  • For given non-negative real numbers 𝛼k with ∑mk=1 𝛼k = 1 and normalized analytic functions fk, k = 1, …, m, defined on the open unit disc, let the functions F and Fn be defined by F(z) := ∑mk=1 𝛼kfk(z), and Fn(z) := n-1n-1j=0 e-2j𝜋i/nF(e2j𝜋i/nz). This paper studies the functions fk satisfying the subordination zf'k(z)/Fn(z) ≺ h(z), where the function h is a convex univalent function with positive real part. We also consider the analogues of the classes of starlike functions with respect to symmetric, conjugate, and symmetric conjugate points. Inclusion and convolution results are proved for these and related classes. Our classes generalize several well-known classes and the connections with the previous works are indicated.

  • This study was purpose to assessment of the resolution characteristics by using ATS 535H Basic quality assurance (QA) phantom for ultrasound. The ultrasound equipment was used Logiq P6 (Ultrasound, GE Healthcare System, Chicago, IL, USA). And the ultrasound transducer were used Convex 4C (4~5.5 MHz), Linear 11L (10~13 MHz), Sector 3SP (3~5.5 MHz) probe. As for the noise power spectrum (NPS) comparison results by using ATS 535H Basic QA ultrasound phantom and Convex 4C, Linear 11L, Sector 3SP probe. The NPS value of the Convex 4C probe image was 0.0049, Linear 11L probe image was 0.0049, Sector 3SP probe image was 0.1422 when the frequency is 1.0 mm-1. The modulation transfer function (MTF) comparison results by using ATS 535H Basic QA ultrasound phantom and Linear 11L probe the MTF value of the 3 cm focus image was 0.7511 and 4 cm focus image was 0.9001 when the frequency is 1.0 mm-1. This study was presented characteristics of spatial resolution a quantitative evaluation methods by using ultrasound medical images for QA of ultrasound medical QA phantom. The quality control (QC) for equipment maintenance can be efficiently used in the clinic due to the quantitative evaluation of the NPS and MTF as the standard methods. It is meaningful in that it is applied mutatis mutandis and presented the results of physical resolution characteristics of the ultrasound medical image.

  • In the present paper we introduce the subclass $S^{\lambda}_{a,c}(p,A,B)$ of analytic functions and then we investigate some interesting properties of functions belonging to this subclass. Our results generalize many results known in the literature and especially generalize some of the results obtained by Ling and Liu [5].

  • We use convolution techniques to define certain classes of starlike functions which are associated with Lommel operator. Some inclusion results are investigated. It is also shown that these classes are invariant under Bernardi integral operator.

  • In this paper, a meshfree shell adaptive procedure is developed for the applications in the sheet metal forming simulation. The meshfree shell formulation is based on the first-order shear deformable shell theory and utilizes the degenerated continuum and updated Lagrangian approach for the nonlinear analysis. For the sheet metal forming simulation, an h-type adaptivity based on the meshfree background cells is considered and a geometric error indicator is adopted. The enriched nodes in adaptivity are added to the centroids of the adaptive cells and their shape functions are computed using a first-order generalized meshfree (GMF) convex approximation. The GMF convex approximation provides a smooth and non-negative shape function that vanishes at the boundary, thus the enriched nodes have no influence outside the adapted cells and only the shape functions within the adaptive cells need to be re-computed. Based on this concept, a multi-level refinement procedure is developed which does not require the constraint equations to enforce the compatibility. With this approach the adaptive solution maintains the order of meshfree approximation with least computational cost. Two numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the performance of the proposed method in the adaptive shell analysis.

  • By investigating the practical use of trim punch configurations for shearing of vehicle panels, the current study first reviews the shearing angle as part of the shearing die design. Based on this review, four different types of trim punch shapes (i.e., horizontal, slope, convex, and concave type) and shearing angles(i.e., 0.76°, 1.53°, 2.29°, 3.05°, 3.81°) were investigated. In order to conduct shearing experiments, four types of trim punch dies were made. The four trim punch dies were tested under various conditions. The experiments used the four trim punch shapes and the five shearing angles. The shearing force varied by shape and decreased from horizontal, slope, convex, to concave for the same shearing angle. The magnitude of shearing force showed differences between the convex and the concave shapes due to the influence of constrained shearing versus free shearing. The test results showed that compared to the horizontal trim punch shearing force, the decrease of the slope, convex, and concave shearing forces were 22.6% to 60.4%. Based on the results, a pad pressure of over 30% is suggested when designing a shearing die.

  • In this paper, we analyze the dynamics of langevine competitive learning neural network based on its fokker-plank equation. From the viewpont of the stochastic differential equation (SDE), langevine competitive learning equation is one of langevine stochastic differential equation and has the diffusin equation on the topological space (.ohm., F, P) with probability measure. We derive the fokker-plank equation from the proposed algorithm and prove by introducing a infinitestimal operator for markov semigroups, that the weight vector in the particular simplex can converge to the globally optimal point under the condition of some convex or pseudo-convex performance measure function. Experimental resutls for pattern recognition of the remote sensing data indicate the superiority of langevine competitive learning neural network in comparison to the conventional competitive learning neural network.

  • This paper proposes a classification method using an amorphous Prototype to minimize classification error caused by such fixed-Prototype-based methods as Fuzzy C-Means, Nearest Neighborring Classification, FMMCNN, and Fuzzy-ART. For this method, a new fuzzy neural network is introduced, in which a convex polytope is generated or adaptively reshaped to classify the given datum into a proper group. Thus, this method contains a function to classify sequential data set. To show the validity of this method, various numerical experiments including comparison results with FMMCNN are presented

  • In this paper, we study analytic and geometric properties of the solution q(z) to the differential equation q(z) + zq'(z)/q(z) = h(z) with the initial condition q(0) = 1 for a given analytic function h(z) on the unit disk |z| < 1 in the complex plane with h(0) = 1. In particular, we investigate the possible largest constant c > 0 such that the condition |Im [zf"(z)/f'(z)]| < c on |z| < 1 implies starlikeness of an analytic function f(z) on |z| < 1 with f(0) = f'(0) - 1 = 0.

  • In this paper, we show that Greene-Krantz's conjecture is true for certain class of domains. In fact, we give a complete classification of automorphism groups of domains of the form (Fig.) where the function .phi. is a real valued $C^{\infty}$ function in a neighborhood of [0,1] which satisfies the following conditions; (1) .phi.(0)=.phi.'(0)=0 and .phi.(1)=1, (2) .phi.(t) is increasing and convex for t>0.vex for t>0.
