Purpose: The purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive overview of the various measures available for assessment of oxaliplatin-induced peripheral neuropathy (OXLIPN) and to evaluate the measurement properties of each assessment tool. Methods: A systematic review was conducted to identify existing measures for OXLIPN found in the databases of PubMed, Cochrane Library, Embase, RISS and KoreaMed. The quality of the 24 identified tools was evaluated based on their properties of measurement including content validity, internal consistency, criterion validity, construct validity, reproducibility, responsiveness, floor-ceiling effects and interpretability. Results: Ten (41.7%) of the 24 tools were identified as specific measures for assessing OXLIPN and the most popular type of measures were clinical grading systems by clinicians (58.3%) and only 29.2% of measures were identified as patient reported outcomes. The most frequently used tool was National Cancer Institute-Common Toxicity Criteria (NCI-CTC), but the validity of NCI-CTC has not been reported appropriately. Overall, the Neuropathic Pain Symptom Inventory (NPSI) received the best psychometric scores, and the Chemotherapy-induced Peripheral Neuropathy Assessment Tool (CIPNAT) and Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy/Gynaecologic Oncology Group-neurotoxicity-12 (FACT/GOG-Ntx-12) followed NPSI. Conclusion: To select appropriate measure, evidences should be accumulated through the clinical use of tools. Therefore, practitioner and researchers are urged to report relevant statistics required for the validation of the currently used measures for assessment of OXLIPN.
The concepts of laws like regularity or persistence or recurrence those are discovered in nature, became the essential elements in speculative philosophy, study and scientific technology. Western civilization was spread out by these natural laws. As this background, this study is aimed to research the theories of natural laws and the development of geometry as the descriptive tools and the development aspects of the concepts of space. According to Whitehead's four theories on the natural laws, the result of this study that aimed like that as follows. First, the theories on the immanence and imposition of the natural laws were the predominant ideas from ancient Greek to before the scientific revolution, the theory on the simple description like the positivism made the Newton-Cartesian mechanism and an absolutist world view. The theory on the conventional interpretation made the organicism and relativism world view according to non-Euclidean geometry. Second, the geometrical composition of ancient Greek architecture was an aesthetics that represented the immanence of natural laws. Third, in the basic symbol of medieval times, the numeral symbol was the frame of thought and was an important principal of architecture. Fourth, during the Renaissance, architecture was regarded as mathematics that made the order of universe to visible things and the geometry was regarded as an important architectural principal. Fifth, according to the non-Euclidean geometry, it was possible to present the natural phenomena and the universe. Sixth, topology made to lapse the division of traditional floor, wall and ceiling in contemporary architecture and made to build the continuous space. Seventy, the new nature was explained by fractal concepts not by Euclidean shapes, fractal presented that the essence of nature had not mechanical and linear characteristic but organic and non-linear characteristic.
This study is on the general characteristics of 'Monolithic' architecture. The intentions of monolithic architecture can be assumed as an attempt to replace the formal looseness or difficulties of understanding formal complexity of modern architecture, or a trial to react against contemporary avant-garde architectural tendency typically characterized as unstableness, uncertainty, fluidity, and articulation to reestablish autonomy of architecture. Buildings in this category coincide in their extreme economy and simplicity of overall form and consistency of external appearance while showing great expressional capacity with very limited formal means. Even though monolithic architecture still seems a little unstable and ambiguous in historical aspects, it can be considered as strikingly shaped objects or autonomous forms with identities, logics, and representation that promote recognition. Using architectural techniques of scale, colors, materials and finishes, monolithic architecture shows strategically invested surfaces that mediate between the inside and the outside, and shows unexpected and mysterious autonomy. This kind of monolithic approach is also found in interior space as a separate objects that contain functional space inside, or as formal elements that overflow the boundaries of conventional architecture by eliminating the distinction between floor, wall, and ceiling.

