Studies on the relic Po and Fabrics of the Moon Su Temple (문수사 유물 소와 직물류에 관한 연구)

  • It is studied that the typical garments of Korea Dynasty, especially focused on half-sleeved Saeng jo Po and conspicuous kinds of fabrics,. Characteristics of this Po are doubled collar, pleats, half-sleeved, a partial lining sewed in the back of an unlined coat, a breast-tie, and so on. It is that a girdle of Po had been used from the early Korea Dynasty, contrary to the general theory that a girdle of Po was the special characteristic of early Korea Dynasty in the garments history of Korea. It is that the species, it is that there are may characteristic way of patterns in the Korea Dynasty, such as turtle patterns, cloud patterns, swastika patterns. etc.

Phase dependent disk averaged spectra and light curve of the Earth as an habitable exoplanet : Ray-tracing based simulation using 3D optical earth system model

  • Previously we introduced ray-tracing based 3D optical earth system model for specular and scattering properties of all components of the system (i.e. clear-sky atmosphere, land surfaces and an ocean surface). In this study, we enhanced 3-dimensional atmospheric structure with vertical atmospheric profiles for multiple layer and cloud layers using Lambertian and Mie theory. Then the phase dependent disk averaged spectra are calculated. The main results, simulated phase dependent disk averaged spectra and light curves, are compared with the 7 bands(300~1000nm) light curves data of the Earth obtained from High Resolution Instrument(HRI) in Deep Impact spacecraft during Earth flyby in 2008. We note that the results are comparable with the observation.

  • In the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, new technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, cloud, Internet of Things, and blockchain are being developed and applied to new industries. Blockchain has the characteristics of decentralization, security, and transparency, so it can serve as a core technology for developing new growth industries. Blockchain is provided as BaaS (Blockchain as a Service), but it is not easy for users who are introducing or building blockchain to choose BaaS. In this study, we identify evaluation factors and develop a decision-making model using fuzzy theory and AHP for BaaS selection. Eventually we aim to help companies choose the best BaaS and develop and commercialize blockchain-based services by developing a new decision-making model for BaaS selection.

  • Recommender Systems have gained immense popularity due to their capability of dealing with a massive amount of information in various domains. They are considered information filtering systems that make predictions or recommendations to users based on their interests and preferences. The more recent technology, Linked Open Data (LOD), has been introduced, and a vast amount of Resource Description Framework data have been published in freely accessible datasets. These datasets are connected to form the so-called LOD cloud. The need for semantic data representation has been identified as one of the next challenges in Recommender Systems. In a LOD-enabled recommendation framework where domain awareness plays a key role, the semantic information provided in the LOD can be exploited. However, dealing with a big chunk of the data from the LOD cloud and its integration with any domain datasets remains a challenge due to various issues, such as resource constraints and broken links. This paper presents the challenges of interconnecting and extracting the DBpedia data with the MovieLens 1 Million dataset. This study demonstrates how LOD can be a vital yet rich source of content knowledge that helps recommender systems address the issues of data sparsity and insufficient content analysis. Based on the challenges, we proposed a few alternatives and solutions to some of the challenges.

  • Ship is a huge system including a variety of pipe arrangements. Pipes are installed according to the design layout, however the end poistion of pipes are not well matched owing to its measurement and construction errors. In this situation, the customized pipe fitting is frequently designed to connect with both pipes, the position of which are manually measured. This paper focused that these two coordinates are measured by point cloud from RGBD sensor and the relative transformation induced by positional and orientational differences is calculated by inverse kinematics in robotics theory. Therefore, the result applies for the methodology of the pipe connection design. The pipe coordinate that is estimated by the matching and the probabilistic RANSAC method will be verified by experiments. The kinematic design parameters are computationally calculated by using the minimum degree of freedom that connects both pipe coordinates.

