Word-of-mouth (WOM), the communication between consumers offline, has transformed to include electronic word-of-mouth(eWOM), which has grown in its influence due to the advancements in communication technology. Despite the fact that many researchers have studied the impact of WOM and eWOM on the performance of movies in the movie industry, there still exists much controversy. Therefore, this study investigates the relationship of eWOM's volume and valence with the box office revenue for 2 years in Korean movies industry. The results show that the volume of eWOM, which is expected to related to awareness diffusion, is more important than the valence in the early stage of movie release. And in the later stage, the valence of eWOM which is expected to related to persuasion effect influences the box office revenue. In addition, the relationship of the volume and valence on box office revenue in both early and later stage can be increased through the interaction with the star power which raises the familiarity or the movie genre which causes the high arousal.

Flow through the culvert is very complex depending on the characteristics of hydraulic conditions. A design method using a monograph is normally employed due to the wide range of flow characteristics and the difficulty of calculating inlet water depth. The present study suggests the method for determining the inlet water depth of box culvert using Bernoulli's equation. By employing the explicit equation of inlet water depth, a standard design method of box culvert is developed for a wide range of flow characteristics. Explicit solution techniques are proposed to determine the width and height, slope and discharge of box culvert.

Genetic diversity of Korean isolates of Pseudomonas tolaasii and WLRO (White line reacting organism) was assessed using BOX-, REP-, and ERIC-PCR analysis. P. tolaasii showed nearly identical band patterns among isolates, whereas considerable DNA polymorphism was found among isolates of WLRO. On the basis of dendogram, WLRO is characterized as a complex group with high degree of genetic differentiation. Genetic relatedness based on repetitive DNA regions was low between P. tolaasii and WLRO isolates.

A switch box is metal box for electric wire pipes in building. In manufacturing this box, the first press is used to mold and the second to fifth presses are used to process four-sides of a box. So four presses, four molds and four workers are needed. This leads to raise the manufacturing cost including machine lease rent, molding fee, and wages. To make matters worse, the roaring sound, vibration, and dangers of safety accidents make employees avoid from working that job. To solve this problem, a new Handling Mechanism and a cam die which combined four-die-involving processes into one die process were developed. That results job automation of the Job with one press and one die. The job avoidance problem is solved and manufacturing cost is reduced as well.

The purpose of this study was to establish the accuracy of the industrial photogrammetry system constructed with INCA2 metric camera and V-STARS system on steel box girder measurement under industrial measurement condition. The objective of the measurement was to determine the distances of plane to plane or plane to libs, precise positions of the bolt holes and angles of the plane to plane on the steel box girder using coded targets, tape targets, edge targets and target adapters. The measurement undertaken has shown that industrial photogrammetry method were a very accurate and more importantly were produced quickly to measure the steel box girder.

The longitude and latitude of a geosynchronous satellite are not defined as a point in space because of various external perturbations. To perform the missions of a satellite for a communication and broadcasting, the satellite must be positioned within a predefined station keeping box in given limited space longitude. In this study, we propose east-west station keeping box larger than that of north-south station. By using the derived error equation, we verified the Koreasat station keeping box allocation by assuming one week and two weeks of station keeping cycle.

This paper deals with the equivalent shear modulus of the egg-box core. There are three approaches to obtain the equivalent shear modulus of core: a finite element analysis, an analytical study, and an empirical method. In this study, an 3-point bending test is used to evaluate the equivalent shear modulus of the Egg-Box core. As a result of the present work, the equivalent shear modulus of egg-box core at room temperature can be obtained. And this result is compared with the result of finite element analysis.

Organic Electroluminescent devices(OELD) consisted of multilayer structures have been studied for the application the application to flat-panel display. Metal-chelate complexes, zinc bis(2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)benzoxazolate) ($Zn(BOX)_{2}$) and zinc bis(2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)benzothiazolate) ($Zn(BOX)_{2}$), have been intensively investigated as an white-light emitting layer and recognized to have good electroluminescent(EL) properties. In this study, ($Zn(BOX)_{2}$) and ($Zn(BTZ)_{2}$) were synthesized and characterized by FT-IR, $^{1}H-NMR$, UV-VIS and PL. Their EL properties were also studied and their ionization potential(IP) and electron affinity(EA) were also measured by cyclic voltammetry(CV).

This study analyzed the factors affecting box office performance of 200 movies released at the Chinese theater in 2015. The results showed that main actor power, online rating, production power, and Chinese film were sighificant factors which influenced box office, while the distribution power, genre, IP utilization and integration of production and distribution were insignificant. These results mean that online marketing factors such as the popularity index of the main actors evaluated on the internet and the online rating are affecting box office performances in Chinese theaters.

We propose a constant inversion black box model of erbium-doped fiber amplifiers (EDFAs) for exact performance predictions for EDFAs operated in the gain-flattened condition. The validity of the newly proposed model was experimentally verified by predicting the performance of EDFAs for the L band, within 1.9% required pump power discrepancy. The role of ion pairing effects on the power conversion efficiency is also discussed. ussed.