There are a growing number of cases to expand balconies of apartments faced with open air in order to enhance functional satisfaction and efficiency of dwelling space. In case of the balcony expansion at the floor, however, it is difficult to exclude a possibility of bringing about internal condensation due to the difference of temperature between indoor air and outdoor air caused by the Inflow of outer low-temperature air through the upper part of ceilings by failure in completely putting together the outer composite wall panels on the aluminum curtain walls installed at outer walls This study is to forecast possible occurrence of internal condensation around parapets and H-beam located at the inside of balcony ceilings on the uppermost floor of super-high apartment buildings faced with open air in order to provide dwellers with more comfortable environment in the related space and get rid of their uneasiness about the condensation. In this study, we estimated internal condensation, which vary in accordance with humidity pressure distribution, at curtain walls, stone panels or lower parts of slabs that constitute outer space of the residence and are weak against heat, through temperature forecast and temperature distribution interpretation program at normal two-dimension temperature

High-volume low-speed (HVLS) fans are one category of ceiling fan installed in large enclosings such as warehouses, large barns and health clubs in order to generate comfortable air circulation. As a rotary blade, aerodynamic performance of a HVLS fan is predominantly related to its airfoil(s), and the pitch and twist angles. This paper first, investigates the effects of airfoil on the performances of three different HVLS fans with NACA 5414, 6413 and 7415 airfoils. The fans have six untwisted blades with the diameter of 6 m and rotate at 60 RPM. The blades pitch angels are $12^{\circ}$, $12^{\circ}$ and $13^{\circ}$, respectively. The results are presented in the form of the aerodynamic forces and moments, volumetric flow rate and streamlines. Regarding the volumetric flow of air, the results show that the model with NACA 7415 has the best performance. Hence, two other HVLS fans with the same airfoil but, with four and five blades are studied in order to investigate the effects of number of blades. From the point of view of air circulation still the six-bladed fan is the best one; however, the five-bladed fan is more efficient in power consumption.

Foamed aluminum is an eco-friendly material that is reusable and safe against fire. These superior characteristics have many advantages in the field of building and construction and in cruise ships as sound absorbers. So far, the research on foamed aluminum has been focused on the sound absorption performance using the foaming ratio. Foamed aluminum, when compared with the existing sound absorbers such as glass wool or rock wool, has a better structural performance, and it can be installed on walls in many different ways. This study conducted experiments on the sound absorption characteristics considering the various applications of foamed aluminum. The effects of painting surfaces with the finishing material were compared to that of the normal surface, and the effects of vertical installation and hanging from the ceiling was compared with the effects of installing on the floor.
The purpose of this study was to examine the application tendency about the interior elements of the western classical style which appears in Korean residential space. The examined objects were 324 pictures of 99 residential spaces from the different monthly magazines between Sep.1994 to Sep.1999. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The tendency of application according to the kind of space, it has appeared much in Iivingroom, master bedroom and dining room of apartments and houses. As for the single application in residential space, Rococo and Neo-Classic style was shown most, and the cases applied through the mixture of Renaissance style and Nee-classic style appeared most. 2. The tendency of application arroding to the interior elements of space, the wall of Nee-Classic style and the ceiling of Renaissance style, the window and door of Nee-classic style, and the furniture of Rococo style were being applied much.