A Consideration on Order of Cheongwoongyo and Baekwoongyo In Bulguksa (불국사(佛國寺) 청운교(靑雲橋).백운교(白雲橋)의 순서 고찰)

  • In the book of , it is recorded that the names of ingressive stone stairs to the main shrine were Cheongwoongyo(blue cloud bridge) and Baekwoongyo(white cloud bridge) and the names of stairs to the paradise hall were Yeonwhagyo(lotus bridge) and Chilbogyo(seven treasure bridge). But, the ingressive stone stairs to the main shrine and the paradise hall are single consecutive stairs with 2 levels respectively. Because of this, it is rather hard to clearly designate the names to the upper level and the lower level stairs. But, of the stairs to the Paradise hall, the lower stairs have a carving of lotus, and the upper stairs have seven stairs. In this aspect of artifacts, we can safely assume that the upper stairs are Chilbogyo and the lower are Yeonwhagyo. But, for the ingressive stairs to the main shrine, there is no such artificial hint. So, it is difficult to designate the upper and the lower stairs for the two bridges. Especially, it is not clear whether the descriptive order of "lower stairs upper stairs" in the names of Yeonwhagyo and Chilbogyo can be applied to the names of stairs to the main shrine. It is because the general descriptive order is "upper lower" rather than "lower upper." Even though there have been many studies on the Bulguksa temple, the study on the ingressive stone stairs to the main shrine has not made till now. Therefore, the study on the position of Cheongwoongyo and Baekwoongyo stairs can have its validity. In this paper, the positional approach to Cheongwoongyo and Baekwoongyo has been made in following aspects: First, the temple structure of Bulguksa; Second, the five element theory of oriental philosophy and the Book of Changes; Third, the directional consciousness of Buddhism. Through the aspects, the validity of up-down position of Cheongwoongyo and Baekwoongyo has been sought. In this research, it can be concluded that the upper level of ingressive stone stairs to the main shrine of Bulguksa is Cheongwoongyo and the lower level is Baekwoongyo. When considered in the Buddhist directional consciousness, it forms the total structure of "East-Cheongwoongyo South- Baekwoongyo West-Yeonwhagyo North-Chilbogyo."

Exploring the Motivational Factors Influencing on Learner Participation of Adult Learners in e-Learning (성인학습자의 이러닝 학습참여에 대한 학습동기 요인 연구)

  • Since e-learning is conducted based on the learner's autonomy, motivation to continuously participate is crucial for success in e-learning. As the number of adult learners participating in lifelong education increases, it is necessary to study learner participation and the motivating factors. Drawing upon the Expectancy-Value Theory and Self-Regulated Learning Theory, this study analyzed the influence of motivational factors (value, costs, cognitive regulation, and scheduling) on learner participation. An e-learning program was implemented on MoodleCloud, and learners completed a survey before going through the program. Regression analysis was conducted using the survey response data along with the participation score, calculated using the log data. The results of the analysis demonstrated that value and scheduling significantly influenced learner participation, with gender differences found in value. This means that as adult learners perceive higher value in the e-learning program and possess better scheduling skills, they are more likely to participate. These findings can be utilized in developing teaching and learning strategies for both learners and instructors, ultimately helping to prevent dropout in e-learning.

