  • A video-work story analysis system based on emotional state measurement includes a content provision unit which provides story content of a video-work, a display unit which displays content provided by the content provision unit, an emotional state measurement unit which measures a tense-relaxed emotional state of a viewer viewing the displayed story content, a story pattern analysis unit which analyzes the tense-relaxed emotional state measured from the emotional state measurement unit according to a scene in the story content provided by the content provision unit, and a story pattern display unit which prints out an analysis result or displays the analysis result as an image. The emotional state measurement unit measures a tense or relaxed emotional state through one or more analyses among a brainwave analysis, a vital sign analysis, or an ocular state analysis. A writer may obtain support in an additional scenario modification work, and an investor may obtain support in making a decision through the above description. Furthermore, the video-work story analysis system and analysis method based on emotional state measurement may extract a particular pattern with respect to a change in an emotional state of a viewer, compile statistics, and analyze a correlation between a story and an emotional state.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate Seonyudo Park and Kkummaru in terms of haptic space. This is also an attempt to explore temporality of appearing in architectural spaces with reference to cinematic expression in which time is visible and perceptible. The film of Chris Marker's La Jet$\acute{e}$e depicts temporal relationship by indeterminate continuum, reading the space on the disjunctive relationships of visual and auditory, and aberrance of time and space. Based on the three categories that is derived from those discussions, this study analyzes the experience of non-chronological time induced by architectural devices: the bifurcation of indeterminate circulation, the readability of space on the disjunction of visual and auditory, and the border-dismantling. Therefore, this study have a relationship with the contemporary discourse on time and events as transformation and becoming, and it means to escape from the deterministic thinking to emphasize invariability and space rather than variation and time.

  • Media has become an inseparable companion of $21^{st}$ century culture, exerting immense influence on our daily lives. This article aims to reveal how cultural aspects and media in a particular part of the Silk Road have adapted Western cannons. Iran has redefined and transformed Western culture through the modern Silk Road by the method of cinematic adaptation. Karim-Masihi employs the general plot of Hamlet, the well-known drama by William Shakespeare (1564-1616), in his movie Tardid (Doubt 2009); however, he transforms some of the characters to reflect the current socio-cultural aspects of Iranian society. One of the characters is named Siavash, whose life is similar to Hamlet. In passivity, he awaits his imminent death and other tragic consequences. Yet, the movie ends differently. It is not an Elizabethan tragedy in a strict sense, although the final scenes abound with corpses. This article aims to find the similarities and differences between the two works, while reasoning the significance of the alterations. It concludes with how different cultures react to the same themes.

  • This paper aims to explore and shed light on how the rise of streaming services has been affecting the media landscape in the recent years by looking at the conflicts between the Hollywood film industry and Netflix. It especially examines Netflix's disregard for the theatrical release, as it is the most portentous issue that could reshape the film industry, and Hollywood's opposition to it as revealed through the 2019 Academy Awards where the issue was brought into sharp relief. At the same time, this paper also questions whether theatrical distribution makes a film any more cinematic by examining how Hollywood film production has been largely concentrated on tentpoles and franchises, while Netflix has been producing diverse films often shunned by the studios. In this light, it concludes the changes wrought by Netflix, including its bypassing of the theatrical release, are not likely to be reversed.

  • Fashion films with screen limits have a way of changing communication methods through sensorial organs in order to go beyond limits. This study shows that such change is possible if fashion films are based on haptic factors. This study examines haptic factors of fashion films from the three perspectives of filming factors of different shot size, synesthetic, and cinematic screen methods. First, when the subject to be emphasized is enlarging, the observer comes to project themselves to the situation and incurs a haptic sensation. Second, when associating an experience by personal recollection or social customs when more than two senses are stimulated simultaneously, haptic sensations, triggered by multiple senses, takes place. Third, a blurred image shows haptic sensations through inducing observers to see into the meaning of a shot. As a result, the senses of the observer enlarge and enhance a communication ability through absorbing and accepting a fashion film. Furthermore, fashion films are effective in understanding the cultural forms of the age.

  • It illuminates the representation of Korean dance in the sense of color. The unique color and light of Korean dance reflects the essence of Korean art and the consciousness of Koreans. Therefore, analyzing Korean art, colors and meanings can provide the principle of aesthetic interpretation to re-examine Korean colors. This means that it is necessary to pay attention to the possibility of developing original contents as a humanistic basis, asking the origin of Korean art. The Korean thought and philosophy in which color and life become cultures remain the roots for another re-creating vision of Korean art. Therefore, it is time to establish a system of Korean identity as an art with the expansion of various interpretations of various aesthetic attitudes that recognize Korean dance.

  • According to Jacques Lacan, human desire stems from a primitive lack, This lack acts as a driving force, propelling humans to continually seek pleasure and satisfaction. Given its intricacies, the interplay between the subject's and the overall human desire is intricate, making complete realization of desire unattainable. Through Jacques Lacan's theory of desire, the researcher aims to explore the balance achieved as the subject in the movie navigates ideals, frustrations, and growth. This paper focuses on the analysis of the movie 'Parasite' using Amedeo Giorgi's phenomenological method. By doing so, the researcher seeks to uncover the essence of human desire, offering insights and a theoretical framework for cinematic creation.
