  • To use IoT Technology, it needs a platform to connect each devices. With this reason, Many corporations and organizations are trying to develop their own Platform. Among many platforms we select AllJoyn, IoT open source platform developed by Allseen Alliance which is association led by Qualcomm. Using AllJoyn, we transform data gathered from many communication techniques like WiFi, Zigbee and Bluetooth into AllJoyn platform format and deliver it to other AllJoyn devices. Ultimately, we realize gateway system which enables non-AllJoyn devices to communicate with AllJoyn devices.

  • Recently Sharp in use of smartphones has been inventing convenient application in living. Among the application to use a lot of people about to diet and exercise have to measure the their heart rate and activity. but have to nothing to measure th their body size. In this paper using Arduino and ultrasonic sensor, The distance between the sensor to be measured on the body size, value output a LCD, the size value to the application transferring through a Bluetooth communication smartphone, they knew exactly what the exercise for body part that is what they wants.

  • In this paper, technologies applied to design urination detection device on diaper that issues an alarm signal to guardian within 10~20m are introduced. It features power saving that uses both low power bluetooth v4.0 chip and low-power program scheme that makes sensor and mirco-controller to be sleep mode while data is not receiving from sensor. Urination detection algorithm that utilizes the difference between previous sensing data and current values is used to improve the degree of the detection precision level. The device designed with the suggested technologies shows the performance that is 100ml of the minimum urine amount for detection, more than 90% of urination detection degree, and 100% of wireless communication success rate.

  • Researches of U-Healthcare have been fulfilled lively with an advanced age and change of lifestyles. Especially, medical field has focused on researches of U-Healthcare due to that reasons. The U-Healthcare service requires the foundation technologies, such as sensor aggregating, data transmitting and realtime monitoring technologies, In this study, we implemented medical sensor that applied Bluetooth technology to guarantee the patient's movement. Moreover, we also implemented a gateway which based on Google Android System in ARM 11 Embedded system.

  • Smart factory has the function of integrated management of production process management, logistics management as a intelligent factory, it is also emerging as the core of new industry which converges ICT and manufacturing business. We suggested Smart factory logistics management system which embedded position tracking technology and the system converges ICT and IoT. This suggested system can manage all the processes from production to release by tracking route and position based on signal strength of bluetooth 4.0 beacon tag. For the more, we will expect to apply to the various type of factory environments like detachable installation, optimized management using sensor.

  • Recently, people are paying huge attention to problems caused by indoor air pollution. Also, the need for the system that monitors environmental information for indoor and warns a danger is growing increasingly. In this regard, we designed and implemented environment monitoring system for indoor. In this paper, we describe the system with hardware elements and it's communication method. In order to transfer the data from environment sensors, we use short-range wireless communication in smart phone. The proposed system is possible to know the indoor environment information in installed sensor node. If the risk is found, For the proposed system, there is an advantage that may be appropriate evacuation.

  • 최근 IT 기술의 발전으로 가장 보편화 되고 있는 첨단기기는 스마트폰이다. 길을 걸으며 스마트폰을 사용하는 사람들이 늘어나고 이러한 행위는 보행자 자신의 안전에도 크게 위협적인 요소가 될 수도 있지만 자칫 주변 사람들에게까지 돌이킬 수 없는 결과를 초래할 수도 있다. 본 논문에서는 사람들의 안전한 생활을 위한 지능형 신발을 설계한다. 설계한 신발은 사람들에게 편리하고 유용한 장애물 감지 및 알림 시스템을 설계하기 위해 초음파 센서와 진동 센서 그리고 LED를 이용한다. 또한 모바일 어플리케이션(Mobile application)을 개발하여 활용도를 높인다. 초음파 센서는 마이크로 프로세서에서 장애물과의 거리를 계산한다. 진동 센서는 초음파 센서에서 계산한 거리가 특정거리(IM-4M) 이내이면 신호를 받아 진동 센서 혹은 LED가 동작해 사람에게 장애물이 있다고 알려준다. 모바일 어플리케이션(Mobile application)은 신발이 스마트폰과 일정거리 이상 멀어져 블루투스(Bluetooth)가 끊기면 알림을 해줌으로써 분실 방지를 해주고. 신발의 각 기능들을 제어하도록 해준다. 또 장애물과의 거리가 얼마나 남았는지를 확인할 수 있는 기능도 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서 제안하는 장애물 감지 및 알림 기능은 사람들에게 안전을 보장해주고 저비용으로 구현 가능한 장점이 있다.

  • 무선통신기술은 연결 중심의 IoT 시대에서 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. IoT 기기 간 데이터 통신을 위해 Bluetooth, NFC와 같은 기술이 활용되지만, 호환성의 문제가 있다. 비가청주파수를 활용한 데이터 통신 연구는 기존의 무선통신기술이 가지는 모듈 의존성, OS 종속성 문제를 해결하였다. 하지만 기존 연구 결과는 소량 데이터만 전송 가능하고, 데이터 전송량을 늘릴 경우 전송시간 대비 효율이 낮았다. 본 논문에서는 비가청주파수를 활용하여 대량의 비트를 여러 개의 프레임으로 나누어 연속적으로 전송하기 위한 통신 프로토콜을 제안한다. 이는 소량 데이터를 전송하는 기존 연구 결과의 높은 정확도와 함께 송신부와 수신부의 유기적인 상호작용을 통해 대량의 데이터 전송에 적합한 알고리즘이다.

  • Most wearable system for mobile healthcare applications consists of three parts. The first part is the sensing elements based on bio-signal, the second is the circuit module for control, data acquisition and wireless communication and control and the third is garment with a built-in electrodes and circuits. The existing healthcare garment systems have to find a solution to signal-wire and uncomfortable and inappropriate electrode to long-term attachment. Even if the wireless communication is used for healthcare garment system, the interface between sensors and circuits have to use wires. To solve these problems, this paper use electrode using PEDOT coated PVDF nanoweb for ECG signal and PVDF film sensor for respiratory signal. And, we constructed garment network using digital yarn of 10um, and transmitted ECG and respiratory signal to mobile phone through the integrated circuit with bluetooth called station To evaluate feasibility of the proposed mobile healthcare garment system, we experimented with transmission and measurement of ECG and respiratory signal using nanoweb electrode and digital yarn. We got a successful result without noise and attenuation.

  • In this paper, an auxiliary device was implemented to help blind people more safely from obstacles or risk factors while walking. The ultrasonic sensors detect obstacles in the front, so that the noise gap and the vibration intensity of the buzzer can be heard differently by distance and angle, and so the situation can be perceived by pedestrians. When the ambient light becomes darker than the light intensity set using the CdS resistance value of the light sensor, the LED automatically turns on, makes it easier for pedestrians to recognize the position of the auxiliary device through buzzer if the pedestrian misses the aid using the gyro sensor's slope. Moreover, the location and situation of the blind were transmitted to the caregiver to check safety and behavior using GPS and Bluetooth.
