Traditional business process management systems provide verification tools of process models to deploy and automate the models. However, there are not so many studies on how to maintain systematically collaborative process models such as supply chain processes when companies are willing to change and update the collaborative process models. In this paper, we analyze change patterns of collaborative processes and declare 19 change patterns. In addition, we apply the change patterns to the process interoperability patterns in order to identify the change problems in case of independent process changes of collaborative processes. As a result, we devise an independency checking algorithm of process changes in collaborative processes.
During system resource improvement process that based on Object-Oriented technology could be affect to the continuous system performance if lack appropriate management and control objects mechanism. This paper proposes a methodology to support continuous system performance and its stability. The adoption is based on Java Container Framework and Collections Framework for object collection. Also includes Software Engineering, Object Migration and Multiple Class Loaders mechanism accommodate to construct Continuous Migration Container (CMC). CMC is a runtime environment provides interfaces for management and control to support upgrading object process. Upgrade object methodology of CMC can be divided into two phase are object equivalence checking and object migration process. Object equivalence checking include object behavior verification and functional conformance verification before object migration process. In addition, CMC use Multiple Class Loaders mechanism to support reload effected classes instead of state transfer in migration process while upgrading object. These operations are crucial for system stability and enhancement efficiency.
This paper presents a cloud service called CDLint for checking and analyzing the Javascript code dynamically. The correctness of Javascript code is becoming more important since it can also run on the server side as well as the client side. There are several analysis systems for checking the bad code in JavaScript but they seem like have one or more weaknesses. CDLint is developed based on an existing work named DLint which is a powerful bad JavaScript checker. Compared with similar systems, CDLint shows the best performances with respect to the system extensibility, the freedom to use without installation, the automatic parsing of JavaScript code from website, and the environment configuration for JavaScript code checking.
Yaw-checking and course-keeping ability in IMO's ship manoeuvrability standards is reviewed from the viewpoint of safe operation. Three types of assumed series-ships, which have systematically different instability on course, are taken as tested models. The numerical simulation on Z-test is carried out in order to examine the correlation between known manoeuvrability and various kinds of overshoot angle. Then simulator experiments are executed with series-ships in situation of curved, narrow of waterway by five pilots in order to examine the correlation between known manoeuvrability and degree of manoeuvring difficulty. Three kinds of IMO's criterion concerning yaw-checking and course-keeping ability are discussed and new criteria are proposed.
One of the greatest dangers in mechanical face seals is the formation of heat checking and thermal stress cracks on the sliding surfaces. These thermal distortions due to non-uniform heating lead to increase the leakage of the sealed fluids and wear, and with balance of the seal can cause the seal faces to part. In this study heat checking and thermal stress cracks are investigated experimentally. These thermal distortions are explained using the thermal models of the conatct geometries between the seal ring and the seal seat. To overcome these thermal problems, the thermohydrodynamic seal is presented. The newly developed mechanical seal may substantially reduce the friction torque, frictional heating which causes heat checking and thermal stress cracks, and wear.

Expert systems for health diagnosis are only for medical experts who have deep knowledge in the field but we need a self-checking pre-diagnosis system for preventive public health monitoring. Korea Traditional Medicine is popular in use among Korean public but there exist few available health information systems on the internet. A computerized self-checking diagnosis system is proposed to reduce the social cost by monitoring health status with simple symptom checking procedures especially for Korea Traditional Medicine users. Based on the national reports for disease/symptoms of Korea Traditional Medicine, we build a reliable database and devise an intelligent inference engine using fuzzy c-means clustering. The implemented system gives five most probable diseases a user might have with respect to symptoms given by the user. Inference results are verified by Korea Traditional Medicine doctors as sufficiently accurate and easy to use.
CAD drawings contain drawing errors similar to manually produced drawings. This paper is concerned with a computer-aided drawing check system for the drawing errors. The problem treated in this paper is the checking of dimension errors, deficiency and redundancy of dimension lines in the mechanical drawings made by a CAD system. Graph theory is used for the checking of the deficient and redundant dimensions. The feasibility of this system is confirmed for the checking items.
In machining screws which are important members in mono pumps or progressive cavity pumps CNC turning center with 3 axes is usually used. This sort of screw machining requires large amount of CL data points and rotational tools are used in machining. When working out the CL data points consideration of possible tool interference is important in order to avoid undercut. This paper describes the checking methods of tool interference in the screw machining on the CNC turning center. First of all a specific shape of a screw cross-section that could commonly be applied to all screws was chosen and then possible tool interference associated with that shape was identified. Checking method was mathematically developed and verified. This checking method will be utilized in the CAM system developed by the authors for screw machining on the 3-axis CNC turning center.

Monitoring of water surfaces through permanent measurement of hydrodynamic and meteorological data is one of the main requirements in safe and sustainable water management. The Caspian Sea, the major surface water body in Iran, significantly affects more than 600 km of urban and industrial coastline. In the present work, an integrated marine monitoring network for the entire southern coastline of the Caspian Sea was developed. The main design concerns centered on the network measuring components and data recording, checking, filtering, gap recognition, and transferring systems. Four coastal monitoring stations were assigned, along with two regional collecting stations and one central data station for gathering, checking and delivering recorded data at different access levels. Applicable guidelines on selection of measuring devices for both shallow and deep water zones are presented herein.
