치형오차를 가진 헬리컬기어의 진동특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Vibration Characteristics of Helical Gears with Tooth Errors)

  • Gear vibration is caused by the mesh stiffness, gear accuracy, and assembling errors. For these reasons, helical gear has the azial, radial, and rotational vibrations. In this study, the mesh stiffness is calculated by considering the tooth bending, contact, and foundation deformations. Rotational vibration of helical gear with tooth error is modeled by the nonlidear equation of motion with single degree of freedom and is anlyzed numerically. Also, by a specially designed experimental set-up, the analysis are cross-checked and the vibration characteristics of helical gear are discussed.

헬리컬 기어계의 동적 전달오차의 예측 (The Prediction of the Dynamic Transmission Error for the Helical Gear System)

  • The purpose of this study is to predict the dynamic transmission error of the helical gear system. To do so, the equations of motion in the helical gear system which consists of motor, coupling, gear, torque sensor, and brake are derived. As the input parameters, the mass moment of inertia by a 3D CAD software and the equivalent stiffness of the bearings and shaft are calculated and the coupling stiffness is measured. The static transmission error as an excitation is calculated by in-house program. Dynamic transmission error is predicted by solving the equations of motion. Mode shape, the dynamic mesh force and the bearing force are also calculated. In this analysis, the relationship between the dynamic mesh force and the bearing force and mode shape behavior in gear mesh are checked. As a result, the magnitude of mesh force is highly related with the gear mesh behavior in mode shape. The finite element analysis is conducted to find out the natural frequency of gear system. The natural frequencies by finite element analysis have a good agreement with the results by equation of motion. Finally, dynamic transmission error is measured by the specially designed experiment and the results by equation of motion are validated.

  • 세계적으로 친환경자동차의 연구 및 개발이 확대되면서 주행거리를 증대시키기 위해 차량의 부가적인 장치를 축소·삭제하거나 경량화를 위한 연구를 진행하고 있다. 그 중 내연기관자동차에 적용되던 다단변속기를 삭제하고 감속기로 대체하여 모터출력 값 제어를 통해 토크증대로 초기구동력을 확보하고 있다. 하지만 잦은 모터의 속도변화로 부하가 상승되는 결과를 가져올 수 있기 때문에 본 연구에서는 일반적인 감속기구조를 갖는 소형·경량의 수동 2단 감속기를 개발하려고 한다. 따라서 평행축을 갖는 구조에 대기어와 소기어를 삽입하여 평행한 축의 감속기형태에서 V-벨트로 기어를 연결하고, 저단과 고단의 기어비를 각각 설정하여 2개의 기어비를 갖는 2단 변속기를 설계하였다. 또한 변속기의 회전속도와 부하에 따른 동력성능을 시험을 통해 확인하고 구동시 발생되는 발열특성을 확인하여 변속기의 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • To detect the failures in machine, the signals of current, vibration and acoustic emission are widely used in industry. And unexpected failures of gears are not only extremely damaging but also lead to economic losses. In this paper, to detect the misalignment occurred at between two gears in gearboxes, the signals of current, vibration and AE were measured at gearbox and motor power line. FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) was used for current and vibration signal analysis to find gear failure frequency. Especially, the envelop analysis and wavelet transform were applied for AE signal. Therefore, compared with the results of three kinds of signal, the possibility of earily detection by AE is identified or checked.

자동차 헬리컬기어의 하중전달 특성해석 (Analysis of Load Transmission Characteristics for Automobile Helical Gear)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a computer simulation program for analyzing load transmission characteristics of a helical gear system in design stage. In this analysis, the rotational delay, load distribution, root stress, and contact area are investigated. That is, the influence function of deflection is obtained by finite element analysis and the influence function of approach and gear tooth error are considered. Load distribution, rotational delay, and contact area are calculated by solving load-deflection equation which includes these influence functions and tooth error, and the influence function of the bending moment is obtained by finite element analysis. The root stress is calculated by the load distribution and the influence function of the bending moment. The results of the simulation are cross-checked through a specially designed experimental set-up.

