혁신기술수용모델의 관점에서 고찰한 MP3-playing 의류와 생체신호 센싱 의류의 수용도 (The Consumer Acceptance of MP3-playing Clothing and Bio-Signal Sensing Clothing Considered in the Technology Acceptance Model)

  • 본 연구에서는 상용화된 MP3-playing 의류와 생체신호 센싱 의류 제품에 따라 소비자들의 수용모델에 있어서 차이가 있는지를 분석하였다. 제품종류에 따른 구성변수의 차이를 분석하기 위하여 SPSS 15.0 package를 사용하여 t-test를 하였고, 구조방정식 모형에 있어서 제품종류에 따라 각 경로의 차이를 밝히기 위하여 AMOS 5.0을 이용한 다중집단 분석을 실시하였다. 총 557부의 온라인 설문에 대한 유효 표본을 분석한 결과, 소비자들은 지각된 사용용이성은 MP3-playing 의류를 높게 인식하였으나 지각된 유용성, 지각된 가치, 태도, 수용의도는 모두 생체신호 센싱 의류를 MP3-playing 의류에 비해 상대적으로 높게 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 상용화된 제품의 판매가격에 대한 소비자들의 인식을 밝히고자 투입한 지각된 가치는 소비자들의 태도나 수용의도를 형성하는데 중요한 매개역할을 하는 것으로 입증되었다. 제품의 종류에 따른 특성상 소비자들의 수용모델에 있어서 경로의 차이도 발생했다. 생체신호 센싱 의류의 경우 MP3-playing 의류에서는 지지되었던 '지각된 유용성$\rightarrow$태도' 경로가 기각되었고 '지각된 가치$\rightarrow$태도'의 경로가 상대적으로 높게 나타났으며 MP3-playing 의류보다 지각된 가치의 매개 역할이 더 높게 분석되었다. 이와 같은 결과를 고찰해 볼 때, 스마트 의류는 이제 상용화 초기 단계에 있으므로 소비자들은 구매의사결정과정 중 필요의 인식이나 정보의 탐색단계에 있을 것이므로 이에 필요한 효과적인 상용화 전략의 수립이 필요하다고 할 수 있다.

20대 남녀의 한복 착용 활성화 방안에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Activation Method of Wearing Hanbok)

  • This paper identified the values and awareness of Koreans in 20s regarding Hanbok, the traditional clothing of Korea, and proposed an approach to promote the traditional clothing culture. The subject of the survey were male and female Koreans in their 20s who wear modern street clothes in places people frequently visit including in the metropolitan area and Chungcheong-do as well as those who wear Hanbok in Seoul and Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do. In accordance with the analysis of the survey, Koreans in their 20s rented Hanok rather than buying it. The respondents wore Hanbok for events, festivals or national holidays or while travelling. Elements to improve in Hanbok rental services were designs, materials, washing and stains. The decision factors for renting Hanbok were 'personal tendency' and 'advice from an expert.' While Koreans in their 20s had a positive awareness of Hanbok, they thought it was difficult to buy, rent and put on Hanbok and that it was not comfortable to wear. There was not sufficient opportunity and means to wear Hanbok due to insufficient accessories or shoes to match. On the basis of the analysis of the survey results, the following approach was proposed for the development of the traditional clothing culture. First of all, develop traditional clothing designers who can satisfy the personalities of Koreans in their 20s. It is necessary to develop experience-focused and participatory programs that provide systematic education regarding traditional clothing to pass down this tradition. In addition, it is necessary to create a social and cultural atmosphere that enables the Koreans in their 20s to easily wear Hanbok by popularizing Hanbok.

의복 구매의사 결정과정에 따른 패션정보원의 영향연구 -여대생을 중심으로- (A Study on the Effect of Fashion Information Sources on Clothing Purchase Decision Process)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of fashion information source in the stage of purchase decision-making and difference by stage of purchase decision-making and difference by stage of the effect extend, and to analyze the difference by fashion information source. For this study, the data were collected through the questionnaire distributed to 337 female students from five universities. The results are as follows: 1) There was significant difference among the effect to fashion information source according to the purchase decision-making stage. At the adoption stage, fashion information source have the most effect on clothing purchase. 2) The effect of Impersonal Source in the purchase decision-making stage was gradually decreased fro the initial (awareness, interest) sage to the late stage. 3) The effect of Personal Source in the purchase decision-making stage was gradually increased from the initial (awareness, interest) stage to the late stage. 4) Addition stage was highly influenced by friend and family that was Personal Independent Source than other fashion information source. However the final selection on clothing purchase was not influenced by friend and family. 5. There was significant difference among the effect of fashion information source according to the grade. Low garde students were highly influenced by Personal Source on clothing purchase, but high grade students were highly influenced by Impersonal Sources on clothing purchase. 6) There was significant difference among the effect of fashion information source according to the major. The students a majored clothing & textile-design were highly influenced by Impersional Source. These results suggest that fashion information source was significantly different according to purchase decision-making stage and was influenced by grade and major of subjects.

