20세기 초 이탈리아의 실험예술 의상에 관한 연구 (A Study on Experimental Clothing of the Early 20th Century Italian Artists)

  • This study concentrates on the relationship between the early 20th century italian artists and their works in the field of clothing design. They advocated the creation of art for life and introduced a new type of work of art which I will call 'experimental clothing for art'. The experimental clothing for art showed its dynamic characteristics in the field s of line and form, color, pattern, and material. The Italian artists made simple and functionalistic dresses, using asymmetric, geometric cuts. in pattern making. They employed dynamic patterns in textile design and favored brilliant colors which they debunked as storage and traditional. With regard to material, they used unusual materials such as metal, net, wire, and paper and inexpensive materials. To investigations of the visual expression of experimental clothing for art in Italy have led us to the internal expressions which are avant-garde, dynamic & speed, functionality & popularity, ephemeral & transformable, and warlike. As a result of the reflection of the times and the artists's will and roles the experimental clothing for art in Italy implicated contemporary clothing in the early twentieth century and it was only laboratory art that underwent various experiments in canvas but a model of efforts for the at of living, which was anti-traditional. It offered a new future and created a new environment. It is left for future research how the experimental clothing for art developed in countries other than Italian.

Clothing Purchasing Behavior of Elderly Women

  • A rapidly aging Korean population highlights the importance of investigating the actual state and needs of clothing for the elderly to provide basic information for a future senior industry. This paper surveyed clothing purchasing behaviors. The sample of this survey consisted of 210 females aged 55 over who live in Dajeoun and Nonsan. The data were analyzed by using SPSS. The major findings are as follows. First, most elderly women have bought the ready-made clothes in local markets. Second, the major consideration of clothing purchasing behavior was the possibility of outdoor wearing and color. They were satisfied with ready-made clothes because of the convenience to buy, design, and the necessity of the clothing brands for aged people. Third, they preferred pure cotton or mixed cotton even though they possessed the mixed cotton or synthetic fiber in clothing materials. Respondents preferred the feeling, heat-retaining property, and absorptiveness in textiles. The result indicates the demand for various material applications of functional textiles for elderly women.

  • Fur clothing as fashion items is expanding into casual & ladies's wear market as well as fur market. The interest of fur fashion is rising. So this study compares and analyzes the merchandising process of textile clothing also it of fur clothing by merchandising steps. Fur clothing has so many change factors at time of purchase by scarcity of raw material, price fluctuation, exchange rate and others. Therefore it is primarily about securing of raw material. As soon as plan of product is finished, the purchase of fur raw material has to be started while progress of design products for commercializing the fur clothing. The design of fur clothing is consist of material design, color design and shape design. And It makes a new trend & market as we are developing new & various treatments. The some of imported materials are transferred to the factory for being treated first dressing, fabric treatments and dyeing processing according to the design. The first treated materials are transferred to the sewing factory again for secondary treatments and finally inspected and shipped. During secondary treatments the fur has gone through various manufacturing process for using like fabric materials and it takes long time because almost work is running manually. Unlike fabric clothing, fur clothing's manufacturing method is complicated and various from material process to shape process as per feature. Therefore the merchandising with fur cannot make mass production also needs detail craftsmanship depending by expert's skills. On this wise the fur clothing takes long time to the completion thus it has been risky and costly.

  • A wide variety of fashion materials focus on good drape property and softness. Among the recently emerging materials, Neoprene that consists of laminated knit on both sides of foamed neoprene sheet seeks a unique appearance that is considerably deviated from the current flow. Diverse processing methods for the newly released material heighten the value in function and beauty among trends of fashion materials by enhancing the appearance, touch and material property. Laser-cutting technique is one of the processing methods that is consistently used in the textile area. This study aimed to find the basic materials for applicability of laser-cutting technique to clothing goods after consideration of the changes in material property and drape shape, and to furthermore enforce different pattern conditions to Neoprene material, one of the newly attractive materials in the fashion area. In this study, we applied laser-cutting technique to Neoprene material sample under different conditions of pattern appearance, size and distance, based on current evaluation and theoretical background of Neoprene material, fashion trend and laser-cutting technique. Drape property can improve and the drape direction could also be controlled by a wide variety of laser-cutting techniques applied to Neoprene materials that have uniquely different appearances from most other textiles. This technique could be applied to the design for diversification of Neoprene clothing goods in the future.

  • The purpose of this research is to develop the multimedia contents for the subject . is the subject to understand and analyze the characteristics of the textile materials and to be putting the key point to utilize the textile materials as the fashion materials. 1 developed the contents using multimedia system standing on the basis of Internet. The developed contents were organized to induce the interest. The sounds, pictures. computer graphics, animations, text, AOD and AOD etc. were utilized in these contents. These contents were consisted of preview, restudy, and the feedback through question. These contents can be executed directly in Web browser through Internet. Address is http://web.cnu.ac.kr/-fabric. Ⅰ applied this multimedia contents to actual class. It was utilized much more than textbook and it was turned out to be efficient in the experiment class. It was inspected that the most of students were satisfied with the utilizing these multimedia contents.

