Analysis of National Education Plan Implementation for Lifelong Education Promotion Basic Plan and Career Education Internalization Support Plan

  • This study examines the meaning of the national education plan promotion background, focusing on the 5th Lifelong Education Promotion Basic Plan (2023-2027) and the 3rd 2023 Career Education Internalization Support Plan (2023-2027). The purpose of this study is to present future directions for lifelong education and career education. The research results indicate that The 5th Lifelong Education Promotion Basic Plan (2023-2027) and the 3rd 2023 Career Education Internalization Support Plan (2023-2027) have both been established to cope with the future social and educational environment; thus, it is necessary to realize them. For this purpose, concrete policy alternatives have been prepared. In modern society, it is vital for the state to promote basic plans related to education, particularly for developing and improving the education system. In this respect, when suggesting the direction of lifelong and career education, first, policies for social development and strengthening competitiveness are important. Second, policies are needed that respond to changes in jobs and occupations. Third, lifelong and career education are essential to ensure social inclusion and fairness. Fourth, lifelong and career education are vital in nurturing human resources for sustainable development.

진로스트레스가 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향: 진로결정 자기효능감 및 진로동기의 순차적 매개 효과 (Effect of Career Stress on Career Preparation Behavior: Sequential Mediating Effects of Career Decision Self-efficacy and Career Motivation)

  • 본 연구는 대학생 자신과 대학교 진로 관계자가 성공적으로 진로 준비를 할 수 있도록, 진로준비행동에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 요인을 찾고자 했다. 선행 연구 고찰을 통해, 대학생이 성공적으로 진로 목표를 설정하고, 목표를 달성하기 위한 계획을 세우고, 구체적으로 실천하는 행동에 영향을 주는 개인 변인을 도출했고, 변인 간 관계의 유의미성을 확인하고자 했다. 전국 4년제 대학생 300명을 대상으로 설문조사를 통해 진로스트레스, 진로결정자기효능감, 진로동기, 진로준비행동의 관계를 분석한 결과, 진로스트레스는 진로자기효능감에 부적 영향를 미쳤고, 진로결정자기효능감은 진로동기에 정적 영향을 미쳤으며, 진로동기는 진로준비행동에 정적 영향을 미쳤다. 그리고 진로스트레스와 진로준비행동 사이에 진로결정자기효능감과 진로동기가 순차적으로 매개했다. 본 연구결과를 통해 대학생이 성공적으로 진로를 준비하는 데 필요한 개인적 변인을 찾고, 변인 간 관계를 확인했다는 데 그 의의가 있다. 아울러 대학교 진로 관계자는 진로결정자기효능감과 진로동기를 높일 수 있는 진로 프로그램을 개발할 필요성이 있음을 제시했다.

Career Management and Employees Retention in Professional Service Organizations: An Empirical Study from Indonesia

  • The purpose of this study is to see how career management affects employee retention in professional service businesses (PSOs). The role of knowledge and skills as moderating variables in the relationship between career management and intention to stay is also investigated. A review of the literature on career management, which includes promotion, training, mentorship, starting salary, and the laxity-stringency of organizational entry-exit rules, leads to the hypothesis that career management positively affects employees' intentions to stay. Such a positive impact may differ between knowledgeable and skilled employees and their less knowledgeable and skilled counterparts. Cross-sectional data is obtained from 200 professionals working for various PSOs. Stepwise regression is employed to analyze the data. The research found that career management positively affects the intention to stay. The impact of promotion, training and mentorship on the intention to stay is moderated by knowledge and skills. Conversely, knowledge and skills do not moderate the effect of starting salary and the laxity-stringency of organizational entry-exit on intention to stay. The study's findings imply that by implementing effective career management, talented professionals can be retained. However, the level of knowledge and skills should be carefully considered. These findings offer significant insights into human capital management, particularly in PSOs.

The Impact of Shared Leadership on Organizational Commitment and Career Development in Startups

  • Due to the relative lack of concerns and research on organizational career development in startups, we study aimed to reveal the impact of shared leadership in startups on organizational career development through organizational commitment. The research method was an online survey targeting 200 startup members from April 11 to April 28, 2023, and a total of 195 copies were used in the final analysis. As a result of the study, first, among the shared leadership of startups, development and mentoring were found to have a positive impact on emotional commitment. Second, among the shared leadership of startups, planning and organizing, support and empathy were found to have a positive impact on continuous commitment. Third, planning and organizing, support and empathy had a positive impact on normative commitment. Third, among startups' shared leadership, planning and organizing, support and empthy had a positive impact on normative commitment. Fourth, emotional and continuous commitment were found to have a positive impact on improving career goals in organizational career growth. Fifth, emotional and continuous and normative commitment were each found to have a positive influence on the development of professional abilities in organizational career development. Lastly, emotional, continuous and normative commitment were all found to have a positive influence on the speed of promotion in organizational career growth. As a result, it is expected that the results of this study will be able to suggest shared leadership policy directions and goals for startups.

특급호텔 조리사 직업선택동기에 따른 직무만족에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Job Satisfaction of the Five-star Hotel Chef Career Choice Motives)

  • The purposes of this study were to examine the motivation of career choice for chefs in luxury hotels through IPA analysis based on the differences between importance and satisfaction, and to investigate the impact of motivations of career choice on job satisfaction. The results are as follows. First, "matched aptitude" and "interest in cook" were found as factors of importance and satisfaction. Second, sufficient reward should be provided through incentive, increasing salary, and promotion. Third, the system of internship and temporary employee should be revised, and the motivation should be provided through performance-based reward and incentive system. Fourth, fair personal evaluation, transparent promotion system, fair reward system should be required to increase job satisfaction. Fifth, internal environment is important rather than social reputation or popularity for those who consider chefs as future career.

