The fundamental property of magnesia phosphate cement (MPC) for concrete repair material was investigated in this research. For mechanical properties, setting time, compressive strength and tensile/flexural bond strength were measured, and hydration products were detected by X-ray diffraction. The specimens were manufactured with dead burnt magnesia and potassium dihydrogen phosphate was admixed to activate the hydration of magnesia and a borax was used as a retarder. To observe the pore structure and ionic permeability of MPC mortar, mercury intrusion porosimetry was performed together with rapid chloride penetration test (RCPT). As a result, time to set of Fresh MPC mortar was in range of 16 to 21 min depend on the M/P ratio. Borax helped delaying setting time of MPC to 68 min. The compressive strength of MPC with M/P of 4 was sharply developed to 30 MPa within 12 hours. The compressive strength of MPC mortar was in range of 11.0 to 30.0 MPa depend on the M/P ratio at 12 hours of curing. Both tensile and flexural bond strength of MPC to old substrate (i.e. MPC; New substrate to OPC; Old substrate) were even higher than ordinary Portland cement mortar (i.e. [OPC; New substrate] to [OPC; Old substrate]) does, accounting 19 and 17 MPa, respectively. The total pore volume of MPC mortar was lower than that of OPC mortar. MPC mortar had the entrained air void rather than capillary pore. The RCPT showed that total charge passed of OPC mortar had more than that of MPC mortar, which can be explained by the pore volume and pore distribution.
This study investigates fundamental properties of recycled aggregate concrete which incorporated 100% recycled coarse aggregate and various amount of recycled fine aggregate. In addition, for the purpose of the improvement of long term strength and durability, a part of cement was replaced with fly ash. Compressive strength and resistance to chloride ion penetration and carbonation were investigated. When the coarse aggregate was completely replaced with the recycled the replacement ratio of the fine aggregate with the recycled was recommended to be limited below 60% in the consideration of strength. The strength of the steam-cured specimen was very comparable to the wet-cured at 28 days. As fly ash content increased the resistance to chloride ion penetration was increased. The chloride ion penetrability based on the charge passed was found to be low at 21 days and very low at 56 days, respectively. Carbonation depth and carbonation velocity coefficient increased as the fly ash content increased and the relationship between the carbonation depth and recycled fine aggregate replacement ratio was not clear. Up to 28days, however, the measured carbonation depth was mostly less than 10mm which could be considered as low.
Porous ceramics for water-permeable paving brick was prepared by the sintering of mixed materials comprising of sewage sludge ash, waste porcelain fragment, waste glaze and low-grade clay at 1,000$^{\circ}C$ for 2 h, and the physical $.$mechanical properties, the permeability and the freeze-thaw resistance of specimens with preparation parameters were investigated. The physical mechanical properties were increased in specimens while porosity and permeability were decreased with increasing sewage sludge ash content and sintering temperature on the properties of specimens showed the opposite results. The bulk density, porosity, compressive strength and permeability (passed charge) of 30A60F specimens with 30 wt% of sewage sludge ash content, waste porcelain fragment size with 1∼2 mm and sintered at 1,000$^{\circ}C$ for 2 h were 2.17, 46.2%, 221 kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ and 3,150 coulombs, respectively. The permeability was increased with increasing waste porcelain fragment size, however compressive strength was decreased. The freeze-thaw resistance of 30A60F specimen with 1∼2 mm of fragment size was superior to that of the other specimens. The 30A60F specimens can be used for the water-permeable paving brick with the high permeability and adequate strength. The heavy metals included in the all specimens showed lower than the standard level.