중고등학생의 업사이클링 인지와 업사이클 패션제품 구매행동에 따른 환경의식, 의복재활용행동, 패션관심 (Environmental consciousness, clothing recycling behavior and interest in fashion by awareness of upcycling and purchasing behavior for upcycled fashion products of middle & high school students)

  • 중고등학생을 대상으로 업사이클링에 대한 인지와 업사이클 패션제품 구매행동에 따른 환경의식, 의복재활용행동, 패션관심의 차이를 살펴보았다. 중고등학생의 환경의식은 여자가 남자보다 높으며, 의복재활용행동은 디자인계 고등학생이 일반계 고등학생보다 높게 나타났다. 패션관심은 고등학생이 중학생보다, 디자인계 고등학생이 일반계 고등학생보다, 여학생이 남학생보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 업사이클링에 대한 인지는 낮게 나타났는데 중학교와 일반고보다 디자인고에서 그리고 남학생보다 여학생이 많이 알고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 업사이클링에 대한 정보는 인터넷과 방송매체를 통해 얻는 것으로 나타났으며, 업사이클링에 대해 인지하는 학생들이 인지하지 못하는 학생들보다 환경의식, 의복재활용행동, 패션관심 모두 높게 나타났다. 중고등학생은 업사이클링에 대한 인지가 높지 않아 업사이클 패션제품을 구매한 경험이 적으며, 구매경험이 있는 학생들은 환경의식, 의복재활용행동과 패션관심이 모두 높게 나타났다. 업사이클 패션제품을 구매한 이유는 독특함과 디자인 때문인 것으로 나타나 환경보호 차원에서 시작된 업사이클 패션제품이라고 하더라도 제품의 디자인이 구매에 중요한 역할을 하는 것을 알 수 있었다.

A Study of the Development Direction Factors for Mass Customization of Clothing based on Digital Fashion System

  • Due to the diversification of lifestyles and the rapid growth of Internet environments since the 1990s, mass customization has been recently accepted as an important trend in the area of clothing and all other areas. In response to mass customized clothing products, global clothing product brands are introducing systems for mass customization such as the application of digital fashion systems that introduced IT technologies such as CAD and 3D scanners. However, studies of planning factors for clothing products applied with digital fashion systems in the area of mass production of clothing products are insufficient. Therefore, this study was intended to analyze the lifestyles of 20-30s that are expected to have the highest demand for clothing applied with digital fashion systems and present basic planning factors according to lifestyles. Through the analysis, three groups that have one of fashion pursuing type, sensory information pursuing type, and practical function pursuing type lifestyles were derived. Based on this result, consumer demand for digital fashion systems and basic factors for product planning were analyzed to present basic planning factors for digital fashion system based customized clothing by lifestyle group. This study is meaningful in that it provided basic data for product planning through digital fashion systems by analyzing the awareness, preference, necessity, and planning factors of digital fashion systems through the analysis of lifestyle types.

스마트 헬스케어 의류 구매의도에 대한 성별과 연령대별 영향 요인 - 기술수용모델(TAM), 의복속성, 건강라이프스타일, 패션혁신성을 중심으로 - (Influencing factors on purchase intention for smart healthcare clothing by gender and age - Focused on TAM, clothing attributes, health-lifestyle, and fashion innovativeness -)

  • Smart healthcare clothing combines IoT, new technology, and clothing construction to perform specific care functions, and its utility has been expanding rapidly within aging and diversified societies. However, the related market remains at an early stage of development due to limited regulation, lack of consumer awareness, and the need for not only technical development but promotion plans for potential users. This paper aims to analyze factors influencing purchase intention for smart healthcare clothing with biosignal monitoring, including variables in the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), clothing attributes, health-related lifestyle factors, and fashion innovativeness. A survey was conducted on a sample of 300 males and 300 females ranging in age from 20 to 50 years, and data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0. The results show that perceived usefulness, perceived aesthetic attributes, health responsibility, and fashion innovativeness were overall significant predictors of using smart healthcare clothing. Additionally, perceived ease of use and physical activity in the male subsample, and perceived compatibility within the female group, also had significant effects. Furthermore, age was a determining factor; for subjects in the 30s age group, perceived usefulness, compatibility, and health responsibility had significant positive associations. The results of this study can provide basic guidelines for designing merchandising plans to expand user acceptance of smart healthcare clothing.