대학생의 진로미래에 대한 타인의 영향력: 진로준비행동의 매개 효과 (The Influence of Others on University Students’ Career Future Inventory: Mediating Effect of Career Preparation Behavior)

  • 본 연구는 대학생을 대상으로 타인의 영향력이 진로미래에 미치는 관계에서 진로준비행동의 매개효과를 검증하고, 진로발달을 지원하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 대학생 152명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 26.0과 AMOS 26.0을 활용하여 기술통계, 상관분석, 확인적 요인분석, 구조방정식모형(SEM)으로 분석하였다. 분석결과, 타인의 영향력, 진로준비행동, 진로미래 간에 유의한 정적 상관관계가 나타났으며, 진로준비행동은 타인의 영향력과 진로미래 간의 관계에서 부분 매개 효과를 갖는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 연구결과는 대학생의 진로미래 향상을 위해 사회적 지지 및 모델과 같은 타인의 긍정적 영향력과 함께 진로준비행동의 활성화가 중요함을 시사한다.

Career Exploration for Customized Career Curriculum Design

  • This study aims to assess the current status of career education at C University and to gather foundational data for developing a step-by-step career education curriculum and an integrated roadmap for curriculum and extracurricular career education. This research involves a comparative analysis of C University's enrolled students and external university students through a survey using the [University Career Exploration Model]. Data collection took place over one month in October 2023, and statistical analysis was conducted using the SPSS Statistics 25.0 program. The survey results enabled a comparative analysis of the career exploration processes and levels between enrolled students at C University and external university students. The proportion of enrolled students at C University responding positively to the career exploration process and level was high. Through this study, a better understanding of the career exploration processes and levels of university students was achieved. It is deemed necessary to conduct systematic research for continuous, tailored integration of curriculum and extracurricular career education at the university level.

Study on the Effectiveness and Satisfaction of Calligraphy Program

  • This is a single-group pre-post study conducted to determine the effect of a calligraphy program on nursing students' career decision-making self-efficacy and self- leadership. The data collected from 231 second-year nursing students were analyzed using SPSS WIN 25.0 to determine descriptive statistics, paired t-test to analyze the effect of calligraphy, and Pearson correlation coefficient to determine the relationship between career decision self-efficacy and self-leadership. After the program, both career decision self-efficacy (t=7.23, p<.001) and self-leadership (t=6.81, p<.001) improved. The analysis of career decision self-efficacy and self-leadership after the program showed a strong correlation (r=.849, p<.001). The results of this study are significant in that they validate the effectiveness of a calligraphy program in promoting self-leadership and career decision-making self-efficacy among nursing students who do not have clear career goals. Students' overall satisfaction with the calligraphy program was 4/5 points, and they most highly evaluated the smooth interaction between fellow students through the program. At a time when the importance of cultural arts education is gradually increasing in social and educational fields around the world, calligraphy has the advantage of laying the foundation for the promotion of basic arts for the revitalization of cultural arts, so educational support is needed not only in terms of improving the quality of life and pursuing self-actualization of individuals with emotional expression and creative problem-solving skills, but also at the social level.

대학생 진로인식 및 진로교육프로그램 분석을 통한 대학 진로교육 개선 방안 연구 (Study on the Improvement of Career Education Based on Analysis of Awareness and the Program of Undergraduate's Career Education)

  • 본 연구는 대학의 진로교육 정책과 현황을 살펴보고, 대학생의 진로인식 및 진로교육프로그램 분석을 통해 진로교육 개선을 위한 기초자료를 마련하기 위해 수행되었다. G대학 재학생 1,322명을 대상으로 실시한 진로취업인식조사에서 진로교육관련 결과를 활용하여 데이터를 수집하였으며, 학년 및 계열에 따라 학생의 진로인식은 교차분석을, 진로교육프로그램 선호도는 기술통계분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 자기이해를 통한 진로탐색프로그램을 강화하고, 진로결정 시기를 앞당겨야 하며, 개인의 진로준비 정도에 맞는 진로교육프로그램 개발의 필요성을 제안하였다.

국내 여성 캐릭터.커리어 브랜드의 리포지셔닝에 관한 연구 - 수입 매스티지 브랜드와의 비교 분석을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Repositioning of Korean Character/Career Women's Wear Brands - Focused on the Comparative Analysis with Import Masstige Brands -)

  • The purpose of this study was to suggest the repositioning strategy for Korean character/career women's wear brands by comparing them with masstige brands. The subjects were 240 Women in their twenties and early forties in Seoul and the metropolitan area. The data had been collected by self-administered questionnaire and analyzed by frequency and biplot. The results of the study were as follows: (1) The brand preference was 'Time'(33.3%), 'Michaa'(12.5%), and then 'Mine'(8.8%) in sequence; (2) For brand differentiation, the attributes of 'store image', 'comfortableness', 'brand reputation', and 'promotion' were found out to be important in sequence; (3) The national character/career brands were favored by theirs 'store image', 'quality', and 'design', while imported masstige brands were favored by theirs 'comfortableness', 'brand reputation', 'promotion', and 'perceived price'; (4) Among brands, 'Time' had been highly evaluated, but comparatively showed weakness on 'perceived price', 'comfortableness', and 'promotion'.
