고등학생의 DLS 검색행태 분석을 통한 학교도서관 자료 접근성 향상 방안 고찰 (A Study on Improving of Access to School Library Collection through High School Students' DLS Search Behavior Analysis)

  • 학교도서관업무지원시스템(DLS)은 학교도서관 자료에 대한 핵심적 접근 도구이다. 본 연구의 목적은 DLS에서의 학생들의 정보검색행태 분석을 통해 학교도서관 자료 접근성 향상 방안을 탐색적으로 고찰하는 데 있다. 이에 학교도서관에서 DLS 검색을 시도하는 학생 42명을 대상으로 DLS 검색과정을 녹화하고 정보요구 전반에 대한 검색-전 질문지와 검색과정과 결과에 대한 검색-후 질문지를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 분석결과, 평소 DLS 이용의 주목적이 단순 여가 독서인 경우, 정보요구가 상대적으로 모호한 경우, 그리고 검색과정에서 복잡한 상황을 겪는 경우 등에서 검색 성공률과 검색 만족도가 낮게 나타났다. 검색 만족도는 검색시간 충분성에 대한 만족도가 가장 높게, 검색 결과 만족도가 가장 낮게 나타났다. 기타 의견으로 정보 통합 검색, 관련 자료추천, 소장 위치 출력, 모바일 앱을 통한 음성 인식, 검색 실수 자동 교정 기능 등 요구가 있었다. 이를 통해 다음과 같이 제언할 수 있다. 첫째, 진학 및 진로정보 제공에 대한 교육 수요자의 요구를 반영하여 DLS 역시 진학 및 진로정보를 제공하는 기능을 보완해야 한다. 둘째, 일반적 정보 검색 시스템 수준으로의 DLS 기능 개선이 필수적이다. 셋째, 학교도서관 현장 인력과 DLS 관리 당국 간 긴밀한 협력을 위한 인프라가 구축되어야 한다.

A revival of primary healing hypotheses: a comparison of traditional healing approaches of Arabs and American Indians

  • When medicine is unable to cure, and the end becomes imminent, or when the patient is tired of the side effects associated with chronic use of drugs, the search for alternative and new ways of healing is begun. Coincidentally, sometimes the alternative is the origin, as is the case for traditional Arab medicine and traditional American Indian healing. Traditional healing is the first healing that all people have used for 200,000 years, since the beginning of Homo sapiens. The sources and elements of traditional Arab medicine have been examined in books and by consulting with traditional Arab healers. Arabic medicine is a career combining both elements of science and philosophy based on religion and traditions, and includes a diversity of healing approaches: spiritual, physical, and using natural products. These approaches are discussed with emphasis on wet cupping (Alhijamah), a practice that is undergoing a revival nowadays in Arab countries. American Indian healing is a career based on religion, tradition, an innate healing gift and extensive training, both in a medical school setting and as an apprentice. Arabic healing approaches are compared to American Indian healing approaches.

국내 간호대학생의 전공만족도 관련변인에 대한 체계적 고찰과 메타분석 (A Meta-analysis of the Variables related to the Major Satisfaction of Nursing students.)

  • Purpose: Factors related to the major satisfaction of nursing students were systematically searched and quantitatively synthesized. Methods: Meta-analysis was conducted upon 47 articles in Korean master and doctorate degree dissertations and academic journals. Meta-analysis of major satisfaction-related variables was conducted using Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA) 2.0 program. The effect size of the related variables was analyzed by converting the statistic r value to Fisher's Z. Results: The overall average effect size of major satisfaction was the largest effect size (ES=.49), followed by cognitive factors (ES=.58), affective factors (ES=.45), and psychomotor factors (ES=.31). The cognitive factors were in the order nursing professionalism(ES=.70), nurse's image (ES=.65), and critical thinking disposition (ES=.36). The affective factors were self-esteem (ES=.59), emotional intelligence (ES=.55), career identity (ES=.49), self-efficacy (ES=.48), college adjustment (ES=.45), practice satisfaction (ES=.45), resilience (ES=.42), (ES=.40), grit (ES=.34), and stress (ES=.26). The psychomotor factors were clinical performance ability (ES=.38) and career search behavior (ES=.31). Conclusion: The results of this study are valuable when giving consideration to the variables related to nursing students' major satisfaction, for developing a strategic model to enhance the satisfaction of nursing students.