The blur phenomenon, in which the boundaries of fields or roles become vague, has become an important concept of design in the 21st century. In furniture design, the physical boundary between furniture and space and that between space and furniture has been broken down and their meaning tends to be redundant. This concept was begun by a variety of furniture designers who led the trends about 30 years ago. A progressive exhibition titled ${\ulcorner}$Living Tomorrow${\lrcorner}$, which was included in the Koln International Mobelmess from 1968 to 1970, showed that the blur phenomenon in furniture design has never actually been novel. These exhibitions and the works exhibited in the events are still recognized as progressive examples that proposed an avant-garde concept of life. They are in line with the current furniture design based on spatial concepts, which has been created by the blur phenomenon. The purposes of this study are to determine the cases of furniture design that enable the so-called spatial functions beyond the simple functions of seating, use, and display, from those of furniture design and to research their characteristics. In this study, furniture based on spatial concepts means furniture that creates 3D spaces consisting of the floor, walls, and ceiling by the blur phenomenon that occurs from the spaces among these pieces of furniture. The organization of this study is as follows; In Chapter 2, a background on the generation of furniture design based on spatial concepts is described based on the research literature of this socio-cultural phenomena. In Chapter 3, the cases of relevant furniture design redescribed. In Chapter 4, the collected cases are analyzed and their characteristics described. In Chapter 5, Chapter 1 to Chapter 4 are summarized and conclusions are given. In addition, future research is proposed.

SPA brands have quickly expanded in domestic fashion markets as native SPA brands enter markets that foreign SPA brands previously occupied. It is important that each SPA brand establish its own brand identity to differentiate itself from other brands when SPA brand competition in fashion markets increases. This study investigates how SPA brands express brand identities through colors due to their importance for visualization strategies and brand identity. This study conducted a simultaneous literature study and case study. First, this study reviewed the theoretical background of brand identity and its relationship with colors as well as SPA brands by studying relevant literature and cases of domestic academic theses and data on Internet web sites. After reviewing the theoretical background of SPA brands, this study selected 4 stores of SPA brands (8SECONDS, H&M, UNIQLO, and ZARA) as case study targets and analyzed the stores' external appearance, interior and product colors. Store analysis divided colors into identity colors and trend colors with each SPA company expressing its own brand identity through: the store's external appearance (logo color), painted interior colors (ceiling, floor, walls, mannequins, hangers, equipment, and store-carrier bag), or trend colors (reflected in the store's main display hall or products). The results consider that each SPA brand sets the mass market as their target, and chooses the commercialization of latest fashion by selecting the latest trends in the fashion trend cycle, so its products do not reflect characteristics symbolizing the company's uniqueness and brand.
Objectives : It was to translate three neck and spinal pain disability questionnaires - the Neck Disability Index (NDI), the Neck Pain and Disability Scale (NPDS), and the Functional Rating Index (FRI) - into Korean language, and evaluate the psychometric properties of Korean versions of questionnaires to achieve a good cross-cultural adaptation. Methods : Forty (23 males, 17 females) subjects aged from 15 to 64 years old, participated to examine test-retest reliability. One hundred and eighty (76 males, 104 females) subjects with a primary diagnosis of non-specific neck pain and 81 healthy volunteers were undertaken to examine internal consistemcy, discriminative validity and longitudinal construct validity. Versions of each questionnaire in idiomatic modern Korean were developed using a procedure proposed by Beaton et al. (2000). To assess reliability, the Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC $_{(2,1)}$) was calculated. Internal consistency was evaluated by Cronbach's alpha. Discriminative validity was examined with independent-group t-tests. Responsiveness was tested by calculating the effect size and standardized response mean for each questionnaire and using Pearson' s r and the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve analysis. Results : Test-retest reliability ofthe translated versions of the three disability questionnaires was excellent (ICC $_{(2,1)$ = 0.86-0.90). High internal consistency was found in the three disability questionnaires (Cronbach's alpha ranged from ${\alpha}=0.88$ for the FRI to ${\alpha}=0.96$ for the NPDS and 0.82 for the Short Form McGill Pain Questionnaire(SFMPQ)). the VAS subscale of the SFMPQ was found to be the most responsive of the subscales (ES=1.44, SRM=1.37). The VAS was also the most responsive pain and disability index in internal responsiveness analysis, although disability indices showed marginally better responsiveness when compared with external standards. No floor or ceiling effects were observed. Conclusions : It is concluded that the questionnaires were successfully translated and exhibit acceptable measurement properties, and may suggest that they are suitable for use in clinical and research application.
