This paper describes an equalizer using the DFE (Decision Feedback Equalizer) structure, CMA (Constant Modulus Algorithm) and LMS (Least Mean Square) algorithms. The DFE structure has better channel adaptive performance and lower BER than the transversal structure. The proposed equalizer can be used for 16/64 QAM modems. We employ high speed multipliers, square logics and many CSAs (Carry Save Adder) for high speed operations. We have developed floating-point models and fixed-point models using the COSSAP$\^$TM/ CAD tool and developed VHDL filter. The proposed equalizer shows low BER in multipath fading channel. We have performed models. From the simulation results, we employ a 12 tap feedback filter and a 8 tap feedforward logic synthesis using the SYNOPSYS$\^$TM/ CAD tool and the SAMSUNG 0.5$\mu\textrm{m}$ standard cell library (STD80) and verified function and timing simulations. The total number of gates is about 130,000.

In this paper, we propose an alternative method to increase the distortion cancellation bandwidth of an analog RF feedback power amplifier by using a negative group delay circuit(NGDC). A limited distortion cancellation bandwidth due to the group delay(GD) mismatch discouraged the use of feedback technique in spite of its powerful linearization performance. With the fabricated NGDC with positive phase slope over frequency, the feedback amplifier of the proposed topology experimentally achieved adjacent channel leakage ratio(ACLR) improvement of 15 dB over 50 MHz bandwidth at wideband code division multiple access(WCDMA) downlink band when tested with 2-carrier WCDMA signal. At an average output power of 28 dBm, ACLR of 25.1 dB is improved to obtain -53.2 dBc at 5 MHz offset.

In this paper, we propose a decision feedback equalizer based on LDPC(Low Density Parity Check) code for the fast processing and performance improvement in OFDM system. LDPC code has good error correcting capability and its performance approaches the Shannon capacity limit. However, it has longer parity check matrix and needs more iteration numbers. In our proposed system, MSE(Mean Square Error) of signal between decision device and decoder is fed back to equalizer. This proposed system can improve BER performance because it corrects estimated channel response more accurately. In addition, the proposed system can reduce complexity because it has a lower number of iterations than system without feedback at the same performance. Simulation results evaluate and show the performance of OFDM system with the CFO and phase noise in multipath channel.

In this paper, an antenna selection scheme is proposed in massive multi-user multiple input multiple output (MU-MIMO) systems. The proposed antenna selection scheme can achieve almost the same performance as a conventional scheme while significantly reducing the overhead of feedback by using deep reinforcement learning (DRL). Each user compares the channel gains of massive antennas in base station (BS) to the L-largest channel gain, converts them to one-bit binary numbers, and feed them back to BS. Thus, the feedback overhead can be significantly reduced. In the proposed scheme, DRL is adopted to prevent the performance loss that might be caused by the reduced feedback information. We carried out extensive Monte-Carlo simulations to analyze the performance of the proposed scheme and it was shown that the proposed scheme can achieve almost the same average sum-rates as a conventional scheme that is almost optimal.

To improve the bandwidth efficiency in the environment of digital mobile communications, a correlative coded FM system is designed. The signal of this system has continuous phase and high power efficiency due to the constant envelope. But this signal also has a little loss of the SNR and some degradation of the BER. In this paper, a modified MLSE method which uses correlative coded signal is adopted to improve the performance of the receiver. The MLSE method improved the BER performance in the used channel. Without the decision feedback, the receiver performance was improved by 2dB and with it, by 4dB Particularly, the MLSE method and the decision feedback showed better performance in bad channels than in a stable telephone channel.

For low complexity encoder, the parity bit transmission through a feedback channel is an essential part of DVC. But feedback channel-based parity bit control is a major cause for the high decoding time latency. In this paper, we propose a fast distributed video decoding by parity bit request estimation using rate-distortion model. Through computer simulations, it is shown that the proposed method can achieve complexity reduction compared to other methods.

Applying channel state information feedback scheme based on codebook for FDD downlink MIMO system to massive MIMO system directly causes following two problems. First, codebook generation becomes hard because resources needed for codebook generation increases exponentially in the number of antennas. In addition, long time is needed for channel state information feedback because users's codebook search time increases linearly in the number of antennas. This paper proposes a codebook generation scheme and a codebook search scheme which can reduce resource for codebook generation and codebook search time drastically though they have similar performance as conventional approaches.
In this paper, we introduce the appoaches that aim to improve user experience in mobile device by the use of multiple vibration signal feedback, conducted by Haptics and Virtual Reality laboratory at POSTECH. We introduce current progresses of our 'Vibrotactile flow using multiple vibration actuators' and 'Real-time dual-channel haptic music player.' The 'Vibrotactile flow using multiple vibration actuators' produces vibrotactile flow sensations by using multiple actuators and that improves the information transfer on mobile devices. The 'Real-time dual-channel haptic music player' generates vibrotactile sensation by transforming auditory signal, which improves the user experience of mobile devices. These approaches can be good examples to fulfill the demands of better information transfer capability and user experience on mobile devices.
Recently, a joint channel estimation, channel quantization, feedback, and precoding system based on deep-neural network (DNN) was proposed. The corresponding system achieved a joint optimization based on deep learning such that it achieved a higher sum rate than the existing codebook-based precoding systems. However, this DNN-based procoding system is not directly applicable for the environments with many users such that a specific user selection can potentially increase the sum rate of the system. Thus, in this letter, we study an appropriate user selection method suitable for DNN-based precoding.
Space-time code is a good solution to get transmit diversity. During the last years a number of space-time block codes have been proposed for use in multiple transmit antenna systems. This code, however, was presented only for the special case of the certain numbers of transmit antennas and the certain modulation schemes. and designed under the assumption that the transmitter has no knowledge about the channel. In this work, on the other hand, we consider the case when the transmitter has partial, but not perfect knowledge about the channel. This system can have full diversity for arbitrary number of the transmit antennas with a little bits of feedback.