기혼여성의 재취업 구조에 관한 사례연구 : 전업주부 재취업훈련 참가자를 중심으로 (Married Women's Return to the Workforce : Findings from the Participants in a Reemployment Training Program)

  • This study was conducted to help develop women's human resources and promote married women's return to workforce. Using various data, we examined the patterns of Korean women's economic activities over the lifecycle, career discontinuation and return to the workforce. We also interviewed twenty full-time housewives who wanted to return to workforce. The interview questions included reasons for seeking employment, desired working conditions, and difficulties in finding a job. Major findings are as follows: First, there were two groups with respect to reasons why they want employment One was an economic need such as earning basic living expenses and supporting the family. The other was self-realization and social participation. Second most women wanted to do unskilled labor such as housekeeping work, whereas some young or well-educated women looked for a professional job. Third, married women preferred part-time jobs, which were compatible with their family care demands. Most of them wanted a workplace located close to home. The women with child-care responsibility preferred working at home. Fourth, regarding difficulties of returning to workforce, they pointed out vocational ability problems due to their career discontinuation, social prejudice such as gender discrimination and psychological pressure in maintaining work and family at the same time. In order to promote employment of married women, it is required not only to change social prejudices but also to increase effectiveness in policy implementation. In addition, counseling for job-search and vocational ability training programs should be provide.

Proactive: Comprehensive Access to Job Information

  • The Internet has become an increasingly important source for finding the right employees, so more and more companies post their job openings on the Web. The large amount and dynamic nature of career recruiting information causes information overload problems for job seekers. To assist Internet users in searching for the right job, a range of research and commercial systems were developed over the past 10 years. Surprisingly, the majority of existing job search systems support just one, rarely two ways of information access. In contrast, our work focused on exploring a value of comprehensive access to job information in a single system (i.e., a system which supports multiple ways). We designed Proactive, a recommendation system providing comprehensive and personalized information access. To assist the varied needs of users, Proactive has four information retrieval methods - a navigable list of jobs, keyword-based search, implicit preference-based recommendations, and explicit preference-based recommendations. This paper introduces the Proactive and reports the results of a study focusing on the experimental evaluation of these methods. The goal of the study was to assess whether all of the methods are necessary for users to find relevant jobs and to what extent different methods can meet different users' information requirements.

한의학술논문검색시스템 기능개선을 위한 사용자 요구 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on User's Requirement Analysis for Improvement of OASIS)

  • 많은 검색엔진의 개발과 웹 기술의 발전으로 기존의 키워드 검색에서 검색어에 의미를 부여하는 시맨틱 검색이 출현하게 되었다. 이런 흐름에 맞추어 한국한의학연구원에서 제공하는 한의학술논문시스템(오아시스)의 개선도 필요하게 되었다. 그리하여 오아시스를 사용해 본 경험이 있는 회원을 대상으로 소속이나 지위, 경력에 대한 인구사회학적 분석과 오아시스의 편리성 및 제공되는 논문의 가치에 대해 분석하였다. 뿐만 아니라, 오아시스의 개선해야 할 방향으로 한의학연구를 위해 분야별 중요도를 조사하였다. 설문의 조사를 통해 얻은 결과, 한자 위주의 검색어에 대한 의미를 파악할 수 있는 자동화검색이 필요하며 키워드 검색방식을 탈피하고 동음이의어를 판별할 수 있는 전거시스템의 도입이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 참고문헌 인용지수 정보와 관련기관의 임상정보와의 연계 필요성 및 Open API를 이용한 해외 주요 사이트와의 연계검색이 필요하다는 결론을 얻었다. 오아시스는 한의학술논문을 서비스하는 국내 유일의 사이트인 만큼 한의계의 요구를 충분히 분석하고 검색의 문제점을 보완한다면 한의학발전의 중추적인 역할을 할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

