Since the existing mass production and consumption systems are no longer sustainable, countries are pushing for policies to make fisheries by-products as resources in an eco-friendly manner, and international standards are also being strengthened to increase the value of by-products. In Korea, economic and environmental perceptions of the by-products are rapidly changing, such as realizing carbon neutrality and enhancing circular resources by Korean Sustainable Development Goals. Raw materials derived from the by-products have been steadily imported from 2018. In particular, the number of imports of fish collagen peptides was only 16 number of times in 2017, but was rapidly increased to 483 number of times in 2020. Simultaneously, the demand for raw materials and nutrients for health functional food derived from fish by-products, which did not exist statistically until 2017, started to arise from 2018, and in 2019, consumption of high-value-added raw materials for fish by-products increased by 45% compared to the previous year. However, limitations are in legal and biotechnical industry aspects while its value as a biomaterial is recognized in the by-products-related industry. In this study, therefore, the status of by-products for upcycling biomaterials was reported and provided a scientific basis for supporting governmental strategies. In order to fulfill with the principles of a sustainable circular economy, the factors on hinder the marine bio-industrialization of the by-products were derived and suggested directions and plans for development into a high-value added the by-products as the marine bio-industry by substituting imported raw materials to support the development.
Living modified (LM) crops are imported each year to South Korea as food and feeds, LM canola being one of the imported crops. The cultivation of LM crops is not permitted in South Korea but the import of these crops is increasing. In this study, we surveyed the environmental risk of imported LM canola at 9 provinces, from March 2009 to June 2013. Monitoring of canola was conducted around feed factories, roadsides, harbors, farmhouses, and flower festival regions. From the total of 595 canola samples collected from 1850 monitoring sites, we identified 6 LM canola samples. The LM canola samples were subjected to protein and DNA based analysis. PCR analyses using approved 5 single event primers (T45, MS8, RT73, Rf3 and Topas 19-2) revealed that two crops were glyphosate-resistant LM canolas, and four were glufosinate-resistant LM canolas. This study suggested that environmental monitoring is a useful research tool to manage LM crops unintentionally introduced into the environment in South Korea. This result can be used as a basis for future post-management of canola crops.

In this study, the anthracite coal being used as fuel in Korea were classified into different types. These types include the domestically produced anthracite, imported anthracite used as raw material, and imported anthracite used as fuel. Each of the calorific values and greenhouse gas emission factors were calculated. The calculation of greenhouse gas emission factors resulted in the domestically produced anthracite as $111,477{\pm}4,508kg\;CO_2/TJ$, the imported anthracite used as raw material as $108,358{\pm}4,033kg\;CO_2/TJ$, and anthracite used as fuel was displayed as $103,927{\pm}8,367kg\;CO_2/TJ$. Additionally, the amount of greenhouse gas emission based on these calculated emission factors was displayed as $6,216,942ton\;CO_2$, which resulted as 12.7% lower than the green house gas emission amount which was calculated without distinguishing anthracite coal in details. Therefore, collecting activity data through a detailed classification of anthracites facilitate a more accurate calculation of greenhouse gas emission amount compared to collecting activity data through combination. Furthermore, since the anthracite coal used domestically possesses characteristics differing from the anthracite coal proposed by the IPCC, anthracite coal should be classified for each purpose and calculated for the improvement of the national greenhouse gas inventory.

