지역주민 태도에 의한 수변공간 개발 형태 분석 - 여주시를 중심으로 - (An Analysis of Waterfront Development Type based on Residents' Attitudes - Focused on Yeoju-Si -)

  • 최근 몇 년간 수변공간 개발에 대한 관심이 증가하면서 지속가능한 지역균형 발전을 목표로 하는 지역개발 정책 및 사업이 증가하였다. 이러한 과정에서 생활환경 변화에 대한 지역문제가 발생하게 되었고, 지역주민태도를 반영한 개발계획의 중요성이 부각되었다. 본 연구에서는 새로 조성된 수변공간에 대하여 허용 가능한 개발형태 분석 및 향후 개발목표를 설정하기 위해, 사회교환이론을 바탕으로 지역주민 태도를 고려하여 LAC 시스템의 첫 번째 단계에 대한 분석을 실시하였다. 이를 위해 여주시 지역주민 240명을 대상으로 수변공간 개발에 대한 주민태도, 허용 가능한 수변공간 개발형태, 주민특성을 설문하였다. 설문한 데이터에 대한 기술통계분석, 요인분석을 실시한 뒤, 수변공간 개발에 대한 주민태도에 따른 허용 가능한 개발 형태를 알아보기 위해 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 다음으로 거주특성과 수변공간 개발에 대한 주민태도와의 차이를 알아보기 위해 기술통계분석, 요인분석, T-test, 일원분산분석(one-way ANOVA)를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 여주시 지역주민들이 허용하는 수변공간 개발 형태는 자연교육중심 개발 형태라는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며, 거주지역에 따라 수변공간 개발에 대한 형태에 차이가 나타나는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 수변공간의 개발 및 관리 목적을 설정하고, LAC 후속단계인 휴양자원 등급화의 적용범위에 대한 기준을 마련할 수 있었다.

임대주택 거주자의 에너지 관련 의식 및 소비특성 연구 (A Study on the Energy Consciousness and Consumer's Characteristics for Occupants of the Public Rental Housing)

  • 본 연구에서는 공사의 중점적 업무인 임대주택 부문을 대상으로 거주자의 에너지 소비실태, 거주 만족도 및 에너지 절약 방안을 분양주택 거주자와 비교를 통하여 그 차이를 분석하고 효율적인 에너지 대응방안을 모색 하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 임대주택 거주자의 에너지 지출 비용은 분양주택 거주자에 비하여 가스, 전력 모두 약 절반 수준으로 조사되었으나, 전력의 경우 실제 소비량의 차이는 약 30% 수준으로 큰 차이를 보이지 않았으며 이는 가전기기의 보유수, 용량 등에 기인하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 분양, 임대 모두 현재의 에너지 소비지출에 대한 부담 수준에서 "부담되지 않음", "약간 부담"이라는 응답비율이 전체의 80%이상을 차지하고 있으며 이는 삶의 질적 향상 요구와 함께 임대주택 부문에서도 에너지 소비가 증가 할 수 있음을 의미하고 있다. 에너지 절약 방안의 효과성과 필요성에 대한 IPA결과 분양주택 거주자에 비하여 상대적으로 임대주택 거주자가 절약에 대한 관심 및 의식수준이 낮은 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 에너지 정보 제공에 대한 부분을 저평가하는 것으로 분석되는 등 임대주택 거주자에 대한 적극적인 에너지 대응이 필요한 것으로 조사되었다. 이를 위해서는 에너지 소비에 대한 관심도와 중요도에 대한 의식전환의 계기를 제공할 필요가 있으며 임대주택 거주자들을 대상으로 하는 에너지 관련 교육 및 홍보 등의 노력이 필요한 것으로 판단된다.

