  • Ondal Cave is important and significant in terms of cultural value and tourism. In addition, there are abundant historical and cultural resources nearby. If the geographical strength is taken advantage of, the cave would evolve into a great tourist destination and natural education spot. This paper has investigated humanistic environment of Ondal Cave in considerations for the surrounding tourism resources. There are abundant tourism resources around Ondal Cave. However, they are rarely connected with each other. In fact, they are very partially interrelated around Guinsa(temple) only. Furthermore, the number of tourists has gradually decreased. Therefore, it‘s required to further develop tourism programs and surrounding tourism resources.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the actual condition and the problems of the cave resources, and to suggest the improvements of the cave management. For this purpose, I analyzed the use of cave and the characteristics and the changing factors of the cave resources as well as the types and the formative factors of caves, and then investigated the problems and the improvement of the cave management. in conclusion, it is necessary that the comprehensive polities to prevent caves from staining and contaminating be established such as the environmental assessment and the conservative policies.

  • Many researcher contended that the tourism types of modern society has changed to 'experience tourism' from 'seeing tourism' recently. Therefore attempts to add edutainment factors in the original tour program has been introduced in cases of tourism cave. As we can see the Hwaam-cave in Jungsun-gun, by preparing with various pavilions which are well-matched with tourism cave. So, the purpose of this study is to the presentations of the activation programs that having on characteristics of edutainment tourism resources for tourism cave. Thus, first of all for establishing of this study, we examined the characteristics and values as tourism resources of cave and then observed the roles and examples of edutainment tourism cave, finally suggested the activation programs that can be shaped for edutainment tourism of cave.

  • The inside of Woldum cave has a complicated configuration with many dynamic aspects. The number of configurations and natural features of the ground discovered up to now is about 20. When we discuss the value of the potential tourism that the cave has, Woldun cave is a lime cave with resourceful value and tourism value, considering the size of cave and excellency of the spectacular sight. In addition, the large stalagmite's file lining in the inside of the cave is a magnificent spectacle. Therefore the Woldun cave, as a lime cave, is very important for tourism level as well as academic ones.

  • This study analyzed the distribution of China's caves and cave resources in Research. The results are as follows: First, China's melting karst caves are mainly distributed in southwest widely distributed. Recently in Beijing and other northern areas found in many caves. First, China's Karst caves are mainly distributed in karst-flung southwest. Recently in Beijing and other northern areas found in many caves. Second, although China is widespread volcanic landscapes, but most of the extinct volcano, the lava caves less so. Are mainly distributed in Hainan Island, north-east there are some distribution. Third, China's recent development and evolution of the cave, analysis of the paleo-environment records of cave stalagmites, cave biology, cave tourism development, environmental aspects of cave research more active.

  • The modern people spend more time with heir family on weekends, and this changed the perspective toward leisure and tourism. Along with this, the recognition toward tourism resources have underwent various modifications with the increasing number of family tourists. Caves are categorized as lava tube (formed by volcano activity), lime stone cave(formed by absorption of water into underground level), sea cave (formed by wave erosion) and artificial cave that were made for the fluent traffic activity of railways or roads. Caves manifest characteristics of tourism as a natural resources and tourism as a humanity study, so caves are valuable as a multipurpose tourism resource.
