  • This paper is concerned with developing a standard costing model based on the case study of PECT and GCT in order to improve operation efficiency and design business strategy. In doing so the model can be a useful tool to analyze current calculation system of lease charge at the two terminals and to judge whether the level of lease charge currently applied to them is justifiable for thier profitability.

  • In this paper, we proposed a modeling method of continuous combat simulation by using VENSIM. VENSIM is a CASE tool for developing continuous simulation. It provides a simple and flexible way of building simulation models from causal loop or influence diagram. As a case model, we developed "a prototype model of battle"incorporating infantry, artillery, air defense weapon, aircraft, and guerrilla engagement.ngagement.

  • Trifid mandibular canal (TMC) is one of the anatomical variation of mandibular canal with clinical importance. An extra mandibular canal may explain inadequate anesthesis and be damaged causing paresthesia or bleeding during mandibular surgery. CBCT with high-level spatial resolution is an useful tool for the detection of mandibular canal and its variation. The aim of this report is to present a case of trifid mandibular canal with CBCT images and to give information on this anatomical variation of mandibular canal.

  • The capabilities ofBusiness Process Management Systems (BPMS's) are continuously extended to increase theeffectiveness of the management and enactment of business processes. This paper identifies the challenge ofcase prediction, which for a specific case under the control of a BPMS deals with the estimation of the remaining time until it is completed. An accurate case prediction facility is a valuable tool for the operationalcontrol of business processes, as it enables the pre-active monitoring of time violations. Little research has beencarried out in this area and few commercial tools support case prediction. This paper lists the requirements onsuch a facility and sketches sonae directions to reach a solution. To illustrate the depth of the problem, a smallaspect of the problem is treated in more detail. It involves the complex relations between tasks and resources inbusiness processes, which makes an exact analytical approach mfeasible.

  • 객체 지향 기법의 확산으로 인하여 많은 객체 지향 표기법과 객체 지향 CASE(Computer Aided Software Engineering) 도구가 발표되고 있다.

  • This study investigates the fatigue life and the damage possibility of cam shaft by the fatigue tool of Ansys. Among nonconstant fatigue loads, the case of 'SAE Bracket History' which is severest at the variation of load tends to be most unstable. The maximum relative damage in case of 'SAE Bracket History' is occurred near the average stress '0' and this case can be shown to have the possibility to take more damage than other cases. The case of 'Sample History' which becomes a little slow at the variation of load tends to be most stable. But there is most damaged possibility of 5% as 7 times at the range of mean stress from 0Pa to -104MPa and amplitude stress from 0MPa to 104MPa than the case of 'SAE Bracket History' or 'SAE Transmission'.

  • This study investigates fatigue life and possibility damaged at disk brake of automobile by the simulation of fatigue analysis. Among nonconstant fatigue loads, the case of 'SAE Bracket History' which is the severest at the variation of load tends to be most unstable. The case of 'Sample History' which becomes slower at the variation of load tends to be most stable. The value of maximum relative damage in case of 'SAE Bracket History' is occurred near the average stress '0' and this case can be shown to have the possibility to affect more damage than another case. As the result of this study is applied to automobile parts with non constant loads, durability can be improved during drive by preventing any damage.

  • Embedded systems have a set of tasks to execute. These tasks can be implemented either on application specific hardware or as software running on a specific processor. The design of an embedded system involves the selection of hardware software resources, Partition of tasks into hardware and software, and performance evaluation. An accurate estimation of execution time for extreme cases (best and worst case) is important for hardware/software codesign. A tighter estimation of the execution time bound nay allow the use of a slower processor to execute the code and may help lower the system cost. In this paper, we consider an ARM-based embedded system and developed a tool to estimate the tight boundary of execution time of a task with loop bounds and any additional program path information. The tool we developed is based on an exiting timing analysis tool named 'Cinderella' which currently supports i960 and m68k architectures. We add a module to handle ARM ELF object file, which extracts control flow and debugging information, and a module to handle ARM instruction set so that the new tool can support ARM processor. We validate the tool by comparing the estimated bound of execution time with the run-time execution time measured by ARMulator for a selected bechmark programs.