의류상품의 효과적인 TV광고에 대한 연구 (A Study on Impacts of TV Commercials of Women's Clothes)

  • This study was intended to analyze the perception of consumers towards TV commercials of women's clothes and variables influencing the effectiveness of the commercials. The sample consisted of 408 female students attending Ehwa Woman's university and the survey was conducted after the TV commercials were shown to the sample. Frequency, percentage, F-test, logistic regression were used for analysis. Conclusions of the study are as follows, 1. TV commercials were grouped into three image categories, Individuality, Nobility, and Activity. The commercials of the formal clothes were perceived based on nobility factor while the commercials of the casual clothes were perceived based on individuality factor by subjects. 2. Commercial image and the brand image appeared similar in three image factors. And TV commercials were more effective when two images were perceived similar. 3. The expenditures on TV commercial influenced the awareness of commercials, therefore frequent commercial drew more awareness. 4. The models on the commercials were more effective when the image of the commercials and the image of the models were perceived similar by subjects.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the outdoor sportswear purchase behavior, outdoorwear sportswear brand preference, functional fabric awareness, and benefits sought. The research was performed through in-depth interview during February to March 2011. Data were collected from 10 consumers who had purchased outdoor sportswear and experienced camping in 6 months. First, the results from study showed that functionality/comfortability, design, color, and brand name were important factors in selecting outdoor sportswear. Offline stores were the main place to purchase, however, internet shopping mall and portal online community were another shopping channel as well. Second, respondents preferred imported outdoor sportswear brand to national brand. According to the study, the respondents trusted the imported outdoor sportswear quality based on the brand name, value, and brand history more than national brand. Third, consumers who had low functional fabric awareness were more likely to evaluate apparel products based on the brand name. Knowledge levels for textile functions were high in elastic, UV protection, air permeable, and antibacterial properties. The essential features for camping were water absorbing and quick dry, water resistance, wind proof, UV protection, and fire retardant properties. Finally the results showed that there were two sportswear benefit soughts: functionality and status ostentation.

VMD 효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effects of VMD)

  • The purpose of this study is the structural relations will be examined among the VMD image of clothe stores, emotional reactions of brand awareness, brand image, brand attitude, and purchase intention. An empirical study in experimental design was conducted to female college students in their twenties, who made a huge influential group in the fashion industry, by considering the VMD characteristics of clothing shops. It measured the effects of VMD based on the changes to the consumer attitude before and after the VMD renewals, the correlations between brand recognition and VMD, and the influences of VMD on brand recognition and image, which were considered as important factors in creating brand assets. The research findings were as follows: 1. There were differences in emotional reactions according to the VMD image changes before and after renewal. Considering that the consumers recognized the VMD changes before and after renewal and showed different emotional reactions, the VMD image seems to be a major variable affecting their emotions. 2. As for the changes to the VMD image and brand image before and after renewal, the consumers recognized the VMD changes before and after renewal and consequently recognized the brad images differently, which implies that brand image can vary according to the effects of VMD renewal and changes to the VMD image.

럭셔리 브랜드 마케팅 활동이 고객기반 브랜드 자산 형성에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Luxury Brand Marketing Activities on the Formation of Customer-Based Brand Equity)

  • The recent entry and heated competition of numerous fashion brands in the luxury fashion market have all compelled luxury businesses to change. The issue of brand equity has emerged as one of the most critical areas for luxury marketing management. Despite strong interest in the subject, there is little evidence of how brand equity is created by marketing activities and what their effects are. This study identifies the effects of luxury marketing activities on the brand equity of luxury items, utilizing Keller's (2001) 'CBBE (Customer Based Brand Equity) Model' as a theoretical framework. Based on literature review, a conceptual model for brand signature, heritage, premium price, controlled distribution, and promotion on customers' view on brand equity was tested. To test the hypothesized building paths of luxury brand equity, statistical analysis were performed with an AMOS 7.0 program using a confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation model. The results were: First, luxury brand equity was defined in terms of four components (brand awareness/association, customer judgment, customer feeling, and customer-brand resonance). Second, the proposed conceptual framework of this study was partially significant. We can provide an effectiveness of Keller's CBBE model to conceptualize the building process of luxury brand equity; subsequently, marketers should develop core elements to position a brand strategy to create a competitive advantage.