Analysis on the Use Behavioral Patterns and Use Fluctuation over the Tong-Ch′on Amusement Park (동촌유원지의 이용실태 및 변동분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to establish more rational and practical planning theory for amusement park. It analyze and consider the fluctuation of people who come and use the Tong-Ch'on amusement park. The results drawn from this reserch work are as follows; 1. The main visitors of the Tong-Ch'on amusement park are students in their twenties and thirties, and people whose incomes are below 300,000 Won a month. The purpose of visit is for a rest rather than for amusement and user prefer summer, while the user is so rare in wintertime. Those phenomena observed are somewhat different from the real purpose of a amusement park which is on purpose to make profits by offering entertainments to the users. So planner should pay attention to the three points. They are varieties, seasonable diversification and fantastic character of facilties, in the amusement park. 2. The access time of the Tong-Ch'on amusement park was 41 minutes, the use frequency was 4 times a year and resident time was 164 minutes. The relationship of the three factors are as follows; log Y(F) =1.7832-0.0277(A.T) R$^2$=0.75 Y(R. F)=31.8885+3.3217(A.T) R$^2$=0.53 Y(R. In the choice of space, there were much differences according to tole user's age, job, degree of education, companion type and purpose of use. 4. There are considerable correlation between use fluctuation and some factors. The factors are season(summer, winter) as a time, temperature, cloud amount, duration of sunshine, weather(rainy-day) as a climate and a day of the week(weekday, holiday) as a social system. The important variables are temperature, cloud amount, duration of sunshine and a day of the week(weekday, holiday) to estimate the user of amusementpark. 5. 1 can reduce the following two types of regression models. 1) log$\sub$e/ Y1 = 6.9114 + 0.l135 TEM + 0.00002 SUN -0.4068W1 + 0.4316 W3 (R$^2$= 0.94) 2) log$\sub$e/ Y2 = 7.2069 + 0.l177 TEM - 0.0990 CLO + 0.4880 W3 (R$^2$=0.95) Y; Number of User TEM; Temperature CLO; Amount of cloud SUN; Duration of Sunshine W1; Weekday W3; Holiday Those model is in order to estimate the user for management of Tong-Ch'on amusement park and use on the computation of facility sloe for reconstruction. Besides the amusement park, city park and outdoor recreation area could estimate of user through this method. But, I am not sure about the regression models because I did not apply the regression models to the other amusement park, city Park or outdoor recreation area. Therefore, I think that this problem needs to be studied on in the future.

  • The ten traditional symbols of longevity are represented as 10 which means perfection in oriental philosophy, the sun, mountain, water, cloud, rock, pine tree, elixir plant, tortoise, crane and deer. each subjects symbolizing longevity had used in isolation. unlike China and Japan, the ten symbols of longevity became a fixed form and was widely used in paintings, household effects and clothes in Korea. therefore, It will be a meaningful study how the ten symbols of longevity, as one of subjects in painting, changed into a pattern on clothes. The ten symbols of longevity was affected by various philosophies and religion. especially, it laid emphasis on order by Yin-Yang and the Five Elements theory. the order was applied to arrange each subjects and use colors carefully. the sun colored with red and was on the upper. the pine tree colored with green meaned tree and was on the left. the earth and the mountain meaned the soil and was on the center. the rock meaned the iron and was on the right. the water meaned the water and was on the bottom. The subjects of the study were embroideries like spectacle cases, spoon cases and pouches. the scope of study was the Latter Part of the Joseon Dynasty because there are more relics in the Joseon Dynasty than any other times.

The Dynamic Effects of China's Agricultural Technology Progress and Agricultural Environment Grants on Agricultural Development - Focusing on 3 Dongbei Province in China - (중국의 농업기술진보와 농업환경보조금이 농업발전에 미치는 동태적 파급효과 - 동북 3성을 중심으로 -)

  • Agricultural research and development (R&D) investment has contributed not only to agriculture but also to the overall economic growth of the country. The recent arrival of the fourth industrial revolution has raised the need for agricultural R&D as a preparation. Agriculture R&D is directly related to the fourth industrial revolution in the agricultural and livestock sectors that utilize big data, robots, artificial intelligence and cloud. Meanwhile, subsidies or grants are considered the most widely used means of policy. Therefore, in light of the current situation in which Chinese agriculture values R&D investment, this study attempted to analyze the dynamic relationship between variables by establishing a model of agricultural environment subsidy representing the role of government, agricultural technology progress representing existing agricultural R&D investment, agricultural income representing agricultural development and total agricultural output. The analysis results showed that each variable's reaction to the rise in China's agricultural R&D investment has a positive effect on agricultural development, in line with the theory that the investment in science and technology in the agricultural sector has a positive effect. In addition, the response of each variable to China's rising agricultural environment subsidy is shown to have a positive relationship, which can also be said to be in line with the theory that the government's market-friendly intervention is beneficial to economic development.