4,50대 성인의 등산복에 대한 이미지, 개선점 및 착용쾌적감 (Image, improvements, and wear comfort of hiking gear of adults in their 40s and 50s)

  • This study finds information about the image and improvements of hiking gear and examines the influence of heat moisture, psychology, tactile sensation, and mobility/pressure related properties on wear comfort. The relationships of the four related properties and personal characteristics (such as sex, age, BMI and sensitivity) were also checked. Questionnaires were distributed to 400 people in their 40s and 50s; subsequently, 260 were used for data analysis. The questionnaires were comprised of questions about the general hiking characteristics, images and improvements in hiking gear, influence of the four properties on wear comfort, and demographic characteristics. Data were analyzed by frequency analysis, correlation analysis, ANOVA, T-test using SPSS 21 IBM for Windows. The results of this study are as follows. It was shown that people in their 40s and 50s usually went hiking two to four hours with friends or family once to three times a month. Jacket had the largest number of wearing frequency, followed by pants, t-shirts, and inner wear. Consumers' images of hiking gear were positive and the demands for improvements in hiking gear were price, unique design, and vivid color. The order of influence of the four properties on wear comfort was heat moisture, mobility/pressure, tactile sensation, and psychology related properties. The four properties of wear comfort were not influenced significantly by consumer sex, age, BMI, and sensibility.

  • The purpose of this study is to reduce the vibration noise of differential gear by reducing torque fluctuation of drive pinion shaft which causes vibration noise of differential gear in rear wheel drive vehicles. For this we developed multi-degree of freedom analysis model in which mass moment of inertia and torsional spring combined, the validity of the simulation model was checked by the field test and we examined the influence of torsional vibration of driveline elements by performing forced vibration analysis of engine excitation torque. We studied the methods for reducing torsional vibration of driveline according to the design factor of propeller shaft and examined the effects reducing vibration differential gear by applying flexible coupling.

  • Two methods for cold extrusion processes to produce an axisymmetric steel gear blank are investigated for comparing each other. The "classical" forming method consisting of four operations is selected first to be simulated using the rigid-plastic finite element method and uses single-die presses. The other using a fully automated transfer headers can produce the final part without interannealing. The final products must be checked at the design criteria such as area reduction, the extrusion ratio and punch diameter to depth ratio, especially punch buckling by simulations. FEM analysis is performed mainly for strain distribution, both process sequences are proved to have proper charicteristics suitable for each production method in terms of maximum load. Those simulation results will provide good design criteria in the future work to advance the manufacturing process.

  • This paper is about automatic design of measuring master gears. Master gears are usually thought of as gears of extreme accuracy level, but are better defined as gages to check the meshing action of production gears. This is usually not recognized because most mechanical gages are associated with static measurements rather than having the form of machine elements used in a functional check involving machine motion. In this paper the interface that allows beginners to design easily and quickly is provided. The addition and modification of data is easy and the reduced design lead time is feasible with the program even though users don't know much about program since it is developed with Visual Lisp and DCL.

  • 기어의 구조 안정성 및 치물림 성능을 분석하기 위하여 유한요소해석이 널리 사용된다. 본 연구에서는 스퍼 기어의 유한요소 모델링 조건이 해석 결과 및 간소화 효과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 기어 구조 해석의 간소화 방법으로 기어 몸체 및 잇수 간소화, 요소망 생성 방식, 접촉 및 마찰 조건, 해석 조건 등을 선정하였다. 기어의 성능해석 지표로써 1주기의 기어 치물림 사이클 동안의 정전달 오차를 계산하였고, 간소화 지표로써 해석 소요 시간을 측정하였다. 유한요소해석을 통해 치물림 주기에 따른 접촉 응력 분포 및 변화 양상을 확인하였다. 모델링 조건에 따라 최대 전달 오차와 해석 소요 시간에 차이를 확인하고 원인을 분석하였다.
