The increased use of online shopping by older consumers means that online retailers need to consider older consumers when designing websites. We investigated the specific characteristics of commercial websites (i.e., perceptual fluency) through an online experiment. Guided by perceptual fluency and affect optimization literature, hypotheses highlighting older consumers' responses to websites were proposed and tested. Results confirmed that older consumers (in their 50s) are more generous in evaluating online retailers' websites than younger consumers (in their 20s) and that responses to websites are dependent on perceptual fluency. The findings are consistent with previous research and provide additional support for theories that deal with an online apparel shopping context. Practical implications and limitations are discussed.

This study examined return policies of the Korean retailers and their differences by retail format. Return policies of 363 retailers including dept stores, discount stores, brand consignment stores, small shops, outlet stores, TV home shopping companies, and internet shopping malls were collected. Acceptance of refund or/and exchange, return grace period, and return requirements or restrictions of each retailer were analyzed. The results showed that most retail formats except small shops and internet shopping malls allowed refund. The seven day return grace period was most common though large retail chains allowed more generous time frames and small shops allowed shorter dates. Restrictions for return varied by retailers and retail formats. Generally retailers followed the guidelines of consumer protection laws. The study discussed implications of return policy analysis.

For study, a questionnaire was used a method of mearsurement and eldery women in seoul and kyunggi were selected as a sample. Data was processed by SPSS PC+ program and analyzed by using frequency, percentage, t-test, factor analysis and Pearson's correlation. As a result, the body-satisfaction of eldery women was very low, their pursuiting self-image was gracios, younger, noble. The self-image classified grace attraction factor, intelligence factor and activity factor. Relationship between body-satisfaction and self-images was significant to gracious attractive factor and active factor. The shopping-orientatons classified brand name disply factor, personality pride factor, pratical benefit factor, prudence factor, planning purchase factor. Shopping-orientatons and self-images were significant to Pearson's correlation. The aim of this study help fashion contractors and retailers to establish effective marketing strategies.
The purpose of this study was to construct positioning maps according to satisfaction of sensibility elements and screen composition elements of internet fashion shopping mall by using multidimensional scaling (MDS). A questionnaire and internet-site surfing was used for this research, and 200 responses were used for data analysis. MDS analysis showed the satisfaction levels of 10 sensibility elements and 5 screen composition elements satisfaction for 8 selected internet fashion shopping malls.

The present research developed and empirically examined a theoretical model called a Mobile Channel Extension Model for consumer behavior toward mobile commerce. We proposed three antecedents: compatibility of, subjective norm regarding, and media influence regarding mobile use for communication purposes that influence the attitude toward the subjective norm and media influences of mobile use for shopping. These in turn positively influenced the consume's intention to use mobile devices for shopping. A Structural equation modeling analysis, using the data collected from a national online survey of 524 U. S. multichannel shoppers, confirmed the proposed model. The theoretical implications of these effects were discussed and managerial suggestions were made for both academicians and practitioners.
The present study was implemented to understand high school girls' buying patterns of fashion products at online and offline shopping malls; and to obtain the information needed for the development of online and offline mall marketing strategies that are differentiated from each other. The study was conducted through a descriptive survey method using questionnaires. The sample consisted of 242 girls from four high schools located in Seoul. Descriptive statistics, cross-tabulation and a paired t-test were used for the analysis of the data. Results are as follows: First, most of the high school girls (82.2%) had experience of purchasing fashion products at online shopping malls. And, those who have purchasing experience at online shopping malls, compared to those who do not have such purchasing experience, showed a higher purchasing intension at online shopping malls. Second, both the degree of pre-purchase searching and ongoing searching was higher in online shopping than in offline shopping. Third, the quality of material, place produced, brand name, and store atmosphere/type were considered more in offline shopping than in online shopping. Shopping convenience and information service about the products were considered more in online shopping than in offline shopping. Fourth, the purchasing frequency of underwear and hair accessaries was higher at offline stores than online shopping malls, but the purchasing frequency of bags was higher in online stores than offline stores. When the differences between the purchasing patterns at online shopping malls and offline stores are considered carefully, marketing activities would be more effective.
The purpose of this study was to compare the characteristics for pattern by making a sort of various store choice behaviors and analysing impact both direct and indirect, which is based on the presentation of the influence of clothing store choice behavior into the causal relationship per store type against clothing shopping orientation, information search activity and store image attribution. The results was that consumers who like to the top brand's commodities, had commonly high tendency to and fro its trademark and store allegiance. Furthermore, they have usually bought something following on their inclination what they had purchased as well as the store decoration character and the marketing promotion attribute. The other consumers who prefer to the discount store's merchandises, had also high propensity and the biggest influence on buying something which were those factors; their instance shopping habit, utility-economy trait, follow the fashion character and strong circumspection tendency besides using the mass media Info., personal data and commodities' attribute.
The main findings are as follows: First, both male and female group, image display was showed higher scores than the product display in the dimensions of 'interest' and 'impression, and the product display presented higher scores than the image display in the dimensions of 'information'. Second, in the dimensions of 'interest', more interest was demonstrated in image display for both male and female consumer group irrelevant to clothing shopping values. The pleasure pursuit consumer group of male and female presented more interest toward the both types of window display. Third, in the dimensions of 'information', the product display had more effect for both sex groups and the pleasure pursuit consumer group was seeking more information than the others groups through the window display. Fourth, in the dimensions of 'impression', the image display formed stronger impression and image for both male and female consumer group and the pleasure pursuit group showed higher score of impression formation than the other two groups.

This study investigated consumers' multi-channel behavior for fashion product purchases and compared perceived risks by channel type. A survey involving male and female college students was conducted in the Daegu and Gyungbuk area in December 2013. A total of 400 responses were analyzed using descriptive statistics, chi-square analysis, independent sample t-test, paired t-test, factor analysis, and reliability analysis. An internet shopping mall was the most frequently chosen retailer type for fashion product purchases and information searches. In addition, respondents also preferred independent branded stores, department stores, and non-branded stores. The number of retailer types for clothing item purchases ranged from 1 to 6 and the average was 3.06. The number of retailer types was significantly higher in women groups according to gender variables. Perceived risk had the highest evaluation score for internet shopping malls. Department stores were recognized as a reliable retailer type. The construct of perceived risk was shown as similar in off-line stores such as department stores, independent branded stores, and non-branded stores. Instead, the construct was differentiated from the case of internet shopping malls. Some insightful suggestions were suggested for future research and industrial marketing plans based on the results.
