Background: Associations between Arg399Gln, Arg194Trp and Arg280His polymorphisms of the XRCC1 gene and risk of differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC) have been widely studied but the findings are contradictory. Methods: We performed a meta-analysis in the present study using STATA 11.0 software to clarify any associations. Electronic literature databases and reference lists of relevant articles revealed a total of 10, 6 and 6 published studies for the Arg399Gln, Arg194Trp and Arg280His polymorphisms, respectively. Results: No significant associations were observed between Arg399Gln and DTC risk in all genetic models within the overall and subgroup meta-analyses, while the Trp/Trp vs Arg/Arg and recessive model of the Arg194Trp polymorphism was associated with DTC susceptibility, and the dominant model of Arg280His polymorphism contributed to DTC susceptibility in Caucasians. Conclusions: Our meta-analysis suggests that XRCC1 Arg194Trp may be a risk factor for DTC development.

The infection status of anisakid larvae was examined in 290 marine fish of 25 species and in 108 cephalopods of 3 species purchased in Bayuquan region, Yingko city nearby the coast of the Bohai Sea from may to August 1992. A total of 7,327 laivae were collected from 156 fish of 19 species and 8 squids of one species. The 3rd-stage larvae of Anisokis simplex were collected from 121 fish (63..4%) of 15 species (N : 191) and from 8 squids (14.8%) of one species (N : %4), and they were total, 5,992 (81.8%). Out of remaining 1,335 larvae, 154 (2.1%) were classified as Rvnnqscnris type B from 23 fish of 4 species, 1,013 (13.8%) as avnnosccris type C from 79 fish of 13 species, 164 (2.2%) as Hvsterothylacium China type V from 20 fish of 4 species, 3 (0.04%) as Raphinoscnris from 3 fish of 2 species and one was Pseunotewonovc necipiens larva. Three fungal isolates, NNIBRFG108, 1139, and 1480, were isolated from freshwater environments; NNIBRFG108 from plant litter in Samcheok, Gangwon and NNIBRFG1139 and 1480 from the soil in Jeju & Gimcheon, Gyeongbuk, Korea. Based on the morphological characteristics and phylogenetic analysis of internal tanscribed spacer (ITS), 28S rDNA region, and ${\beta}$-tubulin gene, NNIBRFG108, NNIBRFG1139, and NNIBRFG1480 isolates were confirmed as Didymella segeticola, D. ellipsoidea, and D. aeria, respectively. Neither species has previously been described in Korea.

In this paper, changes of railway-related organization during the Japanese colonial period were studied indepth. The railway-related organizations were expanded from the Railway Management Bureau in 1906 (Residency-General). In 1910, this bureau changed to the General of Chosun Railway Bureau (Government-General) and the Chosun Railway Bureau (Government-General). In the 1940's, it developed into an organization called the Transport Bureau, dealing with the whole transport service. The number of employees in the railway sector increased along with the expansion of the organization and the establishment of a training institution for better recruitment. After examining the period of the construction of railway and connection system, which is deeply related to the railway organizations of the Japanese colonial period, this paper analyzes the transformation process of railway-related laws and organizations. Furthermore, this paper finds common characteristics and differences between railways in a comparison of three countries: Chosun, Japan and Taiwan.

In the product development stage, it is very important to ensure demanded quality level before moving to the full-scale manufacturing. For example, in developing guided weapons, live-fire tests are required to verify the final performance of the weapons which are very expensive. The quality evaluation of the guided weapons needs destructive testing, which makes it necessary to test as small number of samples as possible. This paper presents sampling inspection plans and calculating system for finite population guided weapons, which can meet the demanded quality level and confidence level with the minimum number of performance tests. The result of this paper can be useful for any kind of costly destructive testing.

본 연구에서는 전기회로 시뮬레이터를 사용하여 학습자 스스로가 회로를 직접 만들어보거나 또는 저항, 전지, 전구 값들을 변경시켜, 회로의 변화를 직접 눈으로 확인하여 전기회로의 여러 가지 기본 이론에나 원리를 쉽게 습득하도록 구현하였다. 기존에 나와 있는 코스웨어들은 대부분이 동화상을 포함하거나 또는 플래쉬로 구현되어 있었다. 때문에, 학습자는 극히 제한된 실험만이 가능하였다. 본 연구에서는 학습자가 가상의 실험기구들을 이용해서 직접 전기회로를 구현 할 수 있게 하였다. 이로 인해, 여러 가지 실험을 다양하게 설계 할 수 있어 학습의 응용력을 높일 수 있도록 하였다.

The concept of lean production originated and was applied mainly to manufacture industries Even proven successful with such companies as Toyota, lean production has to be combined railway transportation production in order to bring its function into full play. The paper analyzes for applicability of lean production in railway transportation production organization, puts forward implementation methods such as transportation resource integration, station-zone organization, dispatch command optimization, railway performance evaluation index system, etc., and makes an exemplification study of lean production of Urumqi Railway Bureau in China, which testifies the applicability and efficiency of railway lean production.

최근 각광받고 있는 RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) 기술은 물류, 유통 및 자산관리 분야를 중심으로 그 적용 사례들이 늘고 있다. 본 사례는 정보통신부의 IT839정책의 일환으로 RFID분야의 기술 및 산업 확산을 위해 한국전산원이 주관하여 추진한 2005년도 선도사업 중 하나인 공군 신무기(F-15K) 자산관리시스템 구축사업에 대한 것이다. 이 시스템의 구축을 통해 공군은 군수물자의 정확한 도입현황 파악이 가능하게 되었고, 보유 자산의 현황 및 저장위치 파악이 실시간 가능해졌으며, 수령, 저장, 발송, 재고관리 등 기존의 업무 처리 방식을 간소화하여 업무 소요시간 및 인력을 절감할 수 있었다.