The use of ternary blended cement consisting of Portland cement, granulated blast-furnace slag (GGBFS) and fly ash has been on the rise to improve marine concrete structure's resistance to chloride attack. Therefore, this study attempted to investigate changes in chloride attack resistibility of concrete through NT Build 492-based chloride migration experiments and test of concrete's ability to resist chloride ion penetration under ASTM C 1202(KS F 2271) when 1.5-2.0% of alkali-sulfate activator (modified alkali sulfate type) was added to the ternary blended cement mixtures (40% ordinary Portland cement + 40% GGBFS + 20% fly ash). Then, the results found the followings: Even though the slump for the plain concrete slightly declined depending on the use of the alkali-sulfate activator, compressive strength from day 2 to day 7 improved by 17-42%. In addition, the coefficient from non-steady-state migration experiments for the plain concrete measured at day 28 decreased by 36-56% depending on the use of alkali-sulfate. Furthermore, total charge passed according to the test for electrical indication of concrete's ability to resist chloride ion penetration decreased by 33-62% at day 7 and by 31-48% at day 28. As confirmed in previous studies, reactivity in the GGBFS and fly ash improved because of alkali activation. As a result, concrete strength increased due to reduced total porosity.

The set accelerator used for shotcrete at high pH environment often causes the dusting problem in practice. In this research, a slurry-type set accelerator was developed to avoid this problem and its effectiveness was investigated by applying it to shotcrete mortars. Set time, stiffening, compressive strength, and chloride ion penetration resistance were examined with different amounts of slag, used as partial replacement of cement. According to the experimental results, it was found that the earlier responses such as set time, stiffening, and 1-day compressive strength were probably affected by the amount of ettringite, formulated by the hydration between C12A7 and calcium sulfate polymorphs present in blast furnace slag. Whereas, it is believed that the result of compressive strength after 3 days was attributed to the hydration of tricalcium silicates. As for the results of a chloride ion penetration test, the partial replacement of cement with slag significantly reduced the total charge passed through the shotcrete mortar.
Significant damage to concrete results from the intrusion of corrosive solutions, for example, dissolved chlorides corrode reinforcing steel and cause spatting. Effectively blocks the penetration of these solutions will eliminate or greatly reduce this damage and lead to increased durability. This study is to investigate the effects of pozzolanic admixtures, fly ash and silica fume, and a blast furnace slag on the chloride ion penetration of concretes. The main experimental variables wore the water-cementitious material ratios, the types and amount of admixtures, and the curing time. And it is tested for the porosity and pore size distributions of cement paste, chloride ion permeability based on electrical conductance, and 180-day ponding test for chloride intrusion. The results show that the resistance of concrete to the penetration of chloride ions increases as the w/c was decreased, and the increasing of curing time. Also, concrete with pozzolans exhibited higher resistance to chloride ion penetration than the plain concrete. The significant reduction in chloride ion permeability(charge passed) of concrete with pozzolans due to formation of a discontinuous macro-pore system which inhibits flow. It is shown that there is a relationship between chloride ion permeability and depth of chloride ion penetration of concrete, based on the pore structure (porosity and pore size distributions) of cement paste.
Electric arc furnace slag is made in ironworks during steel refining, it is been increasing chemical and physical resistibility using ageing method of unstable state of melting steel slag for using concrete's fine aggregates. Which is been changing stable molecular structure of aggregates, it restrains moving of ion and molecule. In Korea, KS F 4571 has been prepared for using the electric arc furnace oxidizing slag to concrete aggregates(EFS). In this study, Electric arc furnace oxidizing slag is used in the PRCC(Polymer Rapid setting Cement Concrete) which is applied a bridge pavement of rehabilitation, largely. The results showed that the increment of compressive strength development by 10- 20%. The flexural strength of EFS-Con increased greatly as the electric arc furnace oxidizing slag changed. The compressive strength and flexural strength developed enough for opening the overlayed EFS-Con to the traffic after 4 hours of EFS-Con placement. The permeability of EFS-Con was evaluated as negligible due to its very low charge passed. Thus, EFS-Con could be used at repairing or overlaying the concrete at fast-track job sites.
