Objectives: This study examined the relationship among personality characteristics, eating habits and food neophobia of high school students. Methods: A self-administered questionnaire was applied to 512 students who were in the first and second grade in four different high schools in Gyeong-gi-province. The questionnaire was designed to examine the personality characteristics, eating habits, and food neophobia. Results: The personality characteristics of both boys and girls had intimacy, openness/intelligence, extroversion, sincerity, and emotional stability from highest to lowest. The girls (2.00) had better eating habits than the boys (1.90)(p<0.05). To examine the level of food neophobia using the FNS (Food Neophobia Scale), girls tended to score higher in the FNS than boys (36.36 vs. 34.06). The relationship between the personal characteristics and eating habits showed a positive correlation (p<0.01). The relationship between the personal characteristics and food neophoia revealed a negative correlation with all personal characteristics (p<0.01). Conclusions: The findings of the study confirmed the relationship among personal characteristics, eating habits, and food neophobia. This study is expected to provide ways to teach teenagers how to support their proper eating habits and personality characteristics.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the survival characteristics of the restaurant business by trade area type (major and side street). By the increase of the unemployment rate, the new foundation of selt-employment type is increasing. However, due to high competition and economic recession, the sustainability of new foundation is not high. Therefore, in this study, survival analysis was performed considering the individual and commercial characteristics focused on the ordinary restaurants. The major findings are as follow. First, the characteristics of parcel unit and adjacent area have a significant effect on the survival. This means the micro-scopic spatial characteristics should be considered for survival in the location choice. Second, the regional economic characteristics in trade area have a significant effect on survival. Furthermore, these characteristics are different by the trade area type. Third. the development characteristics have a different effect on survival by the building usage and trade area type. Finally, regional economic characteristics have a significant effect on survival. These results are expected to be used as basic data for commercial location selection and trade area analysis system in the private and public sectors.

In this paper, linearized dynamic characteristics of parallel line pivoted pad thrust bearing(hereinafter refer to PLP thrust bearing) was analyzed by perturbation method with inlet pressure. Inlet pressure and excitation frequency irfluence dynamic characteristics of PLP thrust bearing at all operating condition, such as angular pivot position, mass of pad. Therefore, the characteristics is have to analyzed with inlet pressure, excitation frequency, mass of pad and thickness of pad. Otherwise, the analysis is able to estimate the characteristics over or under.

In this study, electrochemical characteristics variation and removal efficiency with initial pH and mineral compositions during electrokinetic remediation of lead contaminated soils were investigated. Test results showed that heavy metal transportation affected by soil characteristics and electrochemical characteristics varied during electrokinetic remediation. Therefore, in the application of enhanced electrokinetic remediation technique to increase removal efficiency, discrete selection of enhanced technique with characteristics of targeted soil were needed.

For the accident prevention, it is necessary to identify common factors and characteristics contributing to the industrial accidents. This study concerned with the accident characteristics by age of injured person in the manufacturing industries. To make the statistical comparisons for the accident characteristics by age group, we derived the distributions of occupational injuries in terms of accident time, accident type, activity at time of accident, injury type, injured part of body, agency of accident, and workday losses. The results show that the characteristics of the occupational injuries by age group are not significantly different in a31 characteristics investigated in this study.

The purpose of this research was to study the influence of machining characteristics for aluminum alloys. The effect of metallic microstructural variables on the measures of machinability of aluminum alloys has no been adequately investigated. Machining Characteristics are influenced significantly by mechanical characteristics, composition and structure of material etcs. For improvement of machining characteristics, various studies are reported. In this paper, composition elements add to aluminum alloys within the limit of sustaining mechanical characteristics of metallic material. We have analyzed dynamic characteristics of cutting resistance, tensile strength value, hardness value etcs.

Job characteristics have influence on the organizational effectiveness. The job characteristics are the core job dimension and organizational effectiveness. Aptitude and personality also act on job characteristics. In this study, we investigate chinese characters by province and city. The purpose of this study is to develop the job characteristics and organizational effectiveness model for chinese by province and city. Consequently, we suggest to be applied the model to korean finns strategically, which push into China, by view of improvement of organizational effectiveness and adaptation in China.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to provide basic data in order to increase the flourish of early childhood pre-service teachers by examining pre-service teacher's basic psychological needs and characteristics on flourish. Methods: A questionnaire survey was conducted on 200 pre-service teachers majoring in early childhood education in Busan and the results were analyzed. Results: First, the level of basic psychological needs, characteristics and flourish of pre-service teachers was above average and there was a significant positive correlation between basic psychological needs, characteristics and flourish. Second, the characteristics of pre-service teachers were relatively more influential on flourish than basic psychological needs. Conclusion/Implications: The main variables predicting early childhood pre-service teacher's flourish are characteristics and basic psychological needs. And as characteristics and basic psychological needs of pre-service teachers are promoted, the flourish of pre-service teachers is increased.

The objective of this work was to simulate lead frame etching characteristics to optimize the etching process, Characteristics such as the etching factor and uniformity were investigated for different actual operating conditions, including pressure, distance from the nozzle tip, pipe pitch, and feed speed. The correlation between the etching and spray characteristics was analyzed to develop the etching model. Spray characteristics obtained from an experiment using a phase Doppler anemometer system were then simulated using a Monte-Carlo technique, The etching process model was coded in the Java language, The spray and etching characteristics were correlated with each other and simulated results agreed well with the measured data for a lead frame etching process, The optimal operating parameters under various conditions were successfully determined.

In the study, the interaction characteristics among incident waves, run-up and internal waterlevel at core layer of breakwaters were investigated. The effect of core materials on the internal waterlevel characteristics are also discussed using the results with both regular and irregular wave tests. The main results obtained are as follows; The higher internal waterleve was observed under the permeable breakwater with core layer of the lower permeability than with the higher one. And, the internal waterlevl decreased as far as the distance from the toe. In the irregular wave test, the grouping characteristics of incident waves make large fluctuation of the waterlevel. Especially, breakwaters internal waterlevel appeared to affect the hydraulic characteristics on slope.