빅데이터 텍스트 마이닝을 활용한 소비자 리뷰에서의 의류 소재 키워드 분석 (Keywords Analysis of Clothing Materials in Consumer Reviews Using Big Data Text Mining)

  • This research explores consumer preferences for materials in different clothing product categories, using web-crawling and text mining techniques. Specifically, the study focuses on the material-related terms found in consumer reviews across three distinct product categories: functional clothing, formal shirts, and knit sweaters. Top-selling products within each category were identified on the Naver Shopping website based on the volume of reviews, and the four most-reviewed products were selected. Six hundred reviews per product were analyzed using the Textom big-data analysis software to determine the frequency of material-related mentions and word associations. The analysis utilized two comparative metrics: product category and usage duration. Our findings reveal notable variations in the material preferences mentioned by consumers across different product categories. The study suggests a need to re-evaluate existing standardized review criteria to better reflect consumer interests specific to each product category. Additionally, an increase in material-related terms in reviews over one month indicates the potential importance of extending the duration of product reviews to enhance the accuracy of information that reflects longer-term consumer experiences with material quality.

재단 각도에 따른 세미 플레어 스커트의 외관 및 헴라인 드레이프 형상에 관한 연구 - 실제 착의와 i-Designer의 가상 착의 시스템을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Shape of Hem-line of Semi-Flare Skirts according to a Cutting Angle - Based on the Comparison between Real Clothing and 3D Virtual Clothing -)

  • As the demand of the consumer for high-sense clothing, relation with materials is becoming important even in clothing construction. Especially, the cutting angle of materials is becoming an crucial element in the formation of silhouette, and drape of Hem line, of skirts. Accordingly, in this study, Hem line shapes between real clothing and 3D virtual clothing of "i-Designer" were analyzed by manufacturing semi-flare skirts of polyester 100% according to a cutting angle, and the results are as follows. As a result of comparison of silhouette between the real clothing and the virtual clothing, the real and the virtual have a similar feeling regardless of a cutting angle. In case of drape shapes, both the front and the lateral side were represented in almost similar shapes. The back side, however, the real and the virtual showed a great difference in case of grain direction. And in the whole silhouette, the real and the virtual were represented similarly. It could be known that with regard to Hem-line drape shapes between the real clothing and the virtual according to a cutting angle, the real clothing is represented in a location farther from the body than the virtual clothing and, the location or number of node was similarly showed in the real and the virtual.

의복 관심이 파티 선호에 미치는 영향과 파티복 유형별 파티 통일체 구성 (Effect of Clothing Interest on Party Preference and the Construction of Party Unities according to Party Wear Types)

  • This study investigated the effect of clothing interest on party preference and suggested four party unities according to party wear types. A hypothesized model based on consumer innovativeness, clothing interest, party benefit, party interest and party preference was tested to determine the effect of clothing interest on party preference. Party unities were constructed according to party wear types along with party place, party food, and party music. Data was collected through two online surveys. The population of the survey was female consumers in their twenties. Descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability, correlations, and regressions were applied to the data of 305 samples. As a result, positive tendency toward consumer innovativeness, clothing interest, party benefit, party interest and party preference was observed in young female consumers with significant relations among five variables. Party preference was well-explained from the hypothesized research model, but the direct path from clothing interest to party interest was identified as insignificant. The most preferred party elements of place, food, music and wear was garden, barbecue, house music and mini dress, respectively. Four party unities according to party wear types were constructed and suggested based on the correlation analysis results between party wear and other party elements. The concept of party unity is useful to establish marketing strategies such as advertising and experience marketing in the party wear industry.

  • The purposes of this study were to analyse the written clothing described in the magazine (Yea-Won) and then to review the characteristics of advertising and trends of fashion in Korea for last 10 years of 1955-1965 with a new approach to classify the images of fashion. The results of this study were as follows : 1. The characteristics of fashion advertising during this period indicated design appeals, pragmatic appeals, and image appeals. It also represented intermediate status of modern advertising and publication. 2. The trends of fashion market segmentation could be divided into four types: Fashion which considered seasons and time-place-occasion/ Fashion considered ages, occupations, and body conditions/ Fashion focused on materials/ Fashion with enlightenment, 3. The most frequently used colors were black. navy blue, white, and gray, however, it showed varieties from late 1964. Fashion materials used in clothing were kinds of wools, cottons, synthetic and combined materials. 4. Image appeals of fashion trends could be classified as Active-Country and Romantic-Elegance images.

유아복 유형별 구매에 대한 섬유소재의 영향력 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Textile Materials on Purchase of Children's Clothing Types)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of textile materials on children's clothing purchase according to types of clothings. In addition, textile fiber preference on the types of children's clothings was investigated. The subjects were 307 mothers with preschool children(4-6 yrs) in Seoul. The data were gathered by questionnaire and analyzed by analysis of variance and crosstabulation analysis. The results were as follows. 1) Textile materials were major consideration in purchasing children's clothings especially underwear. 2) There were significant differences in the perception of importance on textile material properties according to types of children's clothings. 3) Preferable fibers varied according to children's clothing types. 4) Relationship between fiber preference on the children's clothing types and demographic variables of mothers was not found except education and income in casual wear.
