Recently, a variety of books have been published in various fields, and the range of selection for both online and offline bookstores have been widened. However, there is a vinyl packaging phenomenon to prevent damage being made to the books in bookstores. This makes it difficult to have a look through on the contents of the book, affecting consumers' purchasing decisions. These factors causes the annual average reading volume to decrease. Therefore, in this paper, we would like to propose a "bookmark" application to provide consumers with book information service using AR and Marker technology, tackling the decrease in sales caused by the problem.

This study is to examine the validity of assessing basic-level proficiency in physics among incoming engineering freshmen through item analysis and standard setting. For empirical analysis, we examined the physics subject taken by the freshman class of 2021 at K University, considering its significance for engineering students. In this study, we initially performed item analysis utilizing both classical test theory and item response theory. Subsequently, leveraging the item and test information, we employed a modified Angoff method and the Bookmark method for standard setting. Consequently, the difficulty level initially set during item development was found to be higher than the actual performance level exhibited by the students. This study highlights a discernible disparity between the expected university standard and the real proficiency level of incoming freshmen in terms of basic academic ability in physics. Based on these research findings, a comprehensive discussion on the fundamental academic competence of engineering students was conducted, underscoring the necessity for formulating a tailored learning approach leveraging the outcomes from the basic ability test.

A Internet user can easily access to the target information by web searching using some key-words or categories in the present Internet environment. When some meta-data which represent attributes of several data structures well are used, then more accurate result which is matched with the intention of users can be provided. This study proposes a multiple dimensional vector tagging method for the small web user group who interest in maintaining and sharing the bookmark for common interesting topics. The proposed method uses vector tag method for increasing the effect of categorization, management, and retrieval of target information. The vector tag composes with two or more components of the user defined priority. The basic vector space is created time of information and reference value. The calculated vector value shows the usability of information and became the metric of ranking. The ranking accuracy of the proposed method compares with that of a simply link structure, The proposed method shows better results for corresponding the intention of users.

Most Web search engines use ranking methods that take both the relevancy and the importance of documents into consideration. The importance of a document denotes the degree of usefulness of the document to general users. One of the most successful methods for estimating the importance of a document has been Page-Rank algorithm which uses the hyperlink structure of the Web for the estimation. In this paper, we propose a new importance estimation algorithm for the blog environment. The proposed method, first, calculates the importance of each document using user's bookmark and click count. Then, the Guru point of a blogger is computed as the sum of all importance points of documents which he/she wrote. Finally, the guru points are reflected in document ranking again. Our experiments show that the proposed method has higher correlation coefficient than the traditional methods with respect to correct answers.

Due to the exponential increase of information, search and access for the Web information or service takes much time. Web information is represented through several web pages using hyperlinks and each web page is contains several topics. However. most existing web tools don't reflect such web authoring tendencies and treat it as an independent information unit. This inconsistency yields inherent problems in web browsing and searching. In this paper, we propose a web surfing assistant called LinkBroker that provides collodion pages. They are composed of relevant information extracted from several web pages that have table and frame structure in order to improve accessibility to web information. Especially, the system extracts a set of web pages that are logically connected and groups those pages using table and frame tags. Then, essential information blocks in each page of a group are extracted to construct an integrated summary page. It Provides a comprehensive view to user and one cut way to access distributed information. Experimental results show the effectiveness and usefulness of LinkBroker system.

It is required to enhance the value of ISBN as a tool for book search, identification, browsing, and improve the accessability and search capability of library OPAC. Bookmarklet is a small size javascript which can be saved as URL in a web browser bookmark or web page hyperlink. Open source bookmarklet can extract ISBN from web pages and search a book from library OPAC using the ISBN, so it is recognized as a simple but powerful search tool. In foreign countries, commercial library system vendors, libraries, OCLC, etc. are providing bookmarklets which allow a user to search for library holdings and loan information in a real time while he/she is travelling in an online bookshop web page. Therefore, this paper compared and analyzed international bookmarklets application examples and proposed LibraryLookup service in which library OPAC and online bookshop can make use of the bookmarklets.

Recently various electronic books (I-Book) based on PDA (personal digital assistance) that we can easily use anytime and anywhere have been developed. Volume and weight of the E-Book is much less than that of traditional books. In that reason, it is easy to carry and serve us with contents by diverse functions such as searching, bookmark, dictionary, and playing of color image, sound or moving picture. On account of these advantages, many products connected with I-Book have been emerged in the market. However a product connected with educational contents is scarce, because it requires not only normal function but also additional functions such as a problem solving. Therefore it is actually necessary to develop a browser and an editor for educational contents. In this paper, we express educational contents by XML and define structure of document with XML schema. Then, we design and implement an editor and a browser that can manage educational contents on PDA.

In this paper, it suggested Android smart phone application for users who want to find valley at summer. To provide correct information, we used Korea Tourism Organization's tourism information database and to provide tourism information and map service at once we linked Naver map. Search valley application can search valley by using country's region name and keyword by using map and GPS. we can find restaurants accomodations around your location. we can get restaurants and accommodations by control distance so we can get phone number, pictures and detail information about searched data. Also, you can bookmark valley where you want to go and you can search of delete bookmarked valley whenever you want. you can share opinion by writing postscribe about the valley where application user went. for developer and users amicable communication we made Q&A board.

Despite the characteristics of public data with various potentials, few studies have been conducted on general users who lack an understanding of data as well as on expansion of the service uses. This study examined which digital-service-quality factors affect the intention to continue using public data services based on the expectation confirmation theory. As a result of the analysis, satisfaction partially mediated between expectation agreement and continued use intention for understandability and efficiency, which were combined as one factor, and completely mediated the relationship between perceived usefulness expectation agreement and continued use intention. It can be seen that the more the understanding and usefulness of the information provided by the service is satisfied, the higher the willingness to use it. Accordingly, it suggested adding an electronic bookmark function and the provision of online community for users to improve the overall quality of services. This study is significant in that it provided evidence on which part to focus on when designing electronic services from the point of view of general users.

A Korean Tea-Historical Literature DB was constructed, collating information related to tea from eight historical texts, including the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty. Data were gathered from existing historical literature DB and web services. After processing, verification, and tag input, 53,679 historical literature data entries related to tea were created. This DB construction centralizes previously dispersed reading services into a single web service. Features such as literature title, time, and tag-based search functionality; assignment of attribute tags to data; search linkage through original source links; and a bookmark function were incorporated to enhance user convenience. The outcomes of this research support studies in the related fields, and it is believed that by accumulating and improving accessibility to tea-related literature, contributions can be made to the preservation and education of Korean traditional tea as a food resource and cultural heritage.
