자유항주모형시험을 이용한 KCS 선형의 축척비별 조종성능에 관한 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Manoeuvrability of KCS with Different Scale Ratios by Free Running Model Test)

  • There have been many experimental studies on the manoeuvrability of KRISO Container Ship (KCS). However, the scale ratio of the model ship and the test procedure for each institute are slightly different, so direct comparison for the data is technically difficult to perform. This paper presents the manoeuvrability of the ship with different scale ratios: 1/65.8, 1/42.0, and 1/31.6 in model scale. KRISO conducted Free Running Model Tests (FRMT): 35° turning circle tests and 20/20(10/10) zigzag manoeuvring tests. The test results indicated that advance and tactical diameter in turning circle tests were similar, and overshoot angles in two zigzag manoeuvring tests increased as the model ship size increased. In addition, a basic concept for the FRMT method with an auxiliary X-thrust device was proposed so that the scale effect could be considered in model ship tests.

CAMShift와 이중 원형 추적법을 이용한 손 동작 게임 컨트롤러 구현 (Implementation of Finger-Gesture Game Controller using CAMShift and Double Circle Tracing Method)

  • 본 논문에서는 단일 카메라를 사용하여 사용자 검지 손가락 움직임과 손가락 개수의 인식을 기반으로 하는 손동작 게임 컨트롤러 인터페이스를 구현한다. 구현한 손동작 게임 컨트롤러 인터페이스는 검지 손가락 끝점의 위치 추적을 위해서 CAMShift(Continuously Adaptive Mean Shift) 알고리즘을 적용하고, 손가락 개수 인식을 위해서는 손 영역의 중심으로부터 이중 원형 추적(Double Circle Tracing)에 의한 교차정보를 이용한다. 이때 성능 향상을 위해서 RGB 입력 영상에 대해서 CAMShift 알고리즘 적용에는 HSI 컬러모델을 이중 원형 추적을 위해서는 YCbCr 컬러모델을 사용한다. 또한 인텔사의 OpenCV 라이브러리를 기반으로 C++언어를 사용하여 사격 시뮬레이터 게임을 제작하여 손동작 게임 컨트롤러 인터페이스의 성능을 평가하고 사용자 명령 컨트롤러로서의 유효성을 검증하였다. 그 결과 각 게임 컨트롤 모드별 평균 90% 이상의 인식률을 보였다.

  • The paper aims to apply a model of continuous quality improvement (CQI) to Taiwan provincial Pin Ton hospital. Tools of quality control were used both total quality management (TQM) and quality control circle (QCC) in order to approach the objective of ${\ulcorner}$higher quality, higher efficiency, lower cost${\lrcorner}$. During two years, this hospital has organized thirteen QC circles that were classified three categories according to that objective: four circles work for higher quality; the other four circles work for higher efficiency; five circles for lower cost. After implementation, several results were found from two viewpoints. From viewpoint of tangibility, one of the most outcomes is to reduce labor cost from 56 persons to 28 persons of temporary employees. From viewpoint of intangibility, the result was evaluated using radar chart to compare the difference after improvement. This paper is going to report the process of CQI for the hospital management because it is a new issue in Taiwan since 1997

  • In korea, since November 1982 these two small group activity (QC circle convension and Factory Saemaul activity small group convension) has been united, many problems have been disclosed that are aganist the basic principle more or less. Worker's small group within their working place to improve the surroundings creatively. In practice, however, many group are so typical and impetuous of the material effect that it is worried to be inclined to outform rather than contents. Effective small group activities are presumed to be successful only with labour management cooperation on the basis of human-orient management philosophy. The small group activities are also prevalent in service sector. More derivative methods have been developed and more members are willingly participation in training programs. The small group which is basically a horizontal organization unit, promptes communication within the whole organization, In consideration of social circumstances and traditions, the flexible model of the small group activities suitable to the corporate environment, will contribute to industrial development.

  • A computer simulation model for investigating a two-dimensional (2-D) rounding mechanism in a centerless grinding process is described. This model includes the interference phenomena and the concept of machining elasticity. Since initial contact points are used as a reference, the result of this simulation is not affected by the location of the reference circle center and the radius of the reference circle. Also, details of the machining factor are studied by using process variables (grinding wheel speed, wheel specification, workpiece speed, dressing condition, etc.). The effect of the threshold grinding force on the size of ground workpiece is investigated. For the verification of this method, simulation results are compared with the experimental work.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore social support in childhood and early adolescence. The research was based on the social convoy model(Kahn and Antonucci, 1980). The data were collected from questionnaires completed by 656 elementary school children(2nd and 5th grade) and the middle school children(2nd grade) in rural and urban area. The statistical methods adopted for data analyses were frequencies, mean, standard deviation, T-test, One-way ANOVA, Scheffe-test, Two-way ANOVA, and correlation coefficient. Children received more support from parents and friends in convoy function of social support. Convoy size of social support increased with age. Rural children had larger convoy size in the inner circle, and smaller convoy size in the middle circle than urban children did.

