높이별 기상변화를 고려한 초고층 건축물의 외피종류별 냉난방 부하특성 분석 (Effect of the building envelope on heating and cooling load in super tall building considering the meteorological changes with height)

  • Today, the number of super tall buildings are under construction or being planed in Middle East and Asian Countries. For example the burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, is completed in 2008 and the height of that is about 800m. Also, Lotte World Tower is under construction in Korea. External environmental conditions such as wind speed, air temperature, humidity and solar radiation around the super tall building differs according to the building height due to the vertical micro climate change. However, the meteorological information used for AC design of building is obtained typically from standard surface meterological station data(~2m above the ground). In this paper the effect of the building envelope on heating and cooling load in super tall building considering the meteorological changes with height was analyzed with simulation method. As results of this research, the guideline to select the building envelop alternatives for super tall building will be suggested in this paper.

Estimate of Additional Construction Cost as Certifying G-SEED of Office Building in Korea

  • To improve environmental problem as globally climate changes, domestic and foreign government have been trying to reduce green gas emitted by all industries. With making the green building certification system that assess the substantiality and energy performance of building, a governments have been using by a way for reducing green gas emitted in building industry. G-SEED(Green Standard for Energy & Environmental Design) developed in Korea have been reinforcing, and a number of projects certifying the G-SEED have been increasing continuously. As a demand of G-SEED certification is rising, a question on the additional cost data as certifying G-SEED is rising. It is because additional cost as getting the certification is important fact for G-SEED level decision and whether getting the certification or not. Therefore, this study analyzed additional construction cost as certifying G-SEED through performance improvement and design change of general office building not to get G-SEED. In conclusion, an additional construction cost ratio of G-SEED projects to the reference building is drawn as certified level; +0.26%, silver level; +2.29%, gold level; +3.89%, and platinum level; +5.48%.

대학도서관 열람실 공간기준에 관한 연구 (Study on the Spatial Standard for Reading Rooms in University Libraries)

  • This research aims to establish the size standard of university library's user space, and present the standard and method to calculate total area required in the planning of new building construction and remodeling. Nine university libraries newly constructed or remodeled since 2000 were selected among the libraries of large scale universities with more than 10,000 enrolled students as the target libraries in this research. The target libraries were classified into A group (five cases partially remodeled) and B group (four cases newly constructed or fully remodeled) on the basis of the change of times. A university library can be divided into three spaces (user space, administration space and public space). This research classified the reading room in the user space into bookshelf zone, reading zone, information/office zone and hall/other zone, and analyzed area ratio according to each zone. B group's bookshelf zone decreased 12% more than A group, and B group's reading zone increased 10% more than A group. However, there was no big change in the area ratio of information/office zone and hall/other zone. This can be interpreted that university library changes from book and archive preservation-oriented space to user-oriented space. This research presented a proper reading room area calculation method, based on the capacity of books, by reflecting such a change. Each zone's standard was set up through classification of domestic and international standards, based on which, the calculation method of university library's total floor area required was presented. The reason why there was difference in university library's total floor area required according to domestic standard and international standard was that the number of enrolled students per seat in the reading room was different. The area calculation methods presented in this research can be utilized as useful data upon planning university library construction or remodeling.

연약지반 암버럭 치환공법의 구조물 안정성과 경제성 분석 - 청주시 미호천 횡단도로를 대상으로 (Analysis on the Safety of Structure and Economics of Replacement Method Using Rock Debris in the Soft Ground - Case Study of Miho Stream Crossing Road in Cheongju City)

  • 연약지반 공사는 설계단계에서 고려하지 못한 변수들이 시공단계에서 발생되어 구조물의 안정성과 설계변경에 따른 공사비 증가의 원인이 된다. 본 연구는 충청북도 오창지역에 조성되는 산업단지 진입도로 조성구간을 연구대상으로 하며, 연약지반 처리공법으로 암버럭을 이용한 치환공법 및 사용하중을 고려한 과재성토를 연약지반 처리대책으로 선정, 구조물의 안정성 및 공기 단축으로 공사비 절감효과 분석에 목적이 있다. 연구구간의 연약지반 두께는 사질토 및 점성토 연약지반으로 2.4~5.5m로 규모가 작으나 지표하 1.5~5.9m의 지층사이에 불균등하게 분포하며, 침하발생은 크지 않으나 장래 부등침하와 단차 발생이 예상되어 연약지반 처리후 현장 계측결과를 분석하여 장래 침하거동을 예측하였다. 또한, 치환재료는 지역특성 및 경제성을 고려하여 양질토사를 암버럭으로 치환하여 안정성 증가, 공기단축 등으로 공사비 29%를 절감하였다. 본 연구를 바탕으로 향후 제체내 간극수압 소산, 지하수위 변동 등의 예측과 실제 계측된 연약지반의 압밀과의 관계 등에 대한 추가적인 연구를 수행할 경우, 다양한 현장조건에서 연약지반 거동을 정확히 예측할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • 건설 품질 및 안전 확보, 비용분쟁 방지를 위해 최근, '적정 공사기간' 산정의 중요성이 부각되었다. 건축공사기간 산정기준 마련을 위해서는 상당량의 과거자료 분석이 필요하다. 그러나, 근로시간 단축, 품질규정 강화 및 기후조건 변화 등 건설사업 환경이 이미 변경되어 과거자료의 사용에 대해 많은 전문가들이 의문을 제기하고 있는 실정이다. 또한, 건축공사는 공사 여건에 따라 작업순서, 생산성 등이 매우 다양해 과거 통계치를 활용한 획일적인 공사기간 산정 시 오류 가능성이 상승한다. 따라서, 적극적인 '생각의 전환'을 통해 과거자료 분석 방식에서 현재생산자료 검토 방식으로 변경하는 새로운 해법을 본 연구를 통해 제시하였다. 즉, 설계단계에 '공정관리 전문가' 및 '공종별 시공전문가'를 투입하여, '적정 공사기간'을 검토·산정하는 절차를 제도화하였다.