경기도 직업계고 제공 중학교 진로교육 지원 활동 실태 및 효과 분석 (Analysis of Real State and Effect of Assistance Activity for Middle School Career Education by Gyeonggi-do Vocational High Schools)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 중학생들에게 자신의 소질과 적성에 부합한 직업계고 진학 선택에 필요한 정보를 제공하는 진로교육 체계 구축에 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하는 것이다. 이를 위해서 경기도 중학생의 고등학교 진학 관련 정보 획득 방법, 일반고 및 직업계고에 대한 이해도와 정보 필요도, 직업계고 제공 진로교육 지원 활동 실태 및 효과(진로 선택 도움 정도)를 분석하는 것을 연구 문제로 설정하였다. 이를 해결하기 위해서 설문지를 개발하여 경기도 소재 중학교 627개교, 3학년 4,459명을 대상으로 설문조사 및 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 경기도 중학생의 고등학교 진학 정보를 획득하는 방법은 1순위 인터넷 검색(42.0%), 2순위 가족 및 친구와 상담(25.5%), 3순위 선생님과 상담(24.0%)이 가장 높게 나타났다. 그리고 직업계고 진학 정보를 획득하는 방법은 1순위 직업계고 운영 학교(학과)설명회(39.4%), 2순위 직업계고 견학(24.9%), 3순위 직업계고 교사와의 상담(15.7%)이 가장 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 경기도 중학생의 진로 희망 유형별 고등학교 이해도(5점 만점)와 정보 필요도(5점 만점)는 일반고 진학 희망 학생의 경우, 이해도 3.65, 정보 필요도 3.67, 이해도와 정보 필요도의 차이는 0.02이고, 직업계고 진학 희망 학생의 경우, 이해도 2.92, 정보 필요도 3.25, 이해도와 정보 필요도의 차이는 0.33으로 나타났다. 셋째, 경기도 중학생의 직업계고 제공 진로교육 지원 활동에 대한 참여 실태는 전체 79.4%가 참여하고 있다. 이 중에서 참여 비율이 높은 활동은 직업계고 홍보 및 안내서(책자, 브로셔 등) 90.3%, 중학교 교실로 찾아오는 직업계고 학교설명회 87.8%, 직업계고 홍보 및 안내 동영상 시청 85.9% 등의 순으로 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 활동이 중학생에게 진로 선택에 도움을 주는 정도는 3.45이고, 도움을 주는 정도는 일반고 진학 희망 학생보다 직업계고 진학 희망 학생에게 0.13만큼 더 높게 나타났다.

신세대특성(新世代特性)과 속옷 구매시(購買時) 정보탐색(情報探索)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (A Study on Dimension of the Characteristics of New Young Generation and Information Search for Buying Inner Wear)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the variables which could characteristics the New Young Generation (NYG), to investigate the relationship between level of NYG characteristics and information searching related to underwear purchasing, and the differences level of the NYG characteristics according to demographic variables (sex, grade, major), and examine the casual relationships of demographic variables (sex, place of growing background, parent's education) and level of the NYG characteristics on information searching related to underwear purchasing. The subjects were 723 college students (female = 324, male=398) living in Seoul and Kyuggi were participated in this study. The NYG is limited to person who born after 1970's. The result of this study were as follows; 1. Five factors of New Young Generation oriented characteristics were identified; F.1 'Info-telecommunication(Info-Telecom)'; F.2 'Family and Marriage'; F.3 'Consumption pattern'; FA 'Self-centered (Individualism)'; F.5 Work/Career oriented. 2. The relationship between the NYG characteristics and information search in underwear purchasing were significanted. 3. In demographic variables, gender, grade, and major were partially significant differences. 4. In male students, the result of the casual relationship between demographic variables with NYG characteristics and the level of the NYG in underwear purchasing showed that grade, background of grownplace, level of parent's education were significanted the high level of info-telecom factor associated with higher grade, city-grown, higher level of parent's education. In conclusion, the result showed that the level of NYG characteristics was significant to male students and specially for grade older students. The background of parent's education level was the another important variables to predicting the NYG characteristics. Finally the higher the NYG characteristics, the more information search in underwear purchasing.

예방의학의 발전방향: 보건의료관리 분야 (Vision and Training Strategy for Health Management Specialist)

  • The identity crisis of preventive medicine appears to have been deepening. As a solution, it is insisted that preventive medicine should focus on clinical preventive medicine. However, in the field of heath policy and management, the better solution should be found in a serious search for visions and perspectives of its study on population and society. In this regard, the specialist who studies the field can be defined as a medical doctor majoring in public health. In this paper, I first forecasted major socioeconomic changes to occur in medical and public health arena and explored the role of those studying health policy and management. Secondly, I summarized their career paths and main activities in order to establish visions. Finally, I proposed curriculums on health policy and management for medical school undergraduates and for specialists majoring in preventive medicine, respectively.

  • With rapid social change, security industries were diversified and universities related total security service were founded for training of specialist with a theory and practical affairs. Today, universities must provide an education which fits to job characteristics in rapidly changing society. Also students through this education must find their job properly. The purposes of this study, therefore, are to search a career selection of students majoring in total security service related departments and to study a role of universities for development of specialist related security industries. Revitalization plan of human resources for departments related security services are as follows ; roles of universities: a specialization of curriculum and a diversification of training method. 'academic-industrial cooperation', role of government: 'a legal and institutional policy on academic-industrial cooperation';. Universities, cooperations, government must cooperate mutually for development of specialist related security service field.
