  • Recent explosive increases in information 'volume have led to a rapid development or a change of information technology which stores, searches, and manages a vast amount of information. It is considered that an effective share and utilization of a large amount of digital information produced by work performances is a pivotal element which can make decisive contributions to a great success of business management. This common property of information reflects a changing social paradigm including a change of business processes. This paper is aimed at designing and embodying the construction of knowledge base in an efficient project management system using unsupervised data mining techniques in order to extract information and utilize it as knowledge about standard data (statistical data, template etc.,), size prediction and a danger precaution notice which are needed for a plan and a scheduling of a new project from data coming from already-established projects.

Develop a Correct Scaled Body Figure Templates for Technical Flat (도식화 제작을 위한 연령그룹별 바디 템플릿 개발)

  • In global apparel product development, flat is one of the most important key factor for technical design communication. Proportionally correct flats based on correct scaled human body figures are imperative to be successful in the fashion business. In this study the researchers were to develop body templates for flats for Korean women body types using data from 'Size Korea 2004 (5th)', which is a Korean government apparel sizing project to analyze women's body measurements (age range 7-49). We measured 13 height measurements, 6 width measurements, 8 circumference measurements, 6 length measurements, 3 angle measurements and 5 body measurements. A body figure (i.e., schema) for each group was created by Pattern Design Software (PAD) System 4.1. Muscle was added to the schema created by Adobe Illustrator to ensure a better visualization and convenience for industry uses for flats. Developed body figure template of representative type had the largest difference in height level compared to exiting figures. It had a bigger head, lower crotch level, and longer crotch depth and hip length than existing figures.

  • Nowadays, globally high-grade companies have done their best for increasing their competitive power through a many kinds of method in incisive competition for making certain of a pacesetting position. Among the rest, Six Sigma have been the best methodology of improving process and have proven to be effective by the result of improving process in many of manufacturing business, however, it has not obtained excellent results in the transaction business. In transaction business, a $30\sim50%$ costs in total costs is generated by slow-speed working and reworking. The slow processes decrease the quality and increase the cost, which decreases customer satisfaction, and finally the income is decreased. All of them are so called wastes in processes. For this, adopting of lean six sigma methodology in process management can eliminate the wastes and reduce the variation. This study focuses on distribution with the domains like capacity, layout, amount of location, assignment of product, operation procedure and operation rule in order to improve these domains, we make a further application of eight analysis ways based on DMAIC method for improving operation of processes of distribution center as the third profit source. The goal of this study is to trace an approach that can easily adopt of Lean Six Sigma in operational management of distribution center by a kind of data, analysis method and template.

  • The web-based project is seriously not efficient area at software engineering. In order to develop a web-based system, UI(User Interface) designers usually first design display layout and then business logic developers bring to complete the coding of the display layout source. In the case of maintenance, it goes through the same process, This kinds of web-based software development method were proposed by the various methods same as the tag library of JSP, But there are many problems to apply them and they are low productive comparing to the CIS based software development method, WFS(Neb Form System), which is suggested on this thesis, separates UI design from business logic on a web project and offers the better environment to develop web based software, Eventually WFS will improve the productivity to develop web based software.

XBRL Adoption Process in Malaysia Using Diffusion of Innovation Theory

  • The study examined the XBRL adoption process of Malaysian Business Reporting System (MBRS) by utilizing Everett Rogers' Diffusion of Innovation (DOI) theory. The study focused on the three phases, namely, knowledge gathering and persuasion phase, decision-making phase, and implementation phase of XBRL adoption process gathered from a government agency in Malaysia. This study employs a qualitative case study that incorporates semi-structured interviews with four members of the regulator. The results reveal that the regulator has realized the advantages, management support, and need to skills development in phase one. On the other hand, in phase two, it finds the way the regulator makes decision related to XBRL taxonomy and submission template, platform, tools and software. Through phase three, the regulator is concerned with the complexity of XBRL taxonomy, resources, external support, promotion, stakeholder involvement, limited trading pressure, critical mass, and professional bodies. The factors from each phase suggest an in-depth understanding on the experience of XBRL through the development of MBRS that provides a success story to the other government agencies and regulators in Malaysia. This study provides several insights on the factors that could contribute to the adoption of XBRL and the Diffusion of Innovation theory adoption process.

  • The existing CBD development methods deal with the analysis phase in a superficial manner. Applying such a superficial analysis to business applications with a number of subsystems makes analysis models be inconsistent with levels and styles, only depending on experiences of the analysts. This inconsistent analysis might cause more serious problems during the subsequent development phases, resulting in the failure of the projects. In this paper, we propose a rule-based analysis pattern that provides an analysis template for business applications. This pattern analyzes the concepts of business applications by using external events and internal rules that process the events. Employing this pattern, a huge business application can be developed by a couple of co-analysts who work together in a consistent and systematic manner. This paper also describes an efficient way to develop business components with the suggested analysis pattern using banking deposit case study through UML Components development process.

  • As the number of users who are involved in a business process increases, it becomes imperative to effectively control their privileges of accessing sensitive data and information which are usually easily obtained by BPM system. Traditional RBAC (Role-based Access Control) model was first introduced to provide a logical framework to prevent unauthorized users from obtaining confidential, but in more dynamic environment such as B2B and SCM process, it usually lacks in capability of addressing such issues as configurability, customizability, or scalability of user privileges. In this study, we have proposed a privilege-template based RBAC model that can address such issues effectively. We also provided a design of the RBAC model along with illustrative examples and pseudo codes that can be used for implementing a prototype system.

  • A new design field called eDesign appears as if eBiz is an online related business in which an industrialized design creates the individual value added facing a digital revolution. The field of eDesign requires a special design process and management methodology regardless of the fact that human sensitivity will be satisfied through a dehumanized computer technique. However, it is the reality of eDesign that has been dependent upon a simple process or project management tool of general design. In this study, we develop an eDesign platform based on an eDesign process and template mainly focused on eBusiness in order to overcome the wrong situation. The template is a kind of document that has a standardization form. We aim to establish a general process through various case projects, store information using a necessary template, and use for the way of visual communication. We propose a standard of eDesign platform that can be widely applied to the field of design, medium and small enterprises focused on IT businesses or design-team through this project performed as an educational-industrial study. It makes it possible to get a detailed process methodology, which can be applied to many small design related companies that don't have their own process yet, and will be a scale for comparing their own process in which the company has a process of opened standard eDesign with it. In addition, it makes possible a systematic control of the own projects within and outside the firm, accumulating information for the firm through the database, and easy communication. Furthermore, it can be applied to check the process of the project as a checklist, and then it will reduce trial and error repeated for every project that has been done.

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to identify problems of current educational facility data management and recommend a standardized terminology classification system as a solution. In addition, the research aims to present a preemptive and integrated disaster and safety management framework for educational facilities by seeking efficient business processes through secured data quality, systematic data management, and external data linkage and analysis. Design/methodology/approach A terminology classification system has been established through various processes including filtering and analysis of related data including laws, manuals, educational facilities accidents, and historical records. Furthermore, the terminology classification system has been further reviewed through several consultations with experts and practitioners. In addition, the accumulated data was refined according to the established standard terminology and an Excel database was developed. Based on the data, accident patterns occurred in educational facilities over the past 10 years were analyzed. Findings In the study, a template was developed to collect consistent data for the standardized disaster and safety management terminology classification system in educational facilities. In addition, the standardized data utilization methods are presented from the viewpoint of 'education facility disaster safety data management', 'data analysis and insight', 'business management through data', and 'leaping into big data management'.
