The Simulation and Experimental Study on the Bridge Response of AGT Bridge - Vehicle interaction System (AGT 시스템 교량-차량 상호작용에 의한 교량응답 시뮬레이션 및 실험)

  • LRT(Light Railway Train), which is a intermediate system of train and bus, is arose for the solution of subway construction cost and the transportation capacity of bus. LRT was introduced in 1980's. About 30 local governments are plan to introduce LRT or constructing LRT, at present. AGT(Automated Guide-way Transit) system, which is a kind of LRT, is operated without driver. Rubber wheeled AGT system can reduce the noise and vibration compare to steel wheeled AGT, so it is estimated as ideal transportation system for urban area. And live loads at bridge are classified as the static load of vehicle and the dynamic wheel contact load which is occurred from the interaction of bridge and vehicle vibration, and the surface roughness. In the case of AGT system, the dynamic increment factor of bridge is greater than the normal train bridge and roadway bridge, because, the weight of AGT vehicle is more light that the train of truck. The exact method for dynamic increment factor is experiment. But this method is needed much money and time, moreover, this method cannot be adopted in design. Therefore, a simulation program for the interaction of AGT bridge, vehicle and surface roughness was developed, in this study. And the program was verified by experiment. As a result, the accuracy of the simulation program can be verified.

Design of a 2.5 Gbps CMOS optical transmitter with 10:1 serializer using clock generation method (Reference clock 생성기를 이용한 10:1 데이터 변환 2.5 Gbps 광 송신기 설계)

  • The proposed optical transmitter is composed of FF(flip flop) , PLL (phase locked loop), reference clock generator, serializer and LD driver 10x250 Mb/s data arrays are translated to the 2.5 Gb/s data signal by serializer. In this case, 1 data bus is allocated usually as a reference clock for synchronization. In this proposed optical transmitter, 125 MHz reference clock is generated from 10x250 Mb/s data arrays by reference clock generator. From this method. absent of reference clock bus is available and more data transmission become possible. To achieve high speed operation, the serializer circuit is designed as two stacks. For 10:1 serialization, 10 clocks that have 1/10 lambda differences is essential, so the VCO (voltage controlled oscillator) composed of 10 delay buffers is designed. PLL is for runing at 250 MHz, and dual PFD(phase frequency detector) is adopted for fast locking time. The optical transmitter is designed by using 0.35 um CMOS technology.

It respects the passenger accident prevention and an air question environment improvement from subway platform and phul leys the screen door of Platform(PSD) with the fire tube frost it refers and part it treats and to sleep it does, ODM which bites is accuracy and immediacy of altitude and when seeing from the viewpoint which demands the trust of altitude, ODM system the trust of car incest interface in the equipment construction which is safe and the comparative analysis back of the system analysis against the control which bites and case study and other subway system it leads from the research which it sees and signal - train in base grudge to sleep it contributes it does.

Utilization of Active Diodes in Self-powered Sensorless Three-phase Boost-rectifiers for Energy Harvesting Applications

  • The main contribution of this paper is the use of sensorless active diodes to generate the gate signals for a three-phase boost-rectifier with a self-powered control scheme. The sensorless operation is achieved making use of the gate control signals generated by the active diode schemes on each of the switching devices using a pulse width half-controlled boost rectifier modulation technique (PWM-HCBR). The proposed scheme synchronizes the gate control signals with a three phase voltage supply. Autonomous operation is obtained making use of the output DC bus to feed the control circuitry, the active diodes and the driver circuitry. The three-phase boost-rectifier is supplied by a three-phase permanent magnet electric generator powered by a solar concentrator dish with variable voltage and variable frequency conditions. Experimental results report an efficiency of up to 94.6% for 25 W and an input of 3.6 V peak per phase with 450.

  • This paper proposes a novel high step-up non-isolated DC-DC converter, suitable for regulating dc bus in various inherent low voltage micro sources especially for photovoltaic (PV) and fuel cell sources. This novel high voltage Non-isolated Boost DC-DC converter topology is best replacement, where high voltage conversion ratio is required without the transformer and also need continuous input current. Since the proposed topology utilizes the stack-based structure, the voltage gain, and the efficiency are higher than other conventional non-isolated converters. Switches in this topology is easier to control since its control signal is grounding reference. Also, there is no need of extra gate driver and extra power supply for driver circuit, which reduces the cost and size of system. In order to show the feasibility and practicality of the proposed topology principle operation, steady state analysis and simulation result is presented and analyzed in detail. To verify the performance of proposed converter and theoretical analysis 360W laboratory prototype is implemented.

  • This study is a method for evaluating and quantifying driver's dangerous driving behavior. The quantification method calculates various driving information in real time after starting the vehicle operation such as the time that the vehicle has been continuously driven without a break, overspeed, rapid acceleration, and overspeed driving time. These quantified risk of driving behavior values can be individually provided as a safe driving index, or can be used to objectify the evaluation of a group of drivers on roads, or vehicle groups such as cargo/bus/passenger vehicles.

  • This study identified the factors that affect travel time budget by mode for traveler in Seoul using the SUR model. Individual, household and TAZ characteristics were selected as the explanatory variables. Transportation modes are summarized from 18 types to 6 types(walking, personal car, bus, subway, rail and bicycle). The results showed a distinct difference between personal transportation and public transportation. First of all, People who owned a car and driver's licence tend to prefer personal transportation. In addition, we can confirm the relationship between the bus and the subway which are most typical public transportation. Passengers who can available a personal mode preferred the subway than the bus. It is expected to suggest various implications related to the public transportation policy for Seoul metropolitan area.

  • Recently, many safety accidents involving children shuttle buses take place. Without a teacher for help, a safety accident occurs when the driver can't see a child who is getting off in the blind spot of both frontside and backside. A deep learning-based smart mirror allows user authentication and provides various services. Especially, It can be a role of helper for children, and prevent accidents that can occur when drivers or assistant teachers do not see them. User authentication is carried out with children's face registered in advance. Safety accidents can be prevented by an approximate sensor and a camera in frontside and backside of the bus. This study suggests a way of checking out whether children are missed in the process of getting in and out of the bus, designs a system that reduce blind spots in the front and back of the vehicle, and builds a safety system that provide various services using GPS.

  • In this paper, we designed a high resolution six channel DSB modulator of Acousto-Optic effect generator make use of DDS technology. Also, configured seamless connection for other instruments to use IEEE-488 bus interface. We programmed the device driver for DDS and DAC control by 80C51 assembler language. And, high resolution 6 channel DSB modulator has improved the important characteristics of that the frequency tuning range, the resolution, the switching time. This DSB modulator system can use high precision frequency synthesizer for instruments.

  • The transition of auxiliary lines for transmitting coding information has been one of the major obstacles to restricting the scalability of Sequence Switch Coding (SSC) algorithms. A new design of SSC which does not use auxiliary lines is presented in this paper. The new design makes overhead transitions far less than the previous designs that use auxiliary lines. By applying the new technique, more than 50% of overhead transitions have been reduced, leading to the increase of 30% of the overall efficiency of SSC algorithm.
