  • We shall discuss one of some techniques needed to analyze algorithms. It is called a big-O function technique. The measures of efficiency of an algorithm have two cases. One is the time used by a computer to solve the problem using this algorithm when the input values are of a specified size. The other one is the amount of computer memory required to implement the algorithm when the input values are of a specified size. Mainly, we will restrict our attention to time complexity. To figure out the Time Complexity in nonlinear problems of Numerical Analysis seems to be almost impossible.

  • In this paper, it is to development of brake system with ABS function for aircraft. The test of brake system is required before applying on aircraft. The real-time dynamic simulator with 5-D.O.F. aircraft dynamic model is developed for braking performance test of ABS (Anti-skid Brake System) control h/w with anti-skid brake functions. The dynamic simulator is real-time interface system that is composed of dynamic simulation parts, master control parts, digital and analog in/out interface parts, and user interface parts. The 5-D.O.F. aircraft dynamic model is composed of a big contour and a little contour by simulation s/w. The big contour represents the interactions of forces in airframe, nose and main landing gear, and engines on the center of gravity. The little contour represents interactions of wheel, braking units, hydraulic units and a control unit. ABS control h/w unit with ABS control algorithm is also developed and is tested with simulator under the some conditions of gripping coefficient. We have known that ABS control h/w unit on wet or snowy runway as well as dry runway very well protects wheel skid.

  • This paper studies a real-time VBR traffic characterization. There are two big approaches to determine traffic. One is a statistic approach and the other is a deterministic approach. This paper proposes a new constraint function, what we called “Sub-Sum Constraint Function”(SSCF). This function is mainly based on a deterministic approach and uses a statistic approach. It predicts and calculates the next rate with a present information about the stream. SSCF captures the intuitive bounded by a rate lower than its peak rate and closer to its long-term average rate. This model makes a order of the constraint function much less than any other works (O(n)). It can also be mapped on a token bucket algorithm which consists of r (token rate) and b (token depth). We use a concept, EB(effective bandwidth) for a utility of our function and comparing with other techniques such as CBR, average VBR. We simulated 21 multimedia sources for verifying the utility of our function.

Case influence diagnostics for the significance of the linear regression model

  • In this paper we propose influence measures for two basic goodness-of-fit statistics, the coefficient of determination $R^2$ and test statistic F in the linear regression model using the deletion method. Some useful lemmas are provided. We also express the influence measures in terms of basic building blocks such as residual, leverage, and deviation that showed them as increasing function of residuals and a decreasing function of deviation. Further, the proposed measure reduces computational burden from O(n) to O(1). As illustrative examples, we applied the proposed measures to the stackloss data sets. We verified that deletion of one or few influential observations may result in big change in $R^2$ and F-statistic.

  • Position balance control refers to ability that is kept bodily center of gravity under minimum position shake on surface of land. Patients who an injury of brain, a wound of the central nervous system or weakening of leg muscular power is fallen are trend increasing steadily by the car accident body balance function is on an increasing trended. These patients have difficulty in position balance control, receive big restriction walk and life style. This research composed to do body balance function rehabilitation training which elevate leg muscular power using step machine. And expect to become effective rehabilitation training device because measuring bodily pressure center using Force Platform and do so that can confirm training result easily as that is monitor.

Prediction of spatio-temporal AQI data

  • With the rapid growth of the economy and fossil fuel consumption, the concentration of air pollutants has increased significantly and the air pollution problem is no longer limited to small areas. We conduct statistical analysis with the actual data related to air quality that covers the entire of South Korea using R and Python. Some factors such as SO2, CO, O3, NO2, PM10, precipitation, wind speed, wind direction, vapor pressure, local pressure, sea level pressure, temperature, humidity, and others are used as covariates. The main goal of this paper is to predict air quality index (AQI) spatio-temporal data. The observations of spatio-temporal big datasets like AQI data are correlated both spatially and temporally, and computation of the prediction or forecasting with dependence structure is often infeasible. As such, the likelihood function based on the spatio-temporal model may be complicated and some special modelings are useful for statistically reliable predictions. In this paper, we propose several methods for this big spatio-temporal AQI data. First, random effects with spatio-temporal basis functions model, a classical statistical analysis, is proposed. Next, neural networks model, a deep learning method based on artificial neural networks, is applied. Finally, random forest model, a machine learning method that is closer to computational science, will be introduced. Then we compare the forecasting performance of each other in terms of predictive diagnostics. As a result of the analysis, all three methods predicted the normal level of PM2.5 well, but the performance seems to be poor at the extreme value.

