An Exploration of MIS Quarterly Research Trends: Applying Topic Modeling and Keyword Network Analysis (MIS Quarterly 연구동향 탐색: 토픽모델링 및 키워드 네트워크 분석 활용)

  • In a knowledge-based society where knowledge and information industries are the main pillars of the economy, knowledge sharing and diffusion and its systematic management are recognized as essential strategies for improving national competitiveness and sustainable social development. In the field of Information Systems (IS) research, where the convergence of information technology and management takes place in various ways, the evolution of knowledge occurs only when researchers cooperate in turning old knowledge into new knowledge from the perspective of the scientific knowledge network. In particular, it is possible to derive new insights by identifying topics of interest in the relevant research field, applied methodologies, and research trends through network-based interdisciplinary graftings such as citations, co-authorships, and keywords. In previous studies, various attempts have been made to understand the structure of the knowledge system and the research trends of the relevant community by revealing the relationship between research topics, methodologies, and co-authors. However, most studies have compared two or more journals and been limited to a certain period; hence, there is a lack of research that looked at research trends covering the entire history of IS research. Therefore, this study was conducted in the following order for all the papers (from its first issue in 1977 to the first quarter of 2022) published in the MIS Quarterly (MISQ) Journal, which plays a leading role in revealing knowledge in the IS research field: (1) After extracting keywords, (2) classifying the extracted keywords into research topics, methodologies, and theories, and (3) using topic modeling and keyword network analysis in order to identify the changes from the beginning to the present of the IS research in a chronological manner. Through this study, it is expected that by examining the changes in IS research published in MISQ, the developing patterns of IS research can be revealed, and a new research direction can be presented to IS researchers, nurturing the sustainability of future research.

  • In the last few years, banks have experienced more challenging market than any other times. They need to find new ways to reconnect with their customers and rebuild their trust. But in the race to the future some banks are taking clear lead. Research works show that while high perform leading banks are different, they also share some common characteristics and principles that have allowed them to move ahead to profitable growth. Cost cutting is no longer enough to succeed in tomorrow's world. Instead, the IT function needs to work shoulder-to-shoulder with the business to support the growth agenda. Therefore "C" level's attention is moving from cost reduction towards customer experience, speeding to market for new offerings, analytics and distribution channel enhancements, taking advantage of several levers that will shape the technology agenda for the high performing organization. Next generation of digital core-banking solutions will improve pre-existing capabilities, introduce new innovations and drive qualities such as flexibility and scalability to support time to market.

That organization culture of these phenomenon becomes resource of company competitive power indeed, it is basing to logic for important leading person for elevation with systemicity. also, great many scholars do research to subject that is change management of company administration and there are not much example that companies succeed in change actually despite had announced treatise etc. This research tries to synthesize several research subjects by single model regarding confrontation(culture collision) phenomenon between culture that can happen in company through literature research and example analysis basically. Specially, try to classify and divide this by specific developing and arrange in each type with using much this culture analysis in negotiation analytics. Through this problem and suggestion point by this confrontation way in this culture negotiation side and culture risk management side of administration make try to.

A Comparison analysis of Gapjil and Platform Tyranny Cases (갑질 사례와 플랫폼 횡포 사례의 비교 분석)

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to identify features of Gapjil and platform tyranny through South Korea's Gapjil and platform tyranny cases and to suggest countermeasures to both kinds of cases and follow-up study subjects. Methodology/approach We examined South Korea's Gapjil and platform tyranny cases by using Big Data analytics. Then we made a close examination of the two typical cases, through which we compared features and countermeasures of Gapjil and those of platform tyranny. Findings Gapjil mostly occurred at conventional companies and franchise companies, between major and minor companies, or due to lack of owner's qualifications. The features of platform tyranny were excessively monopolistic structure of platform business, inadequate legal sanctions, and features of ICT companies. Establishment of legal bases for sanctions and education for platform participants were suggested as countermeasures.

  • 개인 정보의 확산 및 유출의 문제점으로 인해 보이스 피싱의 피해 건수가 증가하고 있다. 이러한 보이스 피싱의 사회적 문제에 대하여 상황 인지 및 사용자 의도 파악 시스템을 적용하여 해결책으로 제안하고자 한다. 이 시스템은 음성 전화로 이루어지는 순차 정보를 텍스트 데이터에 기반하여 사기범의 문맥적 흐름에서 행위 동사를 추출한다. 추출된 행위 동사의 순차 정보를 통해 보이스 피싱의 상황임을 인지하고, 흐름의 행동 패턴을 분석하여 사기범의 의도를 파악한다. 이러한 상황 인지 및 사용자 의도 파악 시스템은 개인 정보의 문제뿐만 아니라 경제적 피해 규모를 축소시킬 것으로 예상된다.

  • Accruals-Quality(AQ) is an important proxy for evaluating the quality of accounting information disclosures. High-quality accounting information will provide high predictability and precision in the disclosure of earnings and will increase the response to stock prices. And high Accruals-Quality, such as mitigating heterogeneity in accounting information interpretation, provides information usefulness in capital markets. The purpose of this study is to suggest how AQ, which represents the quality of accounting information disclosure, is transformed into digitized data in real-time in combination with IT information technology and provided to financial analyst's information environment in real-time. And AQ is a framework for predictive analysis through big data log analysis system. This real-time information from AQ will help financial analysts to increase their activity and reduce information asymmetry. In addition, AQ, which is provided in real time through IT information technology, can be used as an important basis for decision-making by users of capital market information, and is expected to contribute in providing companies with incentives to voluntarily improve the quality of accounting information disclosure.

Cloud computing is on-request network admittance to computing assets, given by an external element.   • Companies are building and utilizing their own data analysis systems according to business characteristics in the distributed cloud. However, as businesses and data types become more complex and diverse, the demand for more efficient analytics has increased. In response to these demands, in this paper, we propose an unsupervised learning-based data analysis agent to which reinforcement learning is applied for effective data analysis. The proposal agent consists of reinforcement learning processing manager and unsupervised learning manager modules. These two modules configure an agent with k-means clustering on multiple nodes and then perform distributed training on multiple data sets. This enables data analysis in a relatively short time compared to conventional systems that perform analysis of large-scale data in one batch.

  • Although firms with advanced analytics and machine learning (which is often called AI) capabilities are considered to be highly successful in the market by making decisions and actions based on quantitative analysis using data, the scarcity of historical data and the lack of right data infrastructure are the problems for the organizations to perform such projects. The objective of this study, is to identify a road map for the organization to reach data capability maturity to become AI matured organizations. First, this study defines the terms, AI capability, data capability and AI matured organization. Then using content analyses, organizations' data practices performed for AI system development and operation are analyzed to infer a data capability roadmap to become an AI matured organization.

  • In this paper, for the evaluation of the ease of a particular Web site (www.appbelt.net), insert the log tracking code for Google Analytics in a page of the Web site to collect behavioral data of visitor and has studied the improvement measures for the problems of the Web site, after the evaluation of the overall quality of the Web site through the evaluation of Coolcheck. These findings set the target value of the company's priority (importance) companies want to influence the direction of the business judgment are set up correctly, and the user's needs and behavior will be appropriate for the service seems to help improvement.
