We present a personalized clothing recommender system - one that mines association rules from transaction described in ontologies and infers a recommendation from the rules. The recommender system can forecast frequently changing trends of clothing using the Onto-Apriori algorithm, and it makes appropriate recommendations for each users possible through the inference marked as meta nodes. We simulates the rule generator and the inferential search engine of the system with focus on accuracy and efficiency, and our results validate the system.

In this paper, We are composed the position recognition and speed control using the moving robot in the shield Room with a RF Module and Ultrasonic Sensors. Double look up tables are selected a reference value/duty ratio. The moving robot with the dual fuzzy rules which can decrease a Conversion time than basic fuzzy control rules at start point and curve region. Also, a changing times of double look up table are rise at specific points b1,c1,d1 in the e-${\Delta}e$ phase plane and the one of the look up table is used which for increase rising time at transition area, the other used for rapidly conversion to the reference value. We verified that a dual fuzzy control rules get the good response compare with the basic fuzzy control rule.

The purpose of this study is to make a suggestion on the Korean cataloging rules (KCR) for personal name access points. KCR4 revised in 2003 has been criticized in the absence of related rules. To the end, this study investigates (1) the objectives and functions of personal name access points in the changing bibliographic universe, (2) the detailed rules for persons in RDA and new NCR, and (3) the cases of personal name access points in LC(Library of Congress), NDL(National Diet Library in Japan) authority records. (4) Based on theses, suggested are rules and examples for recording attributes and the authorized access points of persons in KCR to be revised. The data were collected from literature review, the case study, and the interviews with catalogers.

H-CSR(Harmonized Common Structural Rules) integrating CSR-BC(Common Structural Rules for Bulk Carriers) and CSR-OT(Common Structural Rules for Double Hull Oil Tankers) came into effect in July of 2015, so that bulk carrier and double hull oil tanker should comply with this rules. So far, several studies for trend analysis of requirements of structure scantling based on H-CSR have been carried out briskly. However, those studies are rare to apply H-CSR in actual structural design of ships, especially bulk carriers. In this study, an automated system for compartment arrangement is used to search the design case that minimizes still water bending moment(S.W.B.M) in 38k bulk carrier designed by Far East Ship Design & Engineering Co. Ltd. Also, various structural design cases are considered by changing arrangement of structural members to reduce ship weight. The SeaTrust-Hullscan software developed by Korean Register is used to perform structural design of ships based on mother ship and proper design cases are selected by user. The DSA(Direct Strength Analysis) is performed to evaluate structural safety for the yielding and buckling analysis by using MSC Nastran software. The effect of weight reduction is verified by comparison of ship weight between mother ship and the selected design cases.
To survive in the rapidly changing business environment, it is very important for companies to respond to the changing environment effectively as well as agilely. As an approach to appropriately respond to the changing environment, companies have developed and exploited various business rules and related knowledge and attempted to implement them through information systems. However, most of legacy information systems used in companies have suffered from the limitations that do not properly utilize and systematically organize the business rules. This study proposes an introduction of BRE (business rule engine) as a solution to cope with the limitations and explores its effect on organizational agility based the case analysis of "W" Investment and securities Co., Ltd.

In ubiquitous environment, data are changing rapidly and new data is coming as times passes. And sometimes all of the past data will be lost if there is not sufficient space in memory. Therefore, there is a need to make rules and combine it with new data not to lose all the past data or to deal with large amounts of data. In making decision trees and extracting rules, the weight of each of rules is generally determined by the total number of the class at leaf. The computational problem of finding a minimum finite state acceptor compatible with given data is NP-hard. We assume that rules extracted are not correct and may have the loss of some information. Because of this precondition. this paper presents a new approach for refining rules. It controls their weight of rules of previous knowledge or data. In solving rule refinement, this paper tries to make a variety of rules with pruning method with majority and minority properties, control weight of each of rules and observe the change of performances. In this paper, the decision tree classifier with extended data expression having static weight is used for this proposed study. Experiments show that performances conducted with a new policy of refining rules may get better.

Generally, it is essential that high-speed routers, switches, and network security appliances should have an efficient packet classification scheme in order to achieve the high-speed packet forwarding capability. For the multi-gigabit packet-processing network equipment the high-speed content search hardware such as TCAM and search engine is recently used to support the content-based packet inspection. During the packet classification process, hundreds and thousands of rules are applied to provide the network security policies regarding traffic screening, traffic monitoring, and traffic shaping. In addition, these rules could be dynamically changed during operations of systems if anomaly traffic patterns would vary. Particularly, in the high-speed network, an efficient algorithm that updates and reorganizes the packet classification rules is critical so as not to degrade the performance of the network device. In this paper, we have proposed an efficient update algorithm using a partial-ordering that can relocate the dynamically changing rules at the TCAM. Experimental results should that our algorithm does not need to relocate existing rules feature until 70$\%$ of TCAM utilization.

Generative Art (also called as the art of the algorithm) creates unexpected results, moving autonomously according to rules or algorithms. The evolution of digital media in art, which tries to seek novelty, increases the possibility of new artistic fields; subsequently, this study establishes the basis for new design approaches by analyzing visual cases of Generative Art that have emerged since the 20th century and characteristics expressed on fashion. For the methodology, the study analyzes fashion designs that have emerged since 2000, based on theoretical research that includes literature and research papers relating to Generative Art. According to the study, expression characteristics shown in fashion, based on visual properties of Generative Art, are as follows. First, abstract randomness is expressed with unexpected coincidental forms using movements of a creator and properties of materials as variables in accordance to rules or algorithms. Second, endlessly repeated pattern imitation expresses an emergent shape by endless repetition created by a modular system using rules or 3D printing using a computer algorithm. Third, the systematic variability expresses constantly changing images with a combination of system and digital media by a wearing method. It is expected that design by algorithm becomes a significant method in producing other creative ideas and expressions in modern fashion.

This paper shows that the proposed fuzzy-sliding mode control algorithm for a SCARA robot could reduce the chattering due to sliding mode control and is robust against a change of payload and parameter uncertainties. That is, the chattering can be reduced by changing control input for compensating disturbances into a control input by fuzzy rules within a pre-determined dead zone. The experimental results show that the chattering can be reduced more effectively by the fuzzy-sliding mode control algorithm than the sliding mode control with two dead zones. It is proved experimentally that the proposed control algorithm is robust to a change of payload. The proposed control algorithm is implemented to the SCARA robot using a DSP(board) for high speed calculations.

In this paper, a novel neuro-fuzzy controller is presented. The generic fuzzy controller is compensated by a neural network controller so that an overall control structure forms a neuro-fuzzy controller. The proposed neuro-fuzzy controller solves the difficulty of selecting optimal fuzzy rules by providing the similar effect of modifying fuzzy rules simply by changing crisp input values. The performance of the proposed controller is tested by controlling humanoid robot arms. The humanoid robot arm is analyzed and implemented. Experimental studies have shown that the performance of the proposed controller is better than that of a PID controller and of a generic fuzzy PD controller.
