인간의 삶의 질 증진에 공헌한 화학자 조사하기 프로젝트 수업의 효과 (A Study on the Effect of the Project of Examining the Chemist Contributing to the Quality of Human Life)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the change of chemistry-related attitude of preliminary teachers, after the project of examining chemists contributing to the quality of human life. One group pretest-posttest was used in this study as an experimental design. Before examining the chemist, few preliminary teachers have the knowledge about the chemist contributing to the quality of human life. After the project of examining the chemist, the affirmative awareness on the chemist on preliminary teachers is increased. This result shows that the project of examining the chemist contributing to quality of life can give to make the positive attitude of preliminary teachers on chemistry, and to apply the useful tool related to STS curriculum which is not described effectively in science or chemistry textbook.

Fermentation of MR-387A and H, Novel Aminopeptidase M Inhibitors by Streptomyces sp. SL-387 : Carbon and Nitrogen Catabolite Repression of Inhibitor Formation

  • The effect of carbon and nitrogen sources on the production of novel aminopeptidase M inhibitors MR-387A and B by Streptomyces sp. SL-387 has been studied. High D-glucose and ammonia concentrations (5$\%$ and 1$\%$, respectively) exerted a negative influence on the inhibitor formation. The suppressive effect of glucose on the inhibitor formation is probably caused by an effect of medium pH rather than that of cyclic AMP. To establish the optimum conditions for inhibitor overproduction, various nitrogen sources and ammonium ion-trapping agents were examined. The use of ammonia slow-releasing nitrogen sources such as soybean meal and fish meal, or ammonium ion-trapping agents such as kaoline, celite, and natural zeolite achieved the enhancement of inhibitor production. These results also indicate that inhibitor formation is affected by ammonium ion repression.

'과학사 기반 화학자 탐구 프로그램'이 고등학교 과학영재의 과학의 본성에 대한 인식과 과학적 태도, 과학 진로지향도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of 'Science History Based Chemist Inquiry Program' on the Understanding toward Nature of Science, Scientific Attitudes, and Science Career Orientation of Scientifically Gifted High School Students)

  • 본 연구는 고등학교 과학영재의 특성에 맞는 '과학사 기반 화학자 탐구 프로그램'을 개발하고 과학의 본성에 대한 인식과 과학적 태도, 과학 진로지향도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 진행되었다. 본 연구의 대상은 고등학교 부설 영재학급에 선발되어 교육받는 영재학생 1학급 17명이며, '과학사 기반 화학자 탐구 프로그램'은 22차시에 걸쳐 적용되었다. 본 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 과학영재의 과학의 본성에 대한 인식은 통계적으로 유의미한 향상을 보였다(근사유의확률 .005). 과학의 본성 하위 요소 중에서는 '과학적 모형의 속성'에서 유의미한 향상을 보였다(근사유의확률 .029). 이는 '과학사 기반 화학자 탐구 프로그램'이 고등학교 과학영재의 과학의 본성에 대한 인식을 향상시킬 수 있음을 보여준다. 둘째, 과학영재의 과학적 태도에 통계적으로 유의미한 변화가 나타나지 않았다. 과학적 태도의 7가지 하위 영역 중 개방성과 창의성은 통계적으로 유의미한 향상을 보였다(p<.05). 셋째, 과학영재의 과학 진로지향도에 통계적으로 유의미한 변화가 나타나지 않았다. 그러나 과학 진로에 대한 가치 인식 수준은 유의미하게 향상되었다(p<.05).

  • It is certainly a difficult work to find out novel-type "practical" antibiotic from natural sources. In fact, chemically modified antibiotics, such as synthetic penicillins, cephalosporins, derivatives of tetracycline, lincomycin, rifamycin and kanamycin are most widely used in medical practice at present. However, as the possibility of success gained by chemical modification is limited, it would be the buty of our applied microbiologists to offer novel antibiotics to chemist and physician without interruption. In this lecture, some practical problems in new antibiotic research will be discussed.(중략)

Graphene Derivatives for Bioanalytical Chemistry

  • Graphene and graphene derivatives have attracted enormous attention from various research fields for applications in electronic devices, transparent electrodes, biosensors, drug delivery system and surface coatings. In the viewpoint of chemist, the chemical structure of graphene derivatives seems intriguing but detailed structures are being revealed only recently while engineering approaches for various applications are being executed very actively. Recently, several reports are available on interactions of graphene with biomolecules including proteins and nucleic acids. In this talk, I'll introduce recent studies which harness graphene derivatives for developing bioanalytical platforms to quantitatively analyze various enzyme activities. The systems rely on attractive interaction between graphene oxide and nucleic acids or phospholipids.

단편에 드러난 체호프식 에로티시즘의 특징 -단편 <약사의 아내>, <아가피아>, 그리고 <불행>을 중심으로- (Chekhovian Eroticism's Characteristics in Chekhov's Short Stories -Focusing on his Short Stories, , , and -)

  • 체호프는 그의 단편들 중 여성들의 '육체적 욕망과 부정(不貞)'을 강하게 묘사한 작품들을 통해서 그가 그리고자 했던 '있는 그대로의 삶' 속에서 그만의 에로티시즘을 탄생시켰다. 체호프의 에로티시즘은 남녀간의 '관능성의 문제'를 부각시키면서도, 동시에 에로티시즘만이 요구하는 표현들에 국한되지 않는다. 체호프는 그 특징적 작품들 속에서 여성들이 왜 부정하게 되었는지 근본적 원인에 대하여 밝히고 있으며, 육체적 욕망과 도덕성 사이에서 겪게 되는 심리적 갈등에 집중한다. 체호프에게 성적 욕망에 있어 불완전한 여성들의 '부정과 일탈'은 결국 그들의 더한 '불행함'으로 귀결된다. 본 필자는 체호프 단편들 중에서 에로티시즘적 특징이 두드러진 세 작품 <약사의 아내>, <아가피아>, 그리고 <불행>을 중심으로 체호프식 에로티시즘의 배경과 정의, 그리고 특징들에 대하여 알아보고, 각 단편의 텍스트 분석을 통하여 작품 속에 녹아있는 그만의 에로티시즘적 특징들을 구체적으로 살펴보고자 한다.

북한의 약사교육 시스템과 시험제도(국가면허) 연구 (Pharmacist Education and National License Examination System in North Korea)

  • Unity, understanding our pharmacist pharmacy education and training and their ecosystems rather then overwrite the system will get you ready to integrate and balance searching for contacts. Since 2015 we started the 6-year pharmacy education in the North were already carried out (the current 5.5 years). This chemist (or pharmacist) educate university education and vocational school and health officials made in the training school in jimyeo. Duration of each is to the University of 5.5 years, college three years, health officer training school two years and various types of training methods (weekly, communication, special) is applied is positive. License test system is also in favor of the state graduation test graduation test committee of professors in the university college diploma than the national notification system, and pharmacists 'qualifications' - are licensed is granted. The North Korean education system pharmacists and pharmacist review and analysis test system for the future reunification of Korea oriented education system pharmacists and pharmacists in health care personnel office systems through correct understanding and awareness-will be a useful resource integration plan designed to pharmacists.