장기요양 시설서비스 식사재료비 크기 결정요인 분석 (Determinant Factors in Cost to Feed for Long-Term Care Facilities Residents)

  • Background: The food and food service influence the quality of life and the general health condition of older persons living in long-term care (LTC) facilities. Purchasing good food materials is a ground of good food service. In Korea, the residents in LTC facilities should pay for the cost of food materials and ingredients out of their pocket because it is not covered by LTC insurance. This study explored what factors affect the cost of food materials paid by LTC facility residents and which factor affects most. Methods: We used data from the study on out-of-pocket payment on national LTC insurance, which surveyed 1,552 family caregivers of older residents in LTC facilities. We applied conditional multi-level model, of which the first level represents the characteristics of care receivers and caregivers and its second level reflects those of LTC facilities. Results: We found that the facility residents with college-graduated family caregivers paid 11,545 Korean won more than those with less than elementary-graduated ones. However, the income level of family caregivers did not significantly affect the amount of the food material cost of the residents. The residents in privately owned, large, metropolitan-located facilities were likely to pay more than those in other types of facilities. The amount of the food material cost of the residents was mainly decided by the facility level factors rather than the characteristics of care recipients and their family caregivers (intra-class correlation=82%). Conclusion: These findings suggest that it might be effective to design a policy targeting facilities rather than residents in order to manage the cost of food materials of residents in LTC facilities. Setting a standard price for food materials in LTC facilities, like Japan, could be suggested as a feasible policy option. It needs to inform the choice of LTC users by providing comparable food material cost information. The staffing requirement of nutritionist also needs to be reviewed.

지역주민 특성과 인지도가 공공병원 이용경험에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Personal Characteristics and Public Hospitals Awareness by Community Residents on use-experience of Public Hospitals)

  • Purpose: This study aims to explore the effects of personal characteristics, satisfaction, quality of care, role performance, image, awareness level of public hospitals perceived by community residents on use-experience of public hospitals. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted with 2,100 community residents around 39 district public hospitals. The questionnaire was designed to collected information on personal characteristics and community awareness of public hospitals. The community awareness consists of 5 factors and 15 items. The data were collected utilizing call-interview by a survey company. Results: The personal characteristic and community awareness were shown significant differences between having use-experience and not-having use-experience of public hospitals (p<.001), except gender. As the results of multiple logistic regression, the significant variables of use-experience of public hospitals were satisfaction (OR=1.06 95%CI=1.010-1.116), quality of care (OR=1.07, 95%CI=1.016-1.134, level of awareness to public hospitals (OR=1.50, 95%CI=1.378-1.632), age (OR=0.43, 95%CI=0.236-0.785), education (OR=1.62, 95%CI=1.013-2.590), type of medical security (OR=0.37, 95%CI=0.142-0.945). Conclusions: Public hospitals have to effort to improve community awareness through providing quality of care, and role performance. It is possible to support them by the Central and Local Government.

공모전 수상작 사례분석을 통한 지원주택의 공간특성 분석 (Analysis on Spatial Characteristics of Supportive Housing through Case Study of Competition Award-winning Works)

  • This study intends to identify the spatial characteristics by carrying out the case studies of supportive housing examples of the Top Ten Projects awarded by the AIA Committee on Environments. Information of 7 awarded works was collected and content analysis was made according to design concepts and spatial compositions. As a result, the major design concepts applied to the examples were categorized into 5 points of regeneration of community, accessibility to the community, enhancement of spatial capability, participation and consensus of stakeholders and resident support services. Many supportive houses were built as a project to regenerate the deprived area and to reactivate the community through supplying supportive houses. In addition, supportive houses were developed by independent house type and shared house type and diverse scopes and sizes of community spaces were provided by including residents' exclusive community spaces that provide diverse services to vulnerable residents in addition to individual residential spaces and the community spaces that promote the consensus of residents and community people. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic material that provides the direction of desirable spatial design for introducing supportive housings in Korea.

