Although the geometrical difference in body position between web-building and wandering spiders could affect the organization of their central nervous system (CNS), however most of our informations about spider's CNS are dependent on those revealed from the wandering spiders. Therefore, this paper describes microstructural organizations of the CNS in the geometric orb-web spider Araneus ventricosus. Similarly to other wandering spiders, the CNS of A. ventricosus is also consisted of a dorsal supraesophageal ganglion and a ventral subesophageal mass. The supraesophageal ganglia are fused together and made up of a large sized nerve cell clusters, whereas the subesophageal ganglia are made up of the foremost part of the ventral nerve cord. It has been revealed that the only nerve arising from the supraesophageal mass was the optic nerve which connected with four pairs of eyes, whereas a pair of pedipalpal and four pairs of appendage nerves including abdominal nerve pairs were arisen from the subesophageal nerve mass. Fibrous masses are highly organized into longitudinal and transverse tracts, and are only consisted of processes of neurons and the terminal ramnifications of peripheral sensory neurons. In addition, central fibrous mass of both the brain and the subesophageal mass are totally devoid of nerve cell bodies.

We present B VRI CCD surface photometry for the central $(6'.35\times6'.35)$ regions of the dwarf elliptical galaxies NGC 185 and NGC 205 in the Local Group. Surface brightness profiles of NGC 185 (R<225') and NGC 205 (R<186') show excess components in the central regions. The colors of NGC 185 get bluer inward at R<25', while they remain constant at $R\geq25'$. The colors of NGC 205 get bluer inward at 1'$\approx10^5\; L_\bigodot$. Distributions of dust clouds in the central regions of the two galaxies are also investigated.

Our goal is to establish and prove the almost sure central limit theorems for some order statistics $\{M_n^{(k)}\}$, $k=1,2,{\ldots}$, formed by stochastic processes ($X_1,X_2,{\ldots},X_n$), $n{\in}N$, the distributions of which are defined by certain Archimedean copulas. Some properties of generators of such the copulas are intensively used in our proofs. The first class of theorems stated and proved in the paper concerns sequences of ordinary maxima $\{M_n\}$, the second class of the presented results and proofs applies for sequences of the second largest maxima $\{M_n^{(2)}\}$ and the third (and the last) part of our investigations is devoted to the proofs of the almost sure central limit theorems for the k-th largest maxima $\{M_n^{(k)}\}$ in general. The assumptions imposed in the first two of the mentioned groups of claims significantly differ from the conditions used in the last - the most general - case.

The most famous thought of Dongjungseo's must be 'the Sky-Earth Response Theory.' The theory includes the Same 'Gi' Correspondence(the Same Category Homology) and explains the relationship between the nature and the men based on Yin-Yang. This theory, commonly studied by the scholars of the political science, however, has been constituting the foundation of the oriental medicine. Also, he insists many other theories related to Yin-Yang including the natural calamity, the treatise of human nature, the name and reality, and the national school of Confucianism, etc. This paper covers the Yin-Yang theory, particularly with regard to ethics. politics, human nature of Dongjungseo, and the comparison of his Yin-Yang and that of the Emperor Inner Cannon. Dongjungseo insists on the harmony of Yin-Yang just only in the area of health care, excluding other areas such as state and family governance. However, in contrast, he asserts the Yang central idea for what he defined as the order of a family, a society and a state. This presents his contradiction and logicality. In the last part of this paper, his logical flaws would be discussed and analysed. However, he is a lucky scholar, because his Yang central idea has been successfully governing peoples for a long time, despite such imperfection and contradiction in his studies.

Central cardiovascular effects of bradykinin were examined in anesthetized normotensive (NTR) and 2-kidney, 1 clip Goldblatt hypertensive rats (GHR). Bradykinin ($0.5{\sim}10nmol$) was administered into the right lateral cerebral ventricle, while blood pressure and heart rate (HR) were continuously monitored. In both NTR and GHR, intracerebroventricular bradykinin produced a dose dependent increase in mean arterial pressure (MAP) without significant changes in HR. GHR were more sensitive in the pressor response than NTR. The pressor response to bradykinin was attenuated by treatment with hexamethonium (2.5mg/kg/min, IV) or phentolamine (2mg/kg, IV) in both NTR and GHR. Reserpine treatment (2mg/kg/day, intramuscularly,2 days) did not affect the central pressor effect of bradykinin in NTR but it attenuated the pressor effect in GHR. Pretreatment with indomethacin (10mg/kg, intraperitoneally) or saralasin ($20{\mu}g$/kg/min, IV) was without effects on the pressor response to bradykinin. These results indicate that the central pressor effect of bradykinin is, at least in part, due to excitation of the autonomic nervous activity. Mechanisms other than the enhanced sympathetic nervous activity ran. not be ruled out, However. It is also suggested that the sensitivity to bradykinin is increased in the GHR.

Eddy current testing is widely used for inspecting steam generator tubing in nuclear power plants (NPPs). The inspection technique for steam generator tubing in NPPs should be qualified in accordance with examination guidelines. When the components of a qualified system such as eddy current tester, probe, and data analysis program, are changed, the equivalency of the modified system to the originally qualified system must be verified. The eddy current tester is the most important part of an eddy current testing system because it excites and transmits alternating currents to the probe, receives coil impedance of the probe and generates signals for anomalies. The Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. (KHNP) developed an eddy current testing system with an eddy current tester and data acquisition-analysis program for inspecting the steam generator tubing in NPPs; this system can be used for an array probe and as a bobbin and rotating probes. The equivalency assessment for the currently developed system was carried out, and we describe the results in this paper.

For the purpose of estimation of age based on changes in the human root dentin transparency, 173 extracted teeth in each part of upper & lower Lt. & Rt. central, lateral incisors to Lt. & Rt. 2nd premolars were evaluated and analized in terms of root dentin transparency. The results are as follows : 1. It was reconfirmed that there exisits coparatively close correlatonship between age and the root dentin transparency. 2. It was proved that the correlation between the changes in the length and the area of the root dentin transparecy in accordance with the ages of each tooth was highest at the upper central incisor, and next at the low central incisor and the upper second premoloar respectively. 3. In the analysis of the age of the transparency, the error was less in the measurement of the area than in the measurement of the length in regard to the estimation of age. 4. The results from the test of the upper central incisor were boiled down to the following linear equation about the correlation among the area and the length of the transparency, and the age: Y=6.94X+14.7(r=0.59) (Y:estimated age, X:length mm) Y=138.47X+12.31(r=0.72) (Y:estimeted age, $X:area\textrm{cm}^2$)

This paper study on the control method of 3-level converter. The control of converter is composed of active power control for controlling a output voltage and of reactive power control for high power factor drives. And also, output central voltage is controlled by sensing a each condensor voltage of bank connected the part of dc.

Reliability management is seen as central pivot for quality assurance. This paper analyses the reliability practices in Korea and compares with Japan's. I would like to suggest the way to cope with the gray part of the reliability management in Korea through my experiences.
