very high. On the other hand, IC 1848 is a core cluster within the large-scale star-forming region W5 lying in the Perseus arm. Unlike Westerlund 1, IC 1848 with a putatively low metallicity exhibits a low surface density. We present the fundamental parameters of those young clusters, such as reddening, distance, and age, obtained from the broadband photometric analysis. The stellar initial mass function (IMF) of the clusters is used to investigate the effects of the different star-forming conditions on the star formation activity. With the results of previous studies for several young open clusters, our preliminary results support a possibility that star formation activity may be affected by the environmental factors or the initial condition of natal clouds. In addition, we shortly discuss the age scale and spread of pre-main sequence stars to understand the formation processes of star clusters.
The main physical parameters; the cluster center, distance, radius, age, reddening, and visual absorbtion; have been re-estimated and improved for the open cluster NGC 7086. The metal abundance, galactic distances, membership richness, luminosity function, mass function, and the total mass of NGC 7086 have been examined for the first time here using Monet et al. (2003) catalog.
A deep stellar analysis is introduced for the poorly studied open cluster NGC 2509. The Near-IR database of the digital Two Micron All Sky Survey (2MASS) has been used to re-estimate and refine the fundamental parameters of the cluster, i.e. age, reddening, distance, and diameter. As well as, luminosity function, mass function, total mass, relaxation time, and mass segregation of NGC 2509 have been estimated here for the first time..
We Present a B and V band time-series CCD photometry of the Delta scuti stars, BV Cnc, BN Cnc, BU Cnc, BS Cnc, in the open cluster M44. The observation was carried out for 36 nights between February, 2020 and February 2021 with a 0.6m telescope equipped 2K CCD camera at Gyeonggi Science High School for the Gifted(GSHS). To detect pulsational frequencies, we wuse Discret Fourier Transformation(DFT) method. We have detected resonable pulsational frequencis compare to previous study.

In the present study, a parallel processing method running on a multi-core PC-Cluster is introduced to produce digital surface model (DSM) and digital terrain model (DTM) from huge airborne laser scanning data. A hybrid model using both message passing interface (MPI) and OpenMP was devised by revising a conventional MPI model which utilizes only MPI, and tested on a multi-core PC-Cluster for performance validation. In the results, the hybrid model has not shown better performances in the interpolation process to produce DSM, but the overall performance has turned out to be better by the help of reduced MPI calls. Additionally, scheduling function of OpenMP has revealed its ability to enhance the performance by controlling inequal overloads charged on cores induced by irregular distribution of airborne laser scanning data.