  • The green craze has hit all the world lately. The green revolution which means immense changes for sustainable development under the new environment-economy system is foretelling that we should have new angle to the environment and economy. This paper is about the development of the model and indicators for construction of ECO(Energy Circulating Organic)-Village which is the green growth option of local community. This model is composed of three concepts - SPDC (about procedural methodology of Model), Virtuous Circle (about functional relationships of three requisites), Network (about spatial relationships between communities) - and evaluation indicators. Environment, tourism, industry (Energy & Organic Agriculture) are set as the three requisites for green growth of local community. Nations of the world plunge into the green war which is silent, general, sweeping changes. We can not win this war with the existing thinking system and policy. We need revolutionary changes reconsidering of environmental value and sustainable development strategy of the region. Each of us should go through the changes and this work would be the one among those efforts.

중학교 동아리활동을 위한 STEAM 기반 프로젝트 교육 프로그램 개발: '지구사진 촬영' 주제를 중심으로 (Development of Educational Program of STEAM-based Project for Circle Activities in Middle School: Focused on the Theme of "Photography of Earth")

  • 이 연구의 목적은 창의적 체험활동의 동아리활동을 위한 '지구사진 촬영'을 주제로 개발된 STEAM 기반 프로젝트 교육 프로그램을 개발하고, 적용하여 과학 및 기술교과 자기효능감과 공학 태도의 변화를 확인하는 것이다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해, 충청남도 천안 소재의 C중학교 STEAM 동아리 학생 21명에게 9차시 수업을 적용하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 동아리활동을 위한 STEAM 프로그램은 준비, 설계, 개발, 실행, 평가의 5단계의 설계 모형을 통해 교육과정을 분석하여 내용을 선정하고, 차시별 계획과 교수학습지도안, STEAM-Story, 학생 활동지 등을 융합적 관점에서 개발하고 4개월에 걸쳐 창의적 체험활동의 동아리활동에 적용하였다. 둘째, 개발된 STEAM 프로그램은 과학 및 기술교과 자기효능감 측정 도구와 공학 태도측정 도구를 활용하여 사전, 사후 검사한 결과, 과학 및 기술 교과 자기효능감과 공학 태도 모두 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 동아리 활동을 위한 '지구사진 촬영'을 주제로 개발된 STEAM 기반 프로젝트가 중학생의 과학 및 기술교과 자기 효능감과 공학에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향이 효과적임을 검증하였다.

품질개선 및 혁신활동에서 재무성과 측정모형의 개발 (Development of Financial Effect Measurement(FEM) Models for Quality Improvement and Innovation Activity)

  • This research introduces the Financial Effect Measurement (FEM) models which measures both the improvement and the innovation performance of Quality Control Circle (QCC) and activities of Six Sigma. Concepts and principle of Comprehensive Income Statement (CIS), Balanced Scorecard (BSC), Time-Driven Activity Based-Costing (TDABC) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) are applied in order to develop the 4 FEM models presented in this paper. First of all, FEM using CIS depicts the improvement effects of production capacity and yield using relationships between demand and supply, and line balancing efficiency between bottleneck process and non-bottleneck processes. Secondly, cause-and-effect relation of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) is used to present Critical Success Factor (CSF) effects for QC Story 15 steps of QCC and DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control) of Six Sigma. The next is FEM model for service management innovation activities that uses TDABC to calculate the time-driven effect for improving the indirect activities according to the cost object. Lastly, FEM model for TPM activities presents the interpretation of improvement effect model of TPM Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) and Operating Expenditure (OPEX) maintenance using profit, cash and Economic Added Value (EVA) as metrics of enterprise values. To better understand and further investigate FEMs, recent cases on National Quality Circle Contest are used to evaluate new financial effect measurement developed in this paper.

  • 본 연구는 고등학교 원의 방정식에서 나타나는 오류유형을 바탕으로 우수고교의 미성취학생들의 오류의 극복과정을 조사하였다. 연구결과는 학생들이 문제를 풀 때 그들이 도달한 현 단계를 자주 잊어버려서 문제풀이 전에 계획을 다시 복습할 수 있는 기회를 가졌다. 특히 문제해결 과정 생략오류와 잘못된 결론의 오류들이 현저히 감소하였는데 그들은 귀납적 수업모형을 바탕으로 한 수업에서 문제에 대한 대수식과 그림을 통해 수학적 개념, 원리, 그리고 식을 이해하였고 이런 탐구중심의 활동에서 수학적 내용을 매우 논리적으로 잘 해결하였다.