타자성의 담론으로 본 F.O.A 건축 공간생성 원리에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Principle of F.O.A Construction Space Creation Viewed from the Discussion of Otherness)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out how the otherness philosophy reveals itself in the principle of F.O.A construction space creation. The traditional philosophy of totality is self-centered and thoughts are based on the subject. It couldn't escape from the world associated with the self, and has subordinated the other to the main body. But the philosophy of otherness transcends the subject, to the open, creative way of thinking which acknowledges deconstruction, decentralization, and non-hierarchy. This is very similar to contemporary architecture, which pursuits change, and also to the current state of society. In construction by the construction group F.O.A, which is doing notable activity this generation, there is an attempt to transcend the fixed subject which is seen in the otherness discussion, and realize recategorization by overcoming the boundaries of subject and object. First, by the realization of landscape architecture using a topographical folding technique, boundaries of the subject and object are demolished in the relationship of the landscape construction, and recategorization. Second, by breaking up the meaning of the surface which is a visual and physical boundary for both the internal and external, recategorization is being done. Third, by making the boundary between the interior and exterior indistinct, cognitive threshold is dissolved, and the relationship between the subject and object is being recategorization. In conclusion, we can see that the many recategorization phenomenons that are happening in the F.O.A construction show the otherness that escapes from the conventional and stationary relationship, and recognizes each other at the same time, forming new relationships.

  • In this paper, systematization design method by analogical Interpretation which is profitable in the compatability and standardization of developed products and is useful of reducing construction time and price was introduced. Systematization design based on analogical interpretation is a method which systematizes each characteristic with mathematical description in order to make variable design parameters correspond with the terms desired. In this paper, after choosing a differential transformer as the sample for design components each characteristic was expressed mathematically by analogical interpretation and miniaturized ones were manufactured by similarity factors. The relationship between input voltages of an actual differential transformer and the model and output voltages occurred by the change of the displacements in operational axis was shown.

  • From designers' viewpoint, today, the major environmental change can be found in the digital environment. Especially, more than the development of physical product which can be characterized as the backup of old function and realization of new function in the field of product design, as the digital product development of program style that exists without substance is deepened, the development of the digital design media has been accelerating. However, it is the recent matter that the link with educational system about the added value which could be embodied by digitech, and the interdisciplinary research about producing goods become regular. The construction of the industrial design development process based on the digital environment must be the major research object. Therefore, the goal of my research is to present the concept of the product design process model required in the digital environment.

광복이후 제주지역 농촌주거의 배치 및 공간구성 변화 (The Change of Layout and Spatial Composition of Rural Houses in Jeju after 1945)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the changes of architectural characteristics of the rural houses in Jeju area for the last half a century. 72 houses in eight villages, which have been spontaneously renovated or added, were chosen as the rersearch samples. The subjects were classified into three groups-traditional, modernized, and contemporary houses-mainly by their construction years. Based upon these classification, the factors of change and continuation in building layout and spatial composition of dwellings have been investigated. As the results, Jeju rural houses show the tendency of the various and rapid changes in overall shape and spatial composition, but the traditional concepts of composition in plan has been maintained. Especially, the open structure of three-folded houses and the utilization of traditional floor system have been maintained as major design concepts to compose a house.

통일과정에서의 동, 서독 도시정책 비교와 통독 이후 도시정책 변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on Comparison of GDR and BDR Urban Policy in Unification Process and Change of Urban Policy after German Unification)

  • On October 3, 1990, Germany achieved peaceful reunification by integrating East Germany into West Germany. Since reunification, the region of East Germany had to have a new value standard in extreme social changes such as legal, political, administrative and spatial amid rapid systemic changes. The purpose of this study is to characterize urban policy related to urban change in DDR in the past 30 years after German unification. In particular, this study examined the change of construction law and Städtebauförderung Program as urban policy. The characteristics of Städtebauförderung programs and urban regeneration are in context with their contents. The characteristics of Städtebauförderung program support program are ultimately aimed at resolving imbalances among cities, improving the quality of life of residents and developing cities with future-oriented sustainability.