The purpose of this paper is to understand characteristics and trends of calligraphy styles through the analysis of handwriting. Renowned Calligraphy of Korea (海東名迹, Haedong Myeongjeok) is the first collection of famous Korean calligraphers' masterpieces and was published by Shin Gongje (申公濟, 1469-1536) in the early sixteenth century. While my previous studies have focused on analyzing the publishing backgrounds of and differences among the wood block editions and stone-carved editions of the various remaining copies of Renowned Calligraphy of Korea, this study examines the calligraphy style in the early Joseon period as represented within the collection itself. This study tries to identify the aspects of style transitions among two categories of calligraphy: (1) the calligraphy style of scribes who were in charge of documentation in the central administrative institutions (館閣) and (2) the calligraphy style passed down among the Goryeong Shin clan (高靈申氏). This study verifies that various styles which emerged based on the influence of the revivalism of the late Yuan dynasty gained acceptance in the early Joseon period while the traditional Wang Xizhi style was still in use. The most notable revelation of this study is that the calligraphy style of Kangli Naonao (康里??), a Yuan dynasty calligrapher from a remote region to the west of China, appears to have become acceptable during this period. Indeed, various Yuan dynasty styles were flowing into Korea during the late Goryeo and the early Joseon period that stand in contrast to Zhao Mengfu's "pine-snow calligraphy style." Finally, the authenticity of the Eo Sukguan (魚叔權)'s record in A Storyteller's Miscellany (稗官雜記, Paegwanjapgi) is reviewed in this study. Eo claims that writing attributed to Park Gyeong in Renowned Calligraphy of Korea was actually Shin Jageon's. However, the analysis of the relationship between Shin and Park based on their backgrounds and their political positions suggests that Eo's claim is not valid.
Intangible cultural heritage is formless. It's of importance to preserve heritage in line with society drastically being transformed. It's passed down by human being. It is, on the other hand, impossible to preserve intangible cultural heritage solely based on memory, for it's changed in succession. Thus, it be archived to pass down. This study investigated on the state of affair related with Intangible cultural heritage documentations, examined the shortages thereupon. Furthermore, Training center should be in charge of documentation for a solution. This will provide an opportunity to overcome the limitations attributed to the top-down documentation system by central administrative organ, to open up the possibility of viewpoint of different successors, organizations. In addition to that, Intangible cultural heritage documents should be of different aspects of community history. Features of Intangible cultural heritages, which are convergent to the Regionality, tendency of variation, transmission, can be magnified when documentating. Finally, Training center is going to play a major role being vitalised. The record management of intangible cultural heritage, institutions and policies about Intangible cultural heritage have been highly complicated since National Intangible Heritage Center opened and the law on Intangible cultural heritage enacted with its recognition attracted. Therewith this study wishes to see a cornerstone of records on intangible cultural heritage by laying stress on training center in which educations and pass-down of intangible cultural heritage are lively achieved.

The adhered mortars in recycled aggregate may lower the performance of the concrete, such as by reducing in strength and durability, and cracking. In the present study, the effects of nylon fiber (NF) on the mechanical and durable properties of 100% ordinary portland cement (OPC) and 50% ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBFS) concretes incorporating recycled coarse aggregate (RA) were experimentally investigated. Concrete was produced by adding 0 and $0.6kg/m^3$ of NF and then cured in water for the predetermined period. Measurements of compressive and split tensile strength, water permeable pore and total charge passed through concrete were carried out, and the corresponding test results were compared with those of concrete incorporating crushed coarse aggregate (CA). In addition, the microstructures of 28-day concretes were observed by using SEM technique. Test results revealed that the RA concrete showed lower performance than CA concrete because of the adhered mortars in RA. However, it was obvious that the addition of NF in RA concrete was much effective in enhancing the performance of the concretes due to the bridge effect from NF. In particular, the application of NF2 (19 mm) exhibited a somewhat beneficial effect compared with concrete incorporating NF1 with respect to mechanical properties, especially for RA concrete.
