To solve the traffic problems increased in the big cities, a lot of local transportation authorities are taking into account the New Transit system. But most of projects are pending due to the financial and technical issues. New Transit system has various kinds of characteristics in the view of system technology and operational features. The introduction of PRT system into the Korean market can be investigated through the comparison with other new transit modes.

The TSP(Traveling Salesman Problem) is one of the most widely studied problems in combinatorial optimization. The most common interpretation of TSP is finding a shortest Hamiltonian tour of all cities. The objective of this paper proposes a new heuristic algorithm MCH(Multi-Convex hulls Heuristic). MCH is a algorithm for finding good approximate solutions to practical TSP. The MCH algorithm is using the characteristics of the optimal tour. The performance results of MCH algorithm are superior to others algorithms (NNH, CCA) in CPU time.

Currently, urban mobility is rather two-dimensional: Connections between transportation solutions like elevators, escalators, moving walks, and metro stations are static. In the future, urban mobility will require a holistic view: Seamless transportation, enabled by innovative IoT technology, is a necessity. A dialogue between the city, its buildings and transportation systems, considering the specific needs and preferences of each and every citizen, must be adopted. Travelling through the city will become a lot more individualized, interactive and customized to specific requirements.

LRT(LAght Rail Transit) system is a new transportation system with new technique of an electric railway. Transportation ability of LRT is mid-scale of a bus and a subway, transporting 5,000-30,000 people per hour and direction. LRT automatically operates in the existing metropolitan railway and large-scale development areas or satellite cities with a fixed route and has a short interval that guarantees scheduled-time, safety and environment-friendly.

The TGV has been developed in a competition with the domestic air transport. But recently, with congestion, do-regulation of air transport and with the increase of number of cities served by the TGV, operators of rail and air transport are looking for a complementarity between the two modes. In this paper, we'll analyse the background and development of high-speed rail-air links in France for a development plan of high speed transportation network in a national level in Korea.

Urban air pollution has been gradually increasing by the increase of population and vehicles recently. There are shown larger effects of air pollution in Incheon city which has more than 2 million people and has heavy holding amounts ratio of transportation vehicles as compared with other cities. However, it is very difficult to predict the air quality condition of their moving pollutants. Therefore, in this study air pollution measuring model was designed to estimate the air pollution level by line sources(transprtation vehicles ) of air pollutants and to detect the $NO_x$ emission amounts in ordinary times, and it became clear that it is functionally operative.

The development of the mountain areas is the economic solution to the forest-mountain region that is becoming more hollw by the day. It can also be said as providing a rest area for those that live in the cities who long for their child-hood memories. This development will bring the vitalization of the regional economy and the balanced development of the national land planning. In order to bring the continuous development of the mountain areas, educating a dedicated professional forest-mountain expert is a must.