하얼빈 국제빙설제의 사례로 본 겨울축제의 방문동기 및 시장 세분화 연구 (A Study on the Motivation and Market Segmentation of the Winter Festival as a Case of Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to derive sub-group of Chinese residents to Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival through market segmentation and to identify their characteristics of each group. Design/methodology/approach - The survey was conducted with a total of 405 Chinese residents, and empirical analysis was conducted using SPSS program. Findings - As a result of the analysis, four factors were derived. Based on the factors, four sub-markets were derived by conducting cluster analysis for market segmentation. Market strategies for each sub-group were discussed based on significant differences between clusters according to demographic characteristics. Research implications or Originality - The results of this study contribute to find out potential target market of Chinese residents, and to provide data for better positing of Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival.

코하우징에 적용된 커뮤니티 개념의 계획기법에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Planning Skills Applied to the Community Concept in Cohousing)

  • Turning into the 21st century, there are great demands for the diversification of housing style and amenity of housing, which include enhancing community life through proper collective environment. To solve these problems, cohousing has been introduced in Scandinavian countries. A primary goal of cohousing is the desire of residents to live in a socially supportive setting. People can do housework together and also can promote active mutual relationship among residents in the community. Physical feature of cohousing, in combination with social organization factors, nay serve to enhance or support the sense of community sought by residents. In this point of view, the purpose of this study is to consider the characteristics of planning factors applied to the community concept in cohousing. First consideration is to figure out the planning skills on community concept in housing community. Then, by making clear the planning factors on community concept in cohousing through case study, this paper could suggest a possibility of application of cohousing in Korea.

GIS-Based Research on Location and Spatial Characteristics of the Slum in Daejeon

  • This study performed GIS and statistical analyses on the location and spatial characteristics of the slum in Daejeon. Spatial data of 648 slum residents in Daejeon were collected and 131 residents among them were surveyed. The results showed the trends of higher rent, lower social exclusion and closer neighboring relations in slum center than the surrounding areas, which could be interpreted as the interrelated multilateral effects of the micro- (housing), meso- (relations), exo- (community) and macro- (government policy) systems. The strong bonds among neighbors and various supports from social service facilities elevated the slum area's rent and diminished residents' social exclusion more than housing conditions (for instance, poor hygiene and low safety). Slum tenants willingly paid a premium for their substandard housings and refused moving to governmentally provided modern housing units. In urban development, administrative authorities need to be cautious about slum uprooting. Much rather an alternative renewal approach is needed which protects the slum's intimate relations while improving its overall living standards.

주민참여형 생태마을의 계획요소 활용 방법에 대한 연구 (A study on the Planning Element Utilization Method of Resident Participating Eco-Village)

  • This paper is intended to deduce the planning elements of Eco-village through theory contemplation and preceding researches in order to be used as practical data of resident participating Eco-village by contemplating characteristics demonstrated in planning element utilization methods within the village. Resident participating Eco-village aims for residents who will reside in the relevant village to participate from village plans to construction. Unlike other Eco-village, residents of resident participating Eco-village make decisions autonomically through planning direction, planning elements, discussions and meetings, which are uniquely distinctive from other Eco-villages. It appears, however, that analysis on the planning element utilization methods of resident participating Eco-village is inadequate. There are various methods of village resident participation, and the methods cannot rule out the close relationship with planning elements. Hence, programs for resident participation should be devised at the time of village planning. Resident participating Eco-village should suggest measures and guidelines through finding problems in order to implement sustainable and environment-friendly life that prevent a retrograde step.

정보화된 군사시설이전요인과 주민특성과의 관계에 관한 연구 (Study on the Military factors and previous information on the relationship between population characteristics)

  • 국방부에서는 정보화된 군사시설 이전이 어느 때 보다 필요하다. 주민들은 군사시설이 이전해 오는 것은 부정적으로 생각하고 있다. 연구결과 대부분의 주민들은 군사시설이전을 긍정적으로 생각하고 있는 반면 일부 주민들은 부정적으로 생각하고 있었다. 국방부에서는 본 연구를 참고하여 주민과의 관계를 개선 한다면 향후 군사시설이전이 용이할 것으로 본다.
