  • The purpose of the study is to investigate the convergence comparison of the stress, major satisfaction, career identity, and college adjustment of nursing students according to college admission process and grade. The 349 subjects were studying in the nursing department in the City P. And the data collection was carried out from April 2016 until May 2016. The data analysis was carried out with the frequency, the percentage, the ${\chi}^2$-test, and the ANOVA by using the SPSS 23.0 Program. Regarding the research results, first, there were no significant differences among the entire academic years according to the admission type. Second, regarding all the admission types according to the academic year, there were the significant differences among stress (p=.001), the degree of satisfaction with the major (p<.001), the sense of career path identity (p=.021), and the adaptation to the college life (p<.001). As a result, I propose that, based on these results of the research, as a strategy for reducing the stress and for improving the degree of satisfaction with the major, the sense of career path identity, and the capability to adapt to the college life on the part of the nursing students, a differentiated, customized educational program by type of admission and by academic year should be developed and applied.

This intelligent career framework has been described as having been achieved by the accumulation of career capital through the three ways of knowing, including knowing why, knowing how, and knowing with whom. The data were collected from the interviews with 15 HRD practitioners. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect data from the HRD practitioners. For the orientation about the interview, the researcher explained the importance of gathering data about the personal experiences of the respondents on their work and career. After that explanation, the researcher asked several questions based on the pre-structured interview guide. The data collected were qualitatively analyzed on the basis of the intelligent career framework. Based on the analysis of the interviews, the subcategories of each way of knowing competency were identified. For the knowing why, identity, credibility, and career clarity were identified. The subcategories of knowing how are remaining updates, hard skills, and soft skills, while the subcategories of knowing with whom are personal networking and professional networking. The interdependency among the three career competencies was found. The findings provide theoretical implications of applying an intelligent career framework.

  • This study focuses on the recent turnover of film crews in Korean film industry. Determinants that could have a significant impact on the turnover of film crews are identified through empirical research, in order to seek measures to prevent the loss of experienced film crews. In order for respondents to verify research questions regarding turnover of the film crews, ordered logistic and marginal effects analysis using SPSS and STATA are conducted with the data obtained by surveying 402 film crews in various areas. Data analysis revealed that the variables that have a significant effect on the turnover of film crews are artists' identity, job rank, career barrier and job satisfaction. The characteristics of risk groups with high turnover can be concluded that they are low in job rank and have many career problems, poor job satisfaction and strong identity as a labourer rather than artist's identity. Based on the main findings, practical implications are discussed.
