In-situ 소음투과손실 측정 및 검증을 위한 기법 개발 (New Method for Measurement and Validation of In-situ Sound Transmission Loss)

  • The sound transmission loss is a key index to evaluate the acoustic performance of a car-body structure at the high frequency range. From this paper, a new validation method for in-situ sound transmission loss is proposed. First, in-situ sound transmission loss is measured by using PU intensity probe on the condition of complete vehicle. Second, validation test, which is consisted of internal, external and total frequency response function test, is performed by using volume acceleration source and microphones. Then, these test results are compared to validate the accuracy of in-situ sound transmission loss. Finally, the test result of in-site method is compared with results of two reverberant room test method and SEA analytical method. The reliability of in-situ method is confirmed by these procedures.

  • In this paper, a pendulum system is constructed to perform the fundamental research which is concentrated on the various frequency pattern of impact-object simulation tests. Because to reduce injuries of pedestrians, and to satisfy the criterions of the EECV and Euro-NCAP. We analyze the frequency responses to recognize the impact objects. This study will be the basic data to development the smart bumper to protect the pedestrians.

잡음 마스킹 레벨에 따른 복수 모델을 이용한 자동차 소음환경에서의 음성인식 (Speech recognition in car noise environments using multiple models according to noise masking levls)

  • 음성인식 시스템의 실용화 과정에서 훈련환경과 테스트 환경의 불일치로 인한 인식성능의 저하는 반드시 극복되어야 할 문제이다. 본 논문에서는 잡음 tR인 입력음성의 비음성구간에서 잡음레벨을 추정하여 음성 스펙트럼에서 추정된 잡음레벨을 빼는 스펙트럼 차감법고 스펙트럼 영역에서 미리 정해진 마스킹 레벨보다 낮은 에너지 값을 마스킹 레벨로 올려주는 잡음 마스킹을 함께 사용함으로써 훈련 환경과 테스트환경의 불일치를 줄이는 방법을 제안한다. 그리고 복수의 마스킹 레벨에 대한 모델들을 미리 만들어 두고 추정된 잡음 레벨에 따라 적합한 마스킹 레벨의 보델을 사용하여 인식을 수해?는 다중 모델 방법을 적용하였다. 자동차 소음환경에서 두 가지 마스킹 레벨에 대한 모델을 이용한 화자독립고립단어 인식 실험을 통하여 본 논문에서 제안한 방식은 정차중 무시동 환경에서 95.8%, 정차중 시동 환경에서 95.6%, 한적한 도로환경에서 92.8%, 복잡한 시내도로 환경에서 89.6%, 고속도로 환경에서 74.4%의 인식성능을 나타내었으며, 평균 90.7%의 성능을 얻을 수 있다.

  • The transmission loss coefficient is very important acoustic property in parallel with absorption and acoustic impedance categorizing the acoustical materials, which can control the acoustical problems. At the same time, the transmission loss coefficient is a key parameter to choose the optimum material for the analysis of acoustical characteristics of material using SEA(Statistical Energy Analysis). In this paper, the acoustic transmission loss measurement system using 4-microphone TL tube is applied to the exhaust system, which is one of the most important acoustic control parameters in a car, based on the idea calculating the full transfer matrix. The theoretical background and measurement system are introduced, and finally the measurement results are verified.

  • This Research is to test the running stability of the developed bogie with 350km/h of which conventional speed is faster than Korea TGV 300Km/h. The running stability test has been executed in status of a car with the developed bogie on the roller rigger to adjust similar to the actual condition. And the test has been done in the two rail conditions, i.e. excitation and non-excitation, respectively. Running speed of bogie increased by the roller step by step. In consequence, the developed bogie in the non-excitation has run without any unstable point for 400kn0h. Vibration characteristics of carbody also was within the value specified on the UIC 518.

  • The purpose of the work is to improve comfort of a car seat, especially dynamic comfort which affects driver's discomfort during the long time driving. Definition of dynamic comfort was made before the investigation of which parameter affects seat comfort. In order to optimize design parameters so as to maximize seat comfort as well as to know the cause of discomfort, benchmarking on a target vehicle and competitive vehicles was performed, which showed both the vibration transmission characteristics and the compression set due to dynamic loading should be reduced. As a solution ball rebounds was increased by about 10% of the original foam, which showed reduction of S.E.A.T. value by 10% and of compression set by 60%.

  • The Roadway caused through Power Train engine vibration and bad ride comfort. It is very important to analyze the vibratory characteristics. The mathematical models on the Power Train, which is composed of engine-/transmission block, universal joint shaft, differential, rear axle arm and wheels, are developed and is verified by the experiments. This Paper describes the coupling influence occurred through a complete drive system for the power train. Dies study is carried out computationally with a calculation program and experimentally with the aid of the mode analysis.

  • This paper is concerned with the dynamic modeling for the hardware-in-the-loop simulation of lateral vibrations of a railway vehicle. The resulting dynamic model is a nine degree-of-freedom model which can describe the lateral, roll and yaw motions of the car body and two bogies. It is assumed that the external disturbances come from wheel motions. In order to test the efficacy of the model, the linear quadratic regulator and the sky-hook control algorithm were designed and applied to the model. The simulation results show that both control algorithms are effective in suppressing the vibrations of railway vehicles.

  • Medium and high speed marine diesel engines with reduction gear have been widely used as prime mover in small car ferries and fishing vessels. The elastic coupling should be installed and complemented the propulsion shafting system to isolate the vibratory torque between engine and reduction gear. In this paper, the dynamic characteristics of elastic coupling with rubber type circular segments is confirmed by theoretical analysis using the FEM and the hydraulic excitation test at shop. Further adaptation was investigated with the torsional vibration test at diesel engine factory shop.