In physics education, language is an fundamental learning tool as in other subjects. In writing activity, students can get fair opportunities to express their own ideas during the class. Even though there are various styles of writing, students are usually supposed to make a report in their science classes. But there have been few studies in science education on the tasks and features of student's science writing. In this research, different styles of writing tasks were designed for science classes, and students' writing was analysed in terms of conceptual and emotional aspects. Also the usefulness of each task type was discussed relating to school physics education. Four types of writing, i.e. , , , and writing were developed, and 'The reflection of light' was selected as the theme and given to students. Four types of writing were analysed in this paper. In each type of writing, students showed different features in their conception. They also showed emotional expressions in imaginative writing types, that is, and types. Based on these results, it is recommended that in physics teaching various types of writing need to be designed, developed and applied according to the aim of a particular lesson.
According to the Sam-guk Sa-gi (History of three Kingdoms: Silla, Koguryo and Paeckje) tea was first brought into Korea by Kim Tae-ryeum, a diplomat, in 828 A.D. during the reign of king Hung-dot of Silla, and planted on the hill of Mt. Chi-ri. Afterwards, the tea trees were transplanted and cultivated by Buddists in many Buddist temples in southern provinces during the Silla and Koryo dynasties. People took much delight in drinking green tea, and specially the kings, buddist monks and nobilities of Silla and Koryo enjoyed drinking green tea. And eventually, the green tea became an indispensable part in all important ceremonies during the Koryo dynasty. After the Yi dynasty came into being, the dualistic philosophy of China was introduced and respected while buddist temples declined as a result of strong oppression by the ruling class. While temples were declined, the practice of drinking green tea was also declined. Nowadays we find many tea plants grow wild, which are seemed to be planted around buddist temples during the Koryo dynasty. Today, Korean people do not drink home made green tea. Instead, they like to take coffee, black tea and other tea products imported from foreign countries. Aa a result, Korea had to pay $ 520 thousand in 1969 to import foreign made tea and coffee. The natural conditions of southern provinces of Korea are very suitable in cultivating tea plants. If we develope the skill in producing good quality tea in Korea, we would be able to save the foreign exchanges that are being spent for importing foreign made tea products, and at the same time, we would be able to export our green tea to overseas. The quality of Korean green tea is as good as that of Japanese green tea. Green tea contains vitamin C while coffee and black tea do not contain it.
This research is focused on the development of GIS Diagnostic SYSTEM to prevent accidents beforehand by inspecting the internal defects of GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) which is a main power-facility for substations. GIS Diagnostic SYSTEM is categorized as 'Real time on-line test type' and 'Portable test type' depending on the types of testing, it uses PD(partial discharge) which mostly incurs in GIS internal defects, to inspect. As of now, mostly foreign equipments are imported for use due to the lack of the technology localization, and these are installed and operated on only some parts of highly-graded GIS power-facilities such as in 76skv or 345kv for its being expensive. Furthermore, other than foreign equipments being costly, it also has a weak point of very long unavailability in case of Diagnostic system break-down while using, because it takes a comparatively long period of corrective maintenance precesses. We have localized to develop personal real-time multi -functional GIS Diagnostic system which can test on all GIS power-facility comprehensively and economically therefore overcome all these problems mentioned above, a market expansion is expected from the decrease of price and replacing the import equipments in the future. As the equipment was developed to be Personal for the simple ways of installing and utilizing, it can be operated without any complex cable installation like other existing GIS Diagnostic system requires, therefore also decrease the cost of cable installation.
Head-Up Display, an information-providing display, is a device that provides necessary information through a vehicle window for a driver when driving, with which the driver secures the visibility and acquires information necessary for driving. Head-up displays in early days were mostly installed in imported vehicles but increasingly, being installed in medium and large-sized domestic vehicles, they secures convenience of driving and information acquirement. The information display element of each of currently released brand cars not only has limits in consistency and in displaying interface but also reveals the limitation of a way to apply GUI, being applied to dot reflective form in terms of the technology type. Accordingly, this study draws real time information element described as necessary during driving through case survey and analysis, and aims to provide a user with new GUI guideline through transparent display technology recently developed based on results analyzed with priority of POI(Point of Interest) information.

Since Industrial Revolution, the sudden industrialization and population explosion have brought about a serious environmental pollution on the air of the earth, the quality of water and the soil, and the greenhouse effect by the destruction of the ozone layer and the greenhouse gas, the organism diversity decline, the desertification by the ruining of woods and the overall global environmental pollution such as the contamination of the ocean and rivers have been come to the front. So the new recognition on the environment is being spreaded in construction business and the efforts for certification acquisition of ISO 14000 being followed by ISO 9000 are progressing, Accordingly, with an example of H Company where integration system is built so that it can minimize the efforts and cost at the construction of the management system, operation and management after the fact, this paper shall suggest the practical scheme of 3 steps through a study to integrate both existing quality management system and new environmental management system. As the integration system of the quality and environment which is constructed by this method is executed, the number of the established and managed document is cut by about a third and so the disorder to encounter between these documents is prevented and unnecessary efforts is reduced in constructing a system, consequently the efficiency of the system is accomplished. Also as the dualization of quality management system and environmental management system additionally needs more men and money after certification acquisition, the non-construction of the integration system may give rise to a cause to aggravate the burden of the company and hereafter when a new system is imported, it may be very difficult to integrate the system. This system integration enables a efficient and effective system to be constructed , operated , and managed after the fact.

The Korean clothing culture has shown rapid changes along with influences of western cultures, with social changes due to the liberation from Japan, the Korean War, and the economic growth concentrated on export since the westernization of Korea had begun. Also clothing materials, as a phase of such culture, have been changed. Among silk fabrics, "Dan (단: damask of satin texture with Korean traditional patterns are inwoven)", which has been concerned one of the most beautiful and precious fabrics due to its complexity and difficulty of processing. Since the beginning of the Era of Enlightenment(Kae-hwa-gi), Dan fabric materials and weaving methods have changed. It seems that the figured texture using the Jacquard loom began in 1936. when the Jacquard machine began to be imported from Japan into Korea. From that time on, new fabric materials, such as yangdan (양단), and popdan (법단), hobakdan (호박단), silk and rayon mixed Dan(교직양단) began to be produced. Before 1950's there were some restrictions about the Number of wefts, so the production of the one colored dan(단색단) was more common than that of the multi colored dan(다색단). But with the spread of 4$\times$4 shuttle box loom (양사정직기), various kinds of the multi colored dan have been produced after 1960's. Around the end of 1980's, automatic shuttle change loom have been generalized and 7 color dan(칠색단), 9 color gumsadan (구색금사단) have been current in multi colored dan. In terms of materials, synthetic and chemical textiles had been used widely and alter 1980's most fabrics, of which the ground weave is not being woven with satin-weave but being woven with plain or twill-weave, are named Dan in general.
Medical service robots are variously defined and classified by researchers and related government departments, but surgical robots and rehabilitation robots are commonly included in medical service robots, and except for these, the robots are classified as other medical service robots. In this study, domestic and foreign development trends and use cases were considered, focusing on logistics, guidance, and drug processing robots among other medical service robots. Logistics and guidance robots were developed quite a lot in Korea and completed a pilot project, or are being commercialized in hospitals, and exported. However, although the drug prcocessing robots was developed in Korea, the robot being use in the hospital was an imported. In order to expand and activate the robot market, systematic follow-up studies such as demand prediction studies are needed.
