In a case of class III skeletal patients with severe alveolar bone resorption, it must be a complete denture treatment plan provided stable and durable occlusion. Despite a markedly increased tooth mobility and unfavorable crown-to-root ration due to periodontal tissue breakdown, if the inflammatory process is controlled and an adequate oral hygiene performed, fixed splints will be considered. Patient's discomfort will be eliminated by achievement better clinical tooth mobility using fixed splints. So it can be a cost and time effective treatment option. In this case, it used a T-Scan System for confirmation a bilateral balanced occlusion and a occlusal force distribution reflected a patient's functional mandibular movement.

A 10 year & 11 month old girl patient who had Angle's Class III malocclusion were treated by chin cap and fixed appliances. The treatment results obtained were as to]lows: 1. The anterior crossbite was corrected. 2. The functional overbite & overjet were established. 3. The favorable molar relationships were achieved. 4. The forward growth of the mandible was restrained. 5. The axial inclination of the upper & lower incisors were changed and the upper dental arch length was increased. 6. The facial profile was improved resulting from the good upper & lower jaw relations. 7. There was no harmful changes on the teeth S the periodontal tissues after treatment. 8. The good occlusal stability was showed after 1 year of retention.

Occlusal disharmony is frequently observed among edentulous patients. When artificial teeth come into contact, the unfavorable displacing force may lead to the discomfort, mucosal trauma, or even neuromuscular alterations and emotional disturbances. An optimal occlusal scheme is a critical factor for successful complete dentures. For this case, an edentulous patient with significant interarch size discrepancy due to mandibular prognathism contributing to inadequate function of dentures was treated with complete dentures. The posterior cross-bite tooth setup for compensating the abnormal jaw relations provided a stable and retentive complete denture prosthesis, which was considered adequate by both patient and dentist.