대규모 동적 O/D 생성을 위한 추정 방법론 연구: 첨두 출근통행을 기준으로 (A Methodology for Estimating Large Scale Dynamic O/D of Commuter Working Trip)

  • 본 연구는 통행자의 통행패턴이 도착지의 토지이용패턴에 따라 변화하는 특징을 반영하여 대규모 동적 O/D를 구축하는 방법을 제안하였다. 기존 동적 O/D 추정 방법 관련 연구들을 살펴보면 자료수집의 어려움으로 소규모 지역에 국한하여 적용 가능하거나, 고속도로망 혹은 대중교통망 등 특정 교통망에 제한하여 O/D를 구축하는 등 한계가 존재한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 빅데이터 시대에 발맞추어 쉽게 수집, 이용이 가능한 교통 관련 자료들을 기반으로 분석 지역의 범위 제약 없이 동적 O/D를 추정하는 기법을 제시하였다. 군집 분석(Clustering Analysis) 기법을 이용하여 군집별 도착시간 기준 통행분포 비율로 출발시간 통행분포 비율을 산정하고 첨두 출발시간 분포함수를 추정하였다. 추정된 분포함수를 조사자료에 적용하여 비교 검증을 진행해본 결과 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났다.

리눅스 네트워크 모듈에서 커널 하드닝 기능 설계 (Design of the Kernel Hardening Function in the Linux Network Module)

  • 본 논문은 리눅스 커널 네트워크 모듈에서 커널 개발자의 실수나 의도하지 않은 오류 등으로 인하여 발생되는 시스템 정지 현상 또는 시스템 패닉 현상을 줄이기 위한 커널 하드닝 설계 내용을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 네트워크 모듈 내의 커널 하드닝 기능은 문제가 발생한 리눅스 네트워크 모듈을 수행 중인 프로세스에 있어서 문제가 발생한 코드의 주소 형태와 값 형태에 따라 복구를 하도록 하는 것이다. 값과 주소에 대한 잘못된 수행으로 시스템이 정지되는 현상을 줄임으로써 안정적인 네트워크 기능 동작을 보장한다. 오류가 발생한 커널 코드에 대해서 복구 가능한 경우에는 ASERT() 함수에서 복구가 가능하도록 설계되었다.

  • Generally pigment differs from dye stuff because it cannot be melted in water but also because it is stable physically and chemically. In this study you will discover the function, properties and effects of Micai-TiO$_2$-SiO$_2$pigment as abase material pigment. But until now used Mica of the base material is about 7-l5${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ with an average diameters of 15${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$. A new characteristic superficial pigment was obtained from covering the TiO$_2$ and SiO$_2$ with the adsorption result of isoelectric point of a Mica flake, TiO$_2$ and SiO$_2$In the composition reaction study of adsorption was done as well as the physical characteristics of the superficial texture of the obtained material. L,a,b of color change as oil was absorbed, optical nature and change of reflection according to direct and diffused reflection. In the composition of Mica slurry the best result obtained was in a solution with pH 2.0 to 2.3. Following this result, we can come to the idea that electrical attraction was done during the change of electrical charge of the Mica and TiO$_2$ deposit. Also this pigment shows a big scale between the direct reflection and diffused reflection light. Using this characteristic in cosmetic, it was obtained a natural but a contrast between light and shadow making possible a sculptured make-up. Color change due to oil adsorption was insignificant which improved the last of make up.

점근적 분석 모형에 기초한 유한개 레코드 정렬 알고리즘 효율성의 확률적 분석 (Probabilistic analysis of efficiencies for sorting algorithms with a finite number of records based on an asymptotic algorithm analysis)

  • 정렬 알고리즘 효율성을 분석하는 O 표기법은 자료 크기에 관한 모형을 구축하지 않고 자료 크기가 무한하게 증가될 때의 정렬 비교 횟수의 증가율에 관한 대략적인 정보만을 제공하는 점근적 알고리즘 분석 결과이다 그러므로 제한된 유한개의 자료들만을 정렬하는 응용 면에서도 정렬 알고리즘 효율성 검정이 필요하다. 9,000개 이하의 수치 자료에 삽입 정렬과 퀵 정렬 알고리즘을 적용하여 자료 개수에 따른 정렬 시 필요한 원소 교환 횟수 관계 모형을 구축하였다. 효율성이 O(nlogn)으로 분류되는 퀵 정렬의 경우 추정된 모형은 S=0.9305 $N^{1.1339}$으로, O( $n^2$) 으로 분류되는 퀵 정렬에서는 S=0.12232 $N^{2.013}$으로 추정되었다. 또한 모형의 적합도 검정 결과 정렬 시 자료 개수에 따른 원소 교환 횟수 관계가 추정된 모형들에 의하여 99% 이상이 설명될 수 있으며 적합성을 증명하는 강한 확률적 증거가 발견 되었다. 본 연구 결과들은 정렬 자료 개수가 적은 경우나 새로 개발된 정렬 알고리즘 효율성에 관한 검정의 필요성을 제시한다.
