Multivariate control charts for effectively monitoring every component in the dispersion matrix of multivariate normal process are considered. Through the numerical results, we noticed that the multivariate control charts based on sample statistic $V_i$ by Hotelling or $W_i$ by Alt do not work effectively when the correlation coefficient components in dispersion matrix are increased. We propose a combined procedure monitoring every component of dispersion matrix, which operates simultaneously both control charts, a chart controlling variance components and a chart controlling correlation coefficients. Our numerical results show that the proposed combined procedure is efficient for detecting changes in both variances and correlation coefficients of dispersion matrix.

The points of failure of a decomposition process are defined to be the union of the points of failure from two component point processes for software reliability systems. Because sampling from the likelihood function of the decomposition model is difficulty, Gibbs Sampler can be applied in a straightforward manner. A Markov Chain Monte Carlo method with data augmentation is developed to compute the features of the posterior distribution. For model determination, we explored the prequential conditional predictive ordinate criterion that selects the best model with the largest posterior likelihood among models using all possible subsets of the component intensity functions. A numerical example with a simulated data set is given.

Syntheses and liquid-Crystallinites of thermotropic copoly (ester amide)s were investigated. The three components melt polycondensation of 4,4'-dicarboxy-$\alpha$, $\omega$-diphenoxyalkane as an A component, 4-4'diacetoxybiphenyl as a B, and p-N-acetoxy-aminobenzoic acid as a C gave the thrmotropic copoly(ester amide)s containing a flexible splacer in the polymer backbone. Diacetylated hydroquinone, methyl hydroquinone, chlorohydroquinone, and phenyl hydroquinone were used as anther B components. A polymer(6BPAB) having 10 mol% of C component and hexamethylene space. showed a typical nematic texture between $245^{\circ}C(T_m)\; and\; more\; than\; 360^{\circ]C(T_i)$. The melting points of the members of this series of polymers increased with decreasing methylene spacer. The polymer structure and mesomorphic nature were examined by solid and solution ^{13}C-NMR4 spectroscopy, cross polarizing microscopy with a hot stage, and X-ray diffactometry.

Poly(${\varepsilon}-caprolactone$) (PCL) is a highly crystalline polymer that is miscible with several amorphous polymers including chlorinated polyether, poly(vinylchloride), poly(hydroxyether) and Bisphenol A polycarbonate. The crystallization behavior of miscible blend of amorphous/crystalline polymers has widely been studied. Generally a depression of the crystallization ability has been found with addition of amorphous component because of the reduction of chain mobility, the change of free energy of nucleation as a result of a specific interaction, and so on [1]. In this work, for the first time, the blend of PCL and copolymer of polyurethane containing polycaprolactone as a soft segment is considered. The structural similarity of TPU soft segment with PCL affects on formation of the miscible component and crystallization behavior of PCL in the blend. This has been studied using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and Wide-angle X-ray Scattering (WAXS).

In this paper, an analysis technique is presented for performing the effective design of bus structure. Sensitivity analysis is carried out for the natural frequency of component structures consisting of bus B.I.W. Local vibration modes of substructure, which large affect on the global vibration mode of the bus B.I.W., are obtained through the sensitivity analysis technique using the mathematical chain rule. And also the design variables, which are determined from the sensitivity analysis, are redesigned through optimum design process. The proposed analysis technique shows that the bus structure can be effectively designed considering the vibration characteristics.

It was accomplished that failure analysis not only failure numbers but also power system components every years. and these informations help power system operation considerably. power system equipment were occurred a break down by natural phenomenon and aging but it was not able to predict this failure number. But many papers and technical repots study for each equipment failure rate and reliability evaluation methods. so this paper show a failure number prediction whole power system component using Markov theory not each component failure probability. the result present a next month system failure number prediction.

In this paper, a sensitivity analysis technique is presented for performing effective structural optimization of bus system. Design sensitivities are analyzed on natural frequency of bus substructures using super-element. Vibration modes of substructure, which large affect on the global vibration mode of bus B.I.W., are found through the sensitivity analysis using the chain rule. And design variables, which are determined from the sensitivity analysis, are changed through optimum design.

This paper considers a Bayesian approach to modeling a flexible regression function under structural measurement error model. The regression function is modeled based on semiparametric regression with penalized splines. Model fitting and parameter estimation are carried out in a hierarchical Bayesian framework using Markov chain Monte Carlo methodology. Their performances are compared with those of the estimators under structural measurement error model without a semiparametric component.

Let f be a diffeomorphisms of a compact $C^{\infty}$ manifold, and let p be a hyperbolic periodic point of f. In this paper, we prove that if generically, f is tame diffeomorphims then the following conditions are equivalent: (i) f is ${\Omega}$-stable, (ii) f has the $C^1$-stable shadowing property (iii) f has the $C^1$-stable inverse shadowing property.

Two males and one female in the group of 5020 Korean school children and university students in Seoul and Taejon were found to have a show hemoglobin to normal hemoglobin A. In all three subjects the show component migrated at a rate characterstic of the G hemoglobin. By urea-starch-gel electrophoresis in alkaline pH and Chernoff method ws demonstrated that another 3 cases of abnormal hemoglobin also were beta-chain variants. This was reconfirmed by hybridization experiment with canine hemoglobin. And the results of family test of 3 case of abnormal hemoglobin were heterozygous carrier.
