In this research, we made an experiment on the 10 specimen beams that we made. The specimen beams consist of 4 steel plate strengthening beams and 5 carbon fiber sheet strengthening beams. We applied the methods of notch, rounding off a edge, anchor bolt and side shear strengening to the steel plate and for the case of carbon fiber sheet, we applied the methods of anchor bolt, line anchor and shear strengthening. After all the cases were applied, the beams was measured and analyzed about the behavior property of strengthened beams, th ability of strengthening method, the relation between load and the shape of failure, the crack load, the yield load, the shape of crack pattern, the increasing rate from yield load and maximum load and the strain of rebar. All the strengthening methods resulted in almost same value until the yield load, and it wasn't quite different from the theoretical value. In comparison with existing method, the SER, SEAS for the steel plate and the CEA, CESS, CCESS for carbon fiber sheet showed the increasement of ductility with big displacement.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the experiential aspects of consumer in the ap-parel buying process especially the affective aspects. An ethnographic approach is a kind of qualitative analysis or naturalistic inquiry be-ing adopted by studies of anthnopology and consumer behavior,. Data were collected via doing participant observation interview field notes and recording for three months from fe-male students of universities in Pusan. Results were as following: First consumers experienced the various kinds of affection in the apparel buying pro-cess such as satisfaction pleasure/refresh-ment interest/attraction pride conspicous-ness impulse neglect prostration anxiety ir-ritation and dispiritedness. Second especially they were felt satis-faction and conspicousness by the atmosphere of store pleasure by the smell of store and impulse by nostalgia in apparel buying process. Also negative affections felt in the process such as neglect prostration anxiety and irri-taton had a great influence to apparel buying behavior. This study was to serve as a pilot study we wished to fortify the methodology of qualitat-ive analysis to identify themes and to de-velop hypothesis for further study.

Poly(o-ethoxy)aniline (PEOA)/organoclay nanocomposite was prepared via a solvent intercalation using chloroform as a cosolvent with organically modified montmorillonite (OMMT) clay. The PEOA initially synthesized from a chemical oxidation polymerization in an acidic condition at pH = 1 was intercalated into interlayers of the clay with $25\;wt{\%}$ clay content. Electrical conductivity of the PEOA/OMMT nano­composite was found to be controlled via the intercalating process. The synthesized PEOA/OMMT nano­composite was characterized via an XRD and a TGA, and then adopted as an electrorheological (ER) material. The PEOA/OMMT synthesized with controllable electrical conductivity without a dedoping pro­cess was found to show typical ER characteristics possessing a yield stress from both steady state and dynamic measurements under an applied electric field.

The popcorn cracking phenomena in plastic IC packages during reflow soldering are investigated by considering the heat transfer and moisture diffusion through the epoxy molding compound(EMC) along with the mechanics of interface delamination. Heat transfer and moisture diffusion through EMC under die pad are analyzed by finite difference method (FDM)during the pre-conditioning and subsequent reflow soldiering pro-cess and the amounts of moisture mass and vapor pressure at delaminated die pad/ EMC interface are calculated as a function of the reflow soldering time. The energy release rate stress intensity factor and phase angle were obtained under various loading conditions which are thermal crack face vapor pressure and mixed loadings. It was shown that thermal loading was the main driving force for the crack propagation for small crack lengths but vapor pressure loading played more significant role as crack grew.

Signifying clothes can be defined as a process in which a clothes obtains a symbolic meaning by confining its use and purpose. In this paper we catagorize the process of signifying clothes that appears in the Byongkut as follows : first removing the clothes, secondly putting on the clothes, and thirdly burning off the clothes. Removing the clothes is a process of dramatic realization and clearly shows proven facts about the things that will occur in the process. Putting on the clothes is a process of falsified expression in which the interest is transferred from the person who wears the clothes to the clothes itself by the shaman's insinuation who leads an interpretation about the clothes. Buring off the clothes is a pro-cess of mystification in which the end of Byongkut is sublimated mistiriously by making the partici-pants believe with the burning that the clothes and the diseases have been curred, and therefore, the ritual is kept from spoiling. The clothes used in Byongkut that religious belief and belief system are expressed through behavior style, and that supernatural power is designed to reveal is related with the various aspects of symbolic life indicated by the clothes.

For the purpose of increasing compressed air pressure higher than 30bar lightening weight and decreasing installation area of air compressor used for shipboard and industrial power plant it is necessary to arrange its cylinders as a w-type or v-type construction multi-stage compression pro-cess more than two stages and to increase its operation speed higher than 1200rpm In this recip-rocating type air compressor operated in high speed having a crank mechanism and complicate cylinder arrangement there is a vibration problems which can be solved by balancing its recipro-cating parts with balance weight and approriate arranging of cylinder's arrangement angles.

Integrated logistics support activities is to comprehensively manage the logistic support elements in the whole pro cess, from the design, development, acquisition request from the time it takes, operating and disposal for the efficient and cost-effective logistics support equipment. In other words, maintain the performance of the weapon system, and is required to be filed from the time the economic comprehensive logistic support until discarded activities, managing all logistic support throughout the life cycle period. Cr3C2 -dispersed TiC composites were prepared via HPCS(high pressure-self combustion sintering) pro-cess using mixtures of Ti, Cr and a carbon source for the purpose of increasing the facture toughness and sinterability of TiC. In this study the microstructure and properties of the composites were investigated in terms of relation to the carbon source the particle size of Ti and the amount of Cr. It was found that car-bon black was the most effective carbon source among the various carbon sources tested and the reaction was more effective as the particle size of Ti decreased. Among the sintered composites of Ti-C-Cr system the one with 30wt% Cr showed the best physical properties with 0.5% in apparent porosity 98.8% in re-lative density 18.2 GPa in hardness and 4.46 MPa.m1/2 in fracture toughness. In addition it was observed that the lattice constant of TiC decreased gradually with increasing the amount of Cr.

The localized form of subaortic stenosis shows a spectrum of pathological lesions varing from dis- crete membrane to a thickened flbromuscular collar. Aortic valve is commonly involved late in the pro- cess resulting in regurgitation. Because of the likelihood o the progressive obstruction and aortic regurgitation, early elective oper- ation should be considered for the patient with subaortic stenosis. We experienced a case of localized fibromuscular subaortic stenosis associated with aortic regurgi- tation. Excision of the fibromuscular ridge and septal myectomy-myotomy relieved the subaortic seen- osis. Regurgitant aortic valve was repaired by peeling away the Hbrotic tissue on the cusps and subcommissural annuloplasty at the each commissural area. On postoperative echocardiographic examination, the systolic pressure gradient between left ventricle and aorta decreased markedly and the aortic regurgitation was not detected at all.

The Shirts Blouse was produced through the process of shirts Blouse pattern making by utilizing CAD System developed by PAD Sys-tem Techologies Co. Ltd that is suitable to educational use or industrial use. The purpose of this study was to provide the basic data for the development of efficient and various design patterns by applying this pro-cess to the actual business of apparel making. The results were as follows: 1. The applicable range of CAD system 1) The repeated work can be avoided by thansforming and developing the basic pattern stored and the storage and remodification were easy. 2) The deletion duplication movement and copy of all points and lines in the pattern can be made freely and measurement of all lengths and angles the attachment of two patterns were possible. 3) The grading Library of the basic pattern was applied as it was and the time was curtailed by adding only several grading points with the change of design. 2. The problem in the use of the CAD System 1) Through the input of basic pattern by the digitizer the minute size difference was generated as each point on the curve came to be designated. 3) In grading the line of neck girth there was inconveniences to go to the plan view in order find out deviation.
